Jazmum - Wow grandma has lived a good life, making it to 95! The poor thing though, sounds like she is a bit over it now.

Noni - Thats great that your DP has found a good job!

Leanne - Oh I feel for you, I had a few nights bad sleep last week and its horrible. The stupid thing is you wind yourself up about it, 'omg I didnt sleep last night, tonight is going to be the same' etc etc and then of course you dont get any sleep. Its ridiculous!! Try reading before you turn out the light.

Marydean - Oh noo I'm scared haha. So I can expect Maddie to start waking during the night soon I guess, oh well I did have a feeling that this sleeping through wouldnt last lol.

Poor little Madeline has picked up a cold from I suspect another bub from mums group who had the same thing. She was up a couple of times last night as her nose was driving her nuts, I thought I was dreaming when I heard crying as she sleeps straight through (touch wood!!) I did have a feeling though that she'd be up a bit, as she wasnt a happy chappy when I put her to bed. What can you do for them when they have a runny nose?? I used the fess sucky thing but its horrible.

Hope everyone else is going ok, sorry for no personals but I have forgotten what everyone wrote!

LP hope you guys are all ok!

RORY's bottom left tooth has broken through whoohoooo! I didnt even know, it was the rosie cheeks that gave it away!

Hayley - I hope Maddie gets better soon xoxox Baby Balsam works wonders Give her a big cuddle from all of us!

JaZmum - My grandma was like that at the end too, just wanted to be with her husband in heaven. Although Im glad for your sake she is feeling better. Is she close to you? Will you be able to spend some more time with her??

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Dwayne has been away in Adelaide since Wednesday and im getting lonely now Will be back Monday though.

Jazmum - Do you know where you can buy those humidifier thingos? I guess we will be needing one anyone, especially seeing as Maddie is in daycare and winter is coming up.

Renee - Wow go Rory!! Has he been upset about it, or just the rosy cheeks? How exciting!! Do you get scared being home alone? I freak out lol. What is Dwayne doing in Adelaide?

    Hello lovely ladies!

Hi Noni, gosh you're making me think now re mod of the year. I *think* it was Dachlostar (Chloe) from memory. How bad is that LOL! I can't even remember.

Jaz, we're sharing identical lives ATM I think. I'm the same with not doing alot of the fun stuff with the kids lately as if I have more than one day out a week or something like that it's really hard to get back on top of everything. Its getting easier now that Lindsay and Erin are at school, but I still think 'oh, can't do that, I have washing/cleaning etc to do'. I think I am just gong to have to say bugger the washing and do more with the kids. not that they are complaining, but ykwim. I had a thought about Hannah too, have you tried bowen therapy? The chiro is good, but if she has a few tight muscles she would benefit more from using both chiro and bowen And thats such good news about your Grandma, but I can understand how she felt about it. MIL's aunt died just before Christmas and she was the same, just wanted it to be all over.

Renee & Gracie, WOW!!!!! about the toothie pegs. It puts so much into perspective when we have the benefit of hindsight once the tooth comes through. I reckon I would keel over from shock if Alister got one before 8mths. And Renee, don't feel bad about Rory's arm - he isn't going to remember it and it wasn't your fault hun.

Gosh, I read all the last thread but I haven't a clue what was said now.

Leanne & Cally, hopefully you can both start getting more sleep soon.

Marydean, I am so not looking forward to my girls getting all hormonal on me - Erin especially. DH joked that when that happens he is building us a menstrual shed up in our hill LMAO (he heard of a menstrual shed on this movie Ruby Ridge - a redneck in the US lived on this place Ruby Ridge and had some funny ideas about religion, was racist and was eventually gunned down along with his son in a stand off with the FBI and ATF. he built a menstrual shed for his wife and DD to live in while they had AF as they wree unclean during that time incase you have no idea what I'm taling about LOL)

Not much happening here. Kids are at the IL's with DH so its just Alister and I and he's in bed sleeping. I should be folding and ironing clothes, but I thought I would just pop on while I had no distractions. Alister has been quite hard to please lately and I'm thinking that he's just at that stage where he is frustrated with not being fully mobile. Erin was the same and she didn't settle until she started crawling. I have another busy week ahead too incase you don't see me - birthday party for Erin's friend after school, The Wiggles on Tuesday, MCHN on Wed and then out on friday for preschool.

    happy sunday ladies

renee- yah rory has a tooth as well! lewis' is bottom right. have you been giving rory anything to help with the pain? i was thinking of going up to the chemist later and getting some nurofen and bonjela or something. what are you going to do? i hate it when dp goes away for the weekend. do you get scared at night? i do.

hayley- awww poor little mads. lewis has the biggest boogas sometimes! i can't believe such a little man can produce such big snot!!

jaz- i'm sure you're still a fun mum! i have to take my hat off to you, i really don't know how you're doing it, and keeping your house clean! i only have one kid and 70% of the time my house looks like someone's had a party here! congrats on dh's grandma btw

noni- glad dp got a job. yah!!

leanne- maybe you need to have a big glass of red wine or a nice bailey's or something at 9.30 every night. seems to work for me

hi sherie - posting at the same time! i don't like the sound of that menstrual shed, but sometimes when i get af i wouldn't mind being locked away and not having to deal with any people. sometimes i feel like slapping total strangers across the face when i've got her! loL. i know what you mean about Alister being frustrated about not being mobile enough, i honestly think lewis has the same problem. he gets so frustrated when i try to just sit on the couch with him, he loves it when dp takes him out to the garage and he can watch the trees, dog, cars etc. he's such a boy!!!

Gracie - Oh how exciting, our boys are teething at the same time lol! I am going to get some bonjela today. He seems to be dealing with the pain really well....so far haha. But its only just broken through a tiny tiny bit so it could go down hill from here He got a bit grumpy when we were out at dinner last night so Dwayne's grandad took him for a walk around the front of the casino in his pram (he LOVES the lights) so I could have my sweets haha!
How is Lewis going with the pain?? I saw you met up with some of the girls from BB. Im VERY jelous!

Sherie - I should be washing & ironing too! Is nice having some you and Alister time? Are you going to a Wiggles Concert? Whaaa I bet the kids would LOVE That! Are they excited?

Hayley - How is Maddie going with teething?? Did any come through in the end? Dwayne is at the car races In Adelaide with his brother & dad. They DROVE there, I couldnt think of anything worse! Im doing better than I thought I would by myself, its just the nights that freak me out. I get my cats Milton & Archi to sleep on Dwayne's side with me haha.

I think im going to get out of the house today. Might go to the Marina for a cake & a coffee with bugga luggs! Hope everyone is having a great lazy sunday.

Renee - that sounds like a nice afternoon
sherie - you've made me feel better. Maybe we can make sure we do something fun each day - even if it means dancing around the kitchen like a silly woman
hayley - i got my humidifier from the local pharmacy - it's a Vicks warm steam vaporiser.
gracie - thanks sometimes i think i'm expecting too much of myself.
dh is home from a fishing trip - he's been away since Thursday, so i might get some time to myself this afternoon.

I hope K is teething because it would give her some excuse for her behaviour last night. Woke at 12:15 and was back asleep at 2:45!! Ridiculous. I was in tears and DH went and finally got her back to sleep. Thankfully she didn't wake again until 7:15, I had a morning nap and DH is having one now.

Jaz and Renee - I don't envy you with DH away, there is no way I would be coping at the moment by myself.

Oh, she's awake, will be back later for personals (hopefully)
