    hey everyone..
had a shocker of a night ive had about 3 hours sleep.. this morning i just let asha scream for about half an hour i just couldnt get up.. i feel bad about it but i just couldnt bring myself to go over to her cot because i was mad at her and had put her there earlier because she was laying in bed pulling my hair and smacking me in the face grrrr.. i know i am a bad mum and i know dp thinks it too when he comes in and i am only just getting her out of the cot after shes been screaming but ive just got nothing in me after that much sleep.. then i had her in bed with me after her bottle and i almost had her asleep and dp rings because his card was declined at the servo and he needs me to transfer money coz hes already put petroll in ughhh so now asha wont go back to sleep coz that woke her up..
shes been really difficult lately not interested in an afternoon nap anymore either but she gets really grumpy and wingy but nothing i do will put her to sleep.. on top of that shes about to grow out of her bouncer and thats the only place i can get her to have a morning sleep
i did read the last thread but i cant remember much of it lol..
strip washing is when you put your nappies in the wash and you use a small amount of dishwashing detergent in a hot or warm wash and do a couple of extra rinces at the end to get the bubbles out.. idk about clothes and stuff but my nappies came out smelling new again and they werent smelling overly pleasant i must say!!
sherie- i cant find the lint filter when shes not here because well someones always here! she works night shift so is here during the day and imagine if she woke up to me riffling through her stuff lol my dads home in the evening and he dosnt wanna be involved and i am sure wouldnt let me search for it either so i am kinda stuck.. it all came after a big power bill but the thing is wed hardly used the drier shes just crazy.. i had no idea about the family tax things at the end of the year.. when you say debtdo you mean tax debt?

    morning everyone
thankyou for all of your thoughts Unfortunately we had to put Chloe down last night
The vet believed she had pancreatic cancer and was very anaemic. He didn't think she would last throughout the night anyway. We all got to give her a cuddle and tell her how much we love her. My DH stayed with her and stroked her ears. It was so sad walking out to the kitchen this morning and not seeing her there waiting for us.

noni - sorry you had such a bad night last night. Don't feel guilty - i know i have been there before when Hannah was having horrible nights. I hope you can catch up on some sleep tonight.

Awww Jaz, I'm so sorry hun How are the girls handling it? I know what you mean about it being strange not seeing them there - my dog ahd tetanus a few years back and spent a few weeks at the vets and it wasn't right to go outside and not see her.

Noni, it happens to us all - there were a few times when Alister was at his worst during the night when I could have just left him to cry for a while. Not sure what you can do about the day sleeps though. With the family assistance thing, its not a tax debt, its if you get a FTB overpayment if you had underestimated your income for the year and were paid for FTB than you were entitled. If you didn't over-estimate your income and therefore have no 'debt' with them, then they pay you the supplement amount as a little bonus - which is basically part of your FTB payment anyway, but they withhold it JIC you do get a debt you aren't out of pocket as much having to pay it back kwim? And if you over-estimated your income for the year, you also get a top up payment because they didn't pay you enough FTB, so sometimes it can work out to be a lot. I am hanging out for it this year LMAO because we need a new stove and a new washing machine.

Leanne, I hope Jordy has a good day today

Well something has made Alister's eczema flare up again. I noticed it when he was in the bath last night and he hasn't had it for months. I had to put cream on it and I can't remember the last time I had to do that. I have no idea what it could be either because nothing has changed in his diet at all or even what I wash his clothes in hasn't changed either. It doesn't seem to be bothering him though.

grrr so asha goes to sleep just after ive had a v to wake myself up so i can look after her!!!
application for a house is going in this morning though apparantly the owner of this particular house is quite fussy because it was trashed by previous tenants so not sure how much chance we really have...
sherie - ohhh cool i think/hope we have over estimated because its hard to tell with dp working casual and a few different jobs. but they had an estimate for me too because i was recieving parenting payment but am not now because of dps new job so will be interesting! i wanna buy asha one of those little fold out lounges to sleep on during the day because i know she wont go to bed but have managed to get her to sleep on one of those at a friends place before.. problem is if we dont move there is no where here i can put one
leanne - fingers crossed jordy poos today! ashas havin a bit of trouble atm too
jazmum - sorry to hear about chloe, glad you got to give her some nice cuddles though.

    Hello!

    Hello all,
I have finally managed to post a greeting after Artichem suggested a couple of months ago that I come in and have a look ( I posted a bit of a despairing question in the relationships forum). I've just read through the recent posts of a few days ago; Georgie has been doing exactly what noni e was saying - up at different times every night, not going back to sleep, being inconsolable at times. Not getting much sleep and therefore my ability to cope with it goes down the tube. And it seemed to be getting steadily worse and worse. This morning though I've noticed her first teeth poking through! I'm sure this isn't the end of it though, but it IS a relief!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

Hi Suzie and welcome! It is so hard when you have no idea why they are waking so much and what other avenues you can take to try to fix it. at least you know that when a tooth pops through it seems justified kwim?

Woo look at me two posts in two days lol.

Suzie a big hello and welcome to you.

Cally HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I hope your having a wonderful day.

MD Happy Birthday to your H too.

    Clare Italian playgroup sounds great.

Pregpan don't you just love the stage they are at now, I have been telling my sister that she isn't going to want to go home after seeing how much fun L is now. Its why I haven't been on much, I spend so much time playing with him and being entertained by him... then when he is asleep I need a rest lol.

The weather is so crappy up here today I hate it. We have started some painting here, we are going to wrap all this years Christmas presents in L's home made paper, so far it isn't to messy but I have no doubt that will change. Better run and get some things done while DH is home to entertain L.

    Hi Guys!

Spoke to MCHN and she said Rory's behaviour is perfectly normal! YAY!!

Rory slept from 7:30 - 9:00am the other night! I just about had a heart attack when I woke up and he wasnt awake! I hope he doesnt do it again! This week he has cut his day sleeps down to one in the morning and one in the afternoon. He is a ball of energy now, constantly crawling around the house, bouncing in his JJ and bashing toys! He has a permanent smile on his face, he is just so darn happy!

Looking forward to mothers group now as there are lots more babies Rory's age. There are twins now too eeeep! The thing that bugs me is when the mothers dont supervise the older siblings they bring along! Last week a 5 year old boy was jamming Rorys fingers in the baby cubby house, the mother saw and did nothing! Arrghhh!

Oh and we are booking our holiday to Bali on Saturday, only staying 5 nights but we got a fantastic deal!

Happy birthday Cally!!!!!!!!! Thanx for the jaffa muffin recipe too hon! Between both BIL's, my mum, DH and me they lasted hmmmm 1 day!!! Im addicted!

Katie - What a fantastic idea! Whoa very creative I bet Lewis is having a ball. Im too much of a anal anne to do something like that haha. I need a kick up the bum! We are in the process of child proofing now, we just bought some wooden barriers to block the steps and kitchen. The plastic/metal ones were $90 PLUS so I got the cheapo ones for $25 but they dont have a gate.

Welcome Suzie! Looking forward to getting to know you and Georgie better (lovely name btw)

Pregpan - I thought it was a computer-life term haha, like 'iykwim' LOL! They are at a great stage arent they! I love it! It seems they are learning something new every day. Have you booked your Christmas Holiday????

Clare - italian playgroup, that sounds awesome!! Hope you have a great day!

Noni - Im still so excited for you I would so help you with the packing if I lived by you! I love packing and sorting, its so cleansing! I threw so much away when we moved a few years ago!! You were signing the lease today werent you?? Dont worry about Asha's bottles, Rory has gone through that stage too so has Maddie.

Sherie - Awwwww I wish I could see! I cant get over how active A is! Rory comando crawls everywhere and occasionally pulls himself up onto his knees.

Leanne - So glad Jordy is better. You brought a smile to my face when I read your post. You can relax now! How is DH feeling about his op??

Hayley - Pooor Maddie! How is she today? I cant even imagine how you must of felt taking her up to the hospital Hope your okay xxx What porridge do you give Maddie??

MD - Happy Birthday to H!!!!!!! Was her party this weekend???? I bet she is going to have a ball

    _________________________________

Oh god! I was vaccuming and Rory was next to me as he likes to chase the vaccum (I cant remember if thats how you spell vaccum!!!!!!) around. I dont know how but I managed to knock my beautiful purple vase off the entertainment unit and it missed Rory's head by mm! Glass went everywhere and do you know what I said.....'dont move Rory', I must have rocks for brains!! Between that and his fat lip from face planting it into the carpet when playing with his Uncle I feel awful!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh I dont know what to do, Maddie just wont stop coughing. Its worse at night. She has been having coughing fits and just cant seem to stop. Last night was a shocker and tonight wont be much better, I can hear her coughing away now. Poor things throat must be red raw as she wont take a bottle or food without a dose of panadol first. Its a very nasty bug this one, I am sick now too, my whole body aches & I feel like I have no energy at all. I cant even run my fingers through my hair because it hurts!! I tell was struggling big time with looking after Maddie today - I feel very naughty because it was pretty much a tv day, with Hi 5 on repeat all day. I rarely use the tv so feeling a bit guilty. Ahhh mothers guilt does it ever end!?

Renee - There are a couple of older kids at my mothers group too and they seem to be a little outta control, with no limits from mum. I wonder where the discipline is too, but maybe we will be in the same boat when our littlies are older. Maybe sometimes you just give up and let a few things slide? I dont know lol.

Clare - Italian playgroup sounds wonderful, I dont think we have anything like that in Perth. I'll ask my DP, he would love for Maddie to have a bit more Italian influence in her life.

Cally - Happy birthday hope you got spoilt rotten! Oooh cant wait for you to open your pressie, how sweet is your DH!?

Katie- Love the painting wrapping paper idea! You should wrap pressies for the grandparents in it too, they would love it.

Suzie - Welcome! Yes we've had a few nights of crying and wondering what is it thats upsetting her, only for a tooth to appear the next morning. It all makes sense then doesnt it.

Noni - They do put a notice on the door but seeing as Maddie is only there two days we would have missed it anyway. Ah well what can you do, at least we know what it is now. Bet you are excited about moving, what does your dad think? Is he sad to know that you guys will be going and taking Asha (obviously lol)?

Pregpan - We are going through the nice stage with Maddie lately too. They love being nakie dont they!
