good morning everyone
i can finally catch up on some personals! dh has taken the girls into work and then onto the shops, and Hanny is asleep. Heaps of washing to do, but that can just wait
took notes yesterday and now i can't understand my shorthand!
pregpan - you have some great tips for everyone re flying - i like the idea of the toys on the string. I think we use the same recipe book for the baby food - so a question - for the beef casserole - do you make your own chicken stock or do you buy it? Hannah really likes the first chicken casserole.
Arte - i hope you had a great birthday on the 6th. Sorry i missed it!
noni - i'm glad dp is trying hard to help you. He obviously listened to what you had to say.
Rachael - welcome back!! looking forward to sharing the journey with you.
sherie - phew that you don't need to have something horrible done to your tooth. I hope the pain goes away quickly though. That was so cute about Erin hiding the present under your bed. Jess's school had a mother's day stall too , and i can't wait to see what she chose for me. In fact, i'm really excited about seeing what both girls have made for me at school. I would be happy just with those gifts
cally - that's great that Katie is self settling. I wish i could get hannah to do that again. It would make everything so much easier. I laughed out loud about your poor dh.
Renee - it's great news about your Aunt. Gave me goosebumps when i read your post. I hope you're feeling better today.
leanne - i love the photo of the kids. You did very well to get them all looking at the camera at the same time!
hayley - i hope you're feeling better today.
gracie - i'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new do. Hope you're feeling better today too - good luck on the trip to Sydney today.
md - Go Hannah!! I bet it brought a tear to your eye.
fianne - thanks for the tip re the huggies. and the other stuff. Unfortunately i won't be able to get to the factory outlet today. Will have to check it out though.
Hi agnes, clare and anyone else i've missed.
dh gave me an early mother's day present today. He got up early to Hannah - about 5am - and tried to settle her. He eventually got up and played with and he gave her some toast and changed her - made the girls their brekky too. I got to sleep in until 8:15!!! He's unwell too, so that was a big thing for him. (he reckons he brought forward mother's day, so i 'm not to expect the same deal for tomorrow lol)
when i went out to the kitchen, hannah crawled really quickly over to me, with a huge smile on her face . i picked her up and she threw her legs to the side and put her head straight onto my boob. classic.
i've started giving her one bottle of formula each day - and she loves it. She only drinks about 100mls - is that ok?
re talking - we'll be walking around the shops and she'll make singular noises - like "ba" or "uh", and i respond like we're having a conversation. (people must think i'm strange)
my sister is pregnant againshe is about 11 weeks. she's very anxious because of her previous miscarriage last year. I so want everything to be perfect for her. I have to be careful that i'm not giving out too much info to her. I just want her to be happy though.
sorry for babbling on so much.
hope you all have a fabulous day.
eta - i noticed that mbear was posting recently so i sent her a pm. she is doing really well, and is starting to find a little bit of time for herself.
