Yay for the cool change coming through Clare, I hope you get it soon Rainy. I was just looking at the temps at the airport there and it didn't look like it had come through as it was still over 30, but when you started at 46, that is a cool change!!

MM - 10 days is a while, but I reckon she will be fine. As to the food, one night of her bouncing off the walls after they dose her up with sugar and they won't be doing it again!! Anyway, if she is there that long I would be very surprised if they fed her rubbish the whole time. I'd give them some menu plans, ie what she normally eats each day for brekkie, lunch and dinner. Did you talk it through with the hairdresser afterwards? Can you make some changes?

Well I am currently wondering where DH is. No phone call. And of course he doesn't believe in mobiles so I can't call him. He headed off to cricket, muttered something about the new maths teacher having some people around, but he wouldn't be going because he would be all yucky after cricket. He is usually very thoughtful and freaks out if I am 15 minutes home and yet does this every now and then - super frustrating. Might just go to bed and leave the monitor on his side as a reminder for whenever he does get home that it's my sleep in turn tomorrow!
