thanks for your encouraging words girls about lewis' clinginess! it really is doing my head in. i've managed to put him the swing atm just so i can have a minute to myself.

arte- the nybc is not going too good. i went really well for a week or so but then i went out for breakfast one day and it tasted so good and it kind of all went downhill from there. it's just so much harder to be healthy iykwim? especially when i'm so tired, not getting much sleep and lewis is awake and clingy all day long. it's very hard to do the exercise that i need to do to lose this weight. i wish i hadn't eaten so much red rooster when i was pg lol! anyway, i haven't weighed myself yet but i've joined a fitness studio and i have my initial consultation on monday where they will do my weights, measurements etc. and work out a bit of a plan so i guess i'll just take it from there. would love to lose 10kg but i'd even just be happy with 5kg as a start iykwim?
the proposal is not happening...lol...i still reckon it's his bl88dy job! i do enough for him i reckon, i'm not doing the proposing as well! i guess he did move states for me..but still...i reckon he needs to get off his butt and do some proposing!!

lp- i forgot to say back there congrats on your course. we all knew you were talented. your paintings are unbelievable. i reckon you should set up a website and sell some online. i'll buy one!

re the kfc potato and gravy. i used to work at kfc in high school and the gravy is the melted fat taken from the bottom of the cookers mixed with a little bit of powder. not good for you at all...but nothing from kfc really is, i think that's the attraction of kfc...it's so bad that it's good!

Welll we had a good day at the shops today. Grandma spent a bomb at pumpkin patch, lucky Maddie. I bought Maddie a small Australia day flag to hold for Aus day (obviously!). Has anyone seen baby aus day onesies or t-shirts anywhere?

Gracie - Lewis will get over his clinginess soon enough. I'm sure they all go through the clingy stage, Maddie is just starting to cling to me a bit more now days. She even cries at DP sometimes. I'm still waiting for a proposal as well!! I would love to get married tomorrow. Speaking of exercise, I'm going to try to get to a body combat class tomorrow. I used to do it heaps before I was pregnant, I am soooo unfit now so I think I'm going to struggle through it! Good luck with your exercise plan.

Marydean - OMG thats disgusting the poor bub!! Yuck I wont be eating KFC potato and gravy myself now that I know whats in it, let along feeding it to Maddie. Thanks for your advice regarding the counselling sessions, I will definately mention it to her. I can imagine how something like that could stick in your mind for awhile, all the what ifs. It will do her good to talk about it and get it outta her system. Oh no sorry to hear about your pelvis...and you have two beautiful daughters and two is a nice number I think. If for some reason I couldnt have any more than 1, I'd be dissapointed, but so thankful for the one that I have if you know what I'm trying to say (i'm not being rude and saying be thankful, more trying to say you are so lucky...oh god I cant explain I hope you know what i mean!!!!)

Cally - Maddie is no where near sitting either! I hope you got her to sleep.

Noni - Have fun at the gym!

Queenie - Wow so nice of the midwife to talk the birth over with you. I think I needed something like that. DP and I had a big talk though, and he went through things I couldnt remember with me. Talking really does make you feel so much better. How is S going with her clicky hip?

Hayley - Aw thanks I love the pic too (thought it was about time I updated), she has a bigger cleavage than mummy!Maddie only just fits in the sink!!! I really need to move her to the laundry or the actual bath. The kitchen sink is just so easy hehe! No I am planning on getting a bath seat soon.

Baby socks - Well done on the routine woo hoo!!

Agnes - I sympathise with you about daddy only seeing bubs early in the morning and late at night. It sucks for DP, he wishes he had more time with her. Will sounds like he is doing really well, yay a toothie!! Wow did you film Will's birth? How amazing! One thing I regret about my birth is that I never had photos of me labouring & walking up and down steps trying to bring on contractions. Next time I guess.

Has anyone's bub ever had like a rattling chest? Ha that sounds a bit strange, but for the past few days Maddie has been sounding a bit blocked up in the chest, when I put my ear to her back with each breath she sounds a bit rattly - like she has a cold. I can even feel it when I'm holding her. She doesnt have a runny nose, high temp and hasnt been upset so I'm wondering if the milk has just been collecting on her chest and making her gunky iykwim. Does anyone have any advice, should I be taking her to the doc?
