Thank you xox for letting me get it out here. You Ladies are AWESOME.

Yes I do live on the same prop as a friend of mine but she has a toddler that they boys aren't allowed near until their rash has at least cleared.
Sometimes I ring my nan but she is away looking after a friend of hers that has recently had an op.

Now that both boys have finally settled I'm going to go thro myself into some cleaning.

    bbl

    thx again

    Hey everyone!

Andie, I was only thinking about you the other day and how you hadn't been on for a while. I'm really sorry that things are getting on top of you and that you have no one to help you through this But it will pass, trust me OK? Nothing you could do at this stage would make any difference to how they are acting, so you're not a bad mummy, just one who's overtired and worn out and needs a bit of TLC of her own. How about tomorrow you take them to a park or something and just let them run around, get them out in the fresh air - it will do you good too. Take a bite to eat for morning tea and make a picnic out of it.

I can't remember a thing that was said in the last thread now LOL.

They are all such a delight now at this age aren't they? They are absorbing everything around them and the stuff that Alister does just astounds me, I don't know if it is 100% due to having so many older siblings to learn from or if it is just him kwim, but he's just wonderful (testing at times but mostly wonderful)

I suppose it wont be long and we'll be trying to decide what to get them all for Christmas.

Oh, I remember one thing from the last thread - MD, you're a lush! LMAO. Good for you on letting your hair down and enjoying yourself and having adult company. The trip away sounds fab too.

AFM, been busy as usual. Paige has this cough thing and its just wrecking her ATM, she's exhausted from being up and down all night with coughing fits. She skipped preschool on friday cause she was just too run down to go. I've been in a baking frenzy though and I love it! It's been so long since I've been able to bake anything cause even when we had the old stove it was never good for baking biscuits because the heat wasn't even enough, but the new one does them perfectly. I have a batch of m&m cookies in now. It is just sooo good to pack homemade biscuits in their lunchboxes instead of brought ones. Although I am out of eggs so I am googling egg free recipes LOL. I even lashed out and brought myself a set of cake tins to store them all in as the one I had was too small and they don't keep very well in plastic containers. They are really pretty ones too - it was a set of 3 from maxwell williams and they are different sizes. Only cost $35 too, so I was happy with that. I also splurged on some new cookie cutters and other utensils.

Andie, big hugs for you. Please dont feel that way, you are a fabulous mother & a great role model for your boys. I really feel for you, being a single mum is hard work but in the long run as the boys get older things will get easier for you. Just hang in there. Do you have any family support nearby? I dont know what the situation is with your XP but can he take the boys for a few hours? Also I totally second what Trillian said about going to a park, I did that with Maddie today and she just ran around and ran around with the other children and had a ball. I had a minor meltdown this arvo hehe so it does do you good to get out.

Trillian - My MIL often says she thinks my DP is so smart (he really is a smartie my man) because he had older siblings constantly stimulating him from a young age, so I'm sure the same is applying with Alister. It makes sense doesnt it?

Falguni - Wow time is flying with your pregnancy, you'll have another babe in your arms before you know it.

Clare - lol thats too cute! (L saying her name)

Arte - Isnt it funny how they love playing under the blankets. I've made a few cubby houses around the house now, M loves them.

Hello to everyone else, Rainy put your feet up & relax after your hectic day!

Just about to go watch 'the painted vail', someone at work told me it was good so I got it out at blockbuster today.

Evening, was hoping to be in bed b4 now but hey.
I've just finished scrubing the fridge, the freezer door, the floor under the fridge & freezer doors, the cupboards, the bench & the dishes.
Now I'm having my Toffee Choc hot drink & thinking bout bed.

They are all such a delight now at this age aren't they? They are absorbing everything around them ...
I totally agree. Jack loves to copy Alex.
Jack & I were sitting at the dining table today, side by side, when Jack climbed onto the table, crawled across it, taped keys on the laptop, then crawled onto my lap for a cuddle.
I have witnessed him climb onto the dining table chair, onto the table, crawl across it & down onto the lounge.
Jack isn't walking as such as yet however, I have counted 7 steps (today actually) from him.
He shoves my nose into my face & says "nose".
He's starting to say "yes" to questions. I'll have him & he'll point to a the kitchen & I'll ask "do you want a drink" & he'll say "yes".

Thank you to everyone for your support. It is appreciated & it makes such a difference. Hopefully 2nite we will get some sleep.

    thank you again.

The funny thing is, before I found out about the infection the boys had & having to keep them home, is I was feeling really great about life here as a single mum with my boys. Funny how things can turn. Being a depressive prob doesn't really help. I just want that confidence back.

well, i'm off to bed .. nite nite ... sleep well my sweets

Well after all that cleaning Andie, you deserve two Choc Toffees LOL. At least no matter what tomorrow brings you have a clean kitchen - I know I always feel better when I have a clean kitchen. The rest of the house could look like a bomb hit it but so long as the kitchen is clean I'm happy. I suppose it's because the kitchen is often the heart of the house kwim?

H, It's been sooo long since I've hired a DVD. It's just too much effort when you live out of town and you have to make sure it gets back the next day and all the weekly hire ones are really old and have already been on TV anyway. I tell ya what, if that's the case about being smart, then my boy is going to be of Mensa quality genius LOL.

Awww Clare, how cute is that! Do you have it on video?

ETA, Hi Kate! yep, definately sleeping with the av maker I don't mind you getting the ticker - it is pretty cute isn't it? It was from tickerclub (you know the drill )
its straight to toys and girls clothing.
Ain't that the truth? LOL Although I am getting better at bypassing it to look for Mummy things. And V exciting about the house too. Great to hear that she went OK with her needles too. I would get the trampoline - Alister can get up on ours (we have a huge rectangle one and we have a set of steps the kids use) and he loves it. He doesn't jump, but he sits there and bounces on it.

    Hi girls
Trying to catch up here so sorry if I miss anyone.

Ozstar - Yeh, the doctor thing was him prescribing me the normal pill now (even though I told him I'm still breastfeeding). I think I boohoo'd about it in the general thread. He's on holidays so I took the letter in and gave it to the practise manager. She listened as I told her and agreed that the doctor should have accepted my choice but she didn't seem 'surprised'. Like he must be notorious for his non-breastfeeding-past-12-months stance. Will be interesting to see if anything more comes of it.

Sherie - Rory and I got our wills done recently. Went to the public trustee and got it done. Was hard to have to think about all the possibilities and what-ifs in regards to Sarahs custody if anything happened to us. As for your av...*wolf whistle*...you must know someone who does great av work. I'd even go so far as to say that you might have even slept with them to get such a great av. Where'd you get that awesome ticker from...? I love the way it has the age A is now and the countdown to his next birthday. Mind if I get one too...?

Andie - from all of us to you. I hope that you get a bit of a break some how. Forget the cleaning and just look after yourself and your boys. You are doing a great job but if you don't look after yourself then you run the risk of being too rundown to be much good at all.

Claire - Hows your Oma? I hope she is feeling better.

Rainy - How'd your lunch go? It's funny how people that you would never really get to know end up being great mates once circumstances change.

Fal - OMG about the spiders. I'd be hiding if I saw too many . 1 or 2 is okay but argh...no thanks. How'd you go with the pest guy? Did he figure out what they are? And on L being fascinated with one. Sarah wanted to play with a harmless little huntsman and cracked a tanty when I grabbed her off the floor.

MD - Hows life being just a mummy and not mummy and daddy going? Did you have a great 'date' night? I PMSL at the short term alcoholic line. The trip away sounds like heaven...you definately deserve it.

MM - Congrats on the dress...such a great feeling to know that the 'major' decision is over with. I felt like anything else could not turn out and I'd be okay but the dress was special. Had to be perfect. I can't wait to see pics of it...any chance you could sneak a couple on here?

Art - William is just too cute...just want to eat him up. Such a clever little man to know so many words and understands heaps more. And OMG...so cute on the little tents and teepees out of blankets

PP - Congrats to N for speaking a second language...it does count you know. I'm trying to get Sarah to say 'Bula' (Fijian greeting) in time for our trip next year.

AFM. Well S had her needles on Friday and took them pretty well. Hasn't had any reaction (touch wood) and seems to have coped better than the other ones. I've only gave her some Dimetapp that afternoon once we got home and none since. Got her weighed and shes 9.2kg. Doctor seemed happy with her so
We also went shopping today as DH had a day off work for a change. Went into Kmart and found some of the cutest outdoor stuff for S. A slide, picnic table and a water/sand table. All for under $120. Bargain. Also grabbed a FP Press N Go Train for $10!!! Well grabbed two actually...one for Sarah and the other as a gift if needed. And got the spoilt little monkey a little blow up pool/ball pit thing with balls for $20. I'm happy with the spoils of my shopping trip. Of course, nothing for me. Hardly even look these days...its straight to toys and girls clothing.
Oh, and we might have a house. Find out for sure in a few days once the checks are done but it looks promising. Can't wait to get out of this nuthouse. MIL is driving me mental. Shes insisting on buying S a trampoline (4.5 feet with the sides) for christmas. I just don't think that Sarah will use it that much as can't jump. I'd rather she got a plastic cubby house thing instead. Thats just one of the many things shes said/done thats p!ssed me off. Latest comment was 'shes getting too big to be breastfed now, you won't be able to do Tupperware if you're still feeding' um, hello...I was doing it from when Sarah was 4 months old. I just worked it around her. Anyhoo, not going stress about MIL...not worth it.

    Okay...long post over...night girls
