    Hi everyone
It's seems like it's been ages since i was last on, and i've missed you guys!!!
All my chooks are sick with runny noses and coughs, and i think i might be coming down with something too.
I've had a quick skim over the posts, and i just want to extend a warm welcome to [B][/BLil ]Rachee and Chepie. Looking forward to chatting in the future.
Leanne - i 'm so glad that Jordie's bowels are moving nicely. He must feel so much better.
sherie - i think i'll have to check out the article you're talking about with regards to Low GI foods. I too have dropped dinner the past couple of days - just gave Hannah breast milk as her nose has been too blocked to eat anything. She was waking once through the night which is great for her. Last night i gave her some chicken and vegies and she was so unsettled through the night. It could have been a number of things, but maybe the food contributed.

Hi to everybody else, am hoping to keep up this week.
Hannah has been standing without holding on - and she thinks she's fantastic. She's also got a new trick - opening the drawers in her room and pulling out her clothes!! (as if i haven't got enough cleaning up to do!) Last night I was sitting on the floor sorting the socks and undies and she dove head first into the washing basket. She thought that was heaps of fun!!
anyway best go and do some more ironing. (i hate ironing )

thanks for all your congratulations to lewis
gees once they move they really move don't they??? iykwim!!

well satc movie was a little disappointing, i have to say. i liked it but didn't love it iykwim? i don't think it was really anything too special.

tomorrow i'm hading to my friend's place and we have got the mobile dog washer coming over to give our dogs an extreme makeover. i can't wait, my dog smells so bad right now!!

arte- had to have a giggl at w's finger foods. i'm sure lewis has had a few of those foods too! this morning he had a leaf for breakfast lmao

Gracie, congrats to Lewis! I second what everyone else has said about how quick they get. I have heard that about the SATC movie too.

Marydean, how did you go finding the purple curtains for H's room? I got the Ezibuy home catalogue the other day and they had some gorgeous sheer purple and silver curtains and I though of you JIC you couldn't find any. If you like I can scan the article and email it to you?

Noni, fingers crossed on the rental front.

Leanne, that's great Jordy's having 'movement at the station' LOL. What have you got organised for a cake? when I brought a tin for Paige's birthday they had either the 3d lightening mcqueen tins or just a normal 2d one.

Arte, Alister would be flat to be 9kg ATM. He was 9.2 a few weeks back, but since he's had the runny nappies these past few days, I think he looks like he's lost a bit. He is heaps longer than Will though, so he is this long and skinny kid LOL.

Jaz, I have a mountain of ironing to do too, but I can only do it when Alister is sleeping or else he sits there trying to grab the cord

Hayley, I know why your nurofen measure is more - you have the child one don't you? The one I had was the infant 3-24mths one. I brought some today for Paige and it was 4ml for 8-10kg bubs.

I must admit I am loving getting all this sleep. We did have a wakeup just before 5am, but he had done a poo (well more of a fart that had follow through - he still has a runny bum) and when I put him back to bed he went right back to sleep and slept till 7.45am!!! So I was able to get the kids ready for school without him underfoot LOL.

Fianne, try not to worry too much about Max and her falls. She really wont do herself much harm, it might be bad at the time and she might have a few bruises, but its all part of their learning what their boundaries and abilities are. Alister has a new bruise every week and I'm sure people think I bash him LOL, but you can't be everywhere to stop them having falls, as much as we would like to be.

Sherie - I'm not sure, it says infants on the box? lol. All I know is that it works hehe! Thank you for the GI Info. Is Alister sleeping because you are following the PP guide?

Gracie - CONGRATS!!!!!!! Thats excellent news, go Lewis!

Jazmum - Oh no hope you manage to skip the bug that the kids have. Thats great that Hannah is standing, clever girl.

Leemar - The boys party sounds like heaps of fun but cant say I've ever heard of the car theme you are doing. Is it a kids tv show?

Arte - LMAO at the finger food, oh the joys!

Noni - How did the house hunting go today? MD's tip is a good one re the family tax payment! I must have missed it.

MD - Wow cant believe how fast E is progressing, she will be walking before you know it. Thank you for your GI info.

Clare - How far through your course are you?

    Pregpan & Renee come back!

Still no crawling here from Maddie, she seems happy to sit, and lunges forward occasionally. She gets frustrated at toys that are just out of reach so I guess eventually she will discover crawling. Also I can prop her up against furniture and she stays standing there for maybe 5 minutes, so her legs are getting stronger.

I scored an absolute bargain off someone's 'put out your junk on the front lawn' on Sunday arvo. We were driving through a rather affluent area and I noticed that one house had put a baby walker (not one that you sit in but one that the bub pushes along) out the front. So we stopped, much to DP's horror, and I grabbed it. It's in perfect nick and even plays songs and makes random noises. DP was horrifed, what a snob lol. I couldnt care less, they put it out there for someone to take!

i am sooooo sick of this weather!! bloody gloomy and rainy all the time.. makes it hard to get nappies dry too grrrrr..
looking at houses today really wanna get something before ashas birthday so i can just have the party in the backyard.. would make it so much easier! plus then if it rains theres the option of going inside...
haley - well done atthe baby walker.. i agree why not take it especially in such good condition.. the house hunting is going alrite thanks for asking.. i am looking at two houses today so fingers crossed we get something soon..
sherie - glad your getting some good sleep
gracie - oh i think we need the mobile dog washer to come to our place too this weather (been rainy here) is not at all helpful when you have a white dog!
jazmum - clever h with her standing up asha gets the same when i stand her somewhere would rather hold a toy than hold on and then falls over lol
leanne - do the boys know about their cars party or is it a surprise.. how exciting its cute when kids get to the age where they are excited about their birthday!

Hayley, LOL at you taking the walker and your DP being snobby. Thats the reason they put it out there. Friends of ours got boogie boards for their three kids that way the last time they were down in Melbourne. My sisters DP does it all the time in Melb too and he has brought home some great finds - one was a 68cm TV! I guess they traded up to a plasma and just tossed it.

Noni, fingers crossed that the housing fairies are looking down on you today IKWYM about drying nappies - when I used terry flats with Lindsay we didn't have a dryer then so it was hard sometimes to get them all dry. When you get your FTB supplement when your tax is done you should buy a dryer if you don't have one - I think most nappies can go into them?

Another good night here. I'm not game to reintroduce a dinner meal because he is sleeping so well and I don't want to jinx that. I didn't go to bed till nearly 1am and it didn't feel so bad to get up at 6.45 to get the big kids ready because I had a solid block of sleep.
