Its such a full on age. Are you going to do it? This is why in a way I am relieved to be leaving Maddie home on our honeymoon, I can just imagine her on the plane....oh my goodness.

Hey everyone!
We don't have much trouble out in public with tanties, he's thrown the occasional one, but for the most part he's co-operative. He gets antsy and starts up with a constant 'go go go go go' when the stroller is stationary for too long, but I've started to let him walk beside me and for now he does OK - I say 'for now' cause that's likely to change ROFL and never in the supermarket! The tanties at home are a totally different story. he's started to refuse going to bed at night, even though he's dog tired, so I have to keep him up till 9-9.30 or later and then pop him in and he doesn't carry on for as long before he falls asleep. He doesn't cry, but just yells out.
With the cooler weather I've been hooking in and sorting out everything we have stored - I gave 7 bags full of clothes to St Vinnies today (our local one was taking a heap of stuff down to VIC) and threw out a heap of stuff that we kept, but can't remember why it was so important at the time to keep a stereo that didn't work, a vacuum cleaner that was broken and all sorts of other things ROFL. I have so much space now to store stuff!
Arte, glad to see you back online and settled into the new house! I hope this is the LAST time you have to move for a long long time.
MD, will be thinking of you tomorrow and I'm sure everything will go smoothly and you'll have a good recovery.
MM, Maddie sounds like such a groover! I had a practice hair and make up done the day before my wedding - they made the front of my hair into a huge 3 inch wave on one side and were very heavy on the blush and blue eye shadow! When I was allowed to put my glasses back on to see it I could barely speak - I looked like a cheap 80's hooker! When I said I didn't like it they got cranky with me, they were nowhere near as friendly and didn't spend as much time on the actual day but it looked ok in the end.
MD, good luck!! Hope there is an appropiate amount of chocolate waiting for you when you wake up. I would take a squealing BURDie over the embarrasment of walking through the supermarket bakery section with W yelling BUM BUM BUM (bun) constantly lol
Rainy love, I hope you are doing o.k. Try not to stress about bub not being engaged - post a question in the preg section and you will get a million stories of babies that don't engage until labour. It is a good idea to get your irreplacables out of the house, hope you can relax a bit this weekend. Is there somewhere close that you could try a bit of relaxation/labour prep accupunture? Or a massage? I know you have such a big heart and I can imagine how much the bushfires are upsetting you but you need to try to find some sort of calm within yourself so your body feels it is safe for your new bubba to come out (Arte's crackpot theory of birthing - animals in nature won't birth for as long as possible if they feel stressed/threatened)
Hey Arte- The corn off is all over, no winner! Ours was cooked on the plant. ;) GIve you another challange next year.
Hi girls!
first and foremost...i guess those fires are close (healesville?) cause we are in a blanket of smoke and have the eerie orange light thing happening.
rainy: are you guys on alert or anything?
MD: what kind of bunny rabbits do you have? LOL! scary ROARING ones....!!
ALSO: just wanted to send you loads of good luck vibes for today....:goodluck::goodluck:
Arte: that is so cute with W sleeping with the tools! LOL! And look, a girl likes a boy who can fix stuff...so you are setting him up well! LOL!
Ange: i was just thinking about the famous corn-off this morning! i think laying down the challenge is exciting...maybe i'll join in the ranks...if DH will let go of his tomatoes that is...
MM: oh yeah we get the PT (public tanties) thick and heavy here. in fact, i think leila accrues all of them specifically for public. at home she is more pliable but not when we are out. and yep, we do the elbow in the groin to get into the car seat/pram/highchair...
leila tends to do the drop. she'll just collapse the legs and 'dramatically' spin herself in the air to land on her side. this is her fav tactic when i am holding her hand so she can do this rather theatrical hanging in the air trick...
i just dont pay it though. i usually look at her and keep on truckin'. my mum calls it my 'mother russia' move LOL!
AFM: well i am still not 100% and bummed about it. but i dosed up on nurofen last night as our mums group had a girls night out and there was no way that i was missing it. great night too. although walking through the streets of brunswick at midnight and slightly tipsy is not much fun when you are alone. saw one guy being carted off in the paddy wagon and 'chromer lady' was doing the rounds (she is a local institution...at an open for inspection last week she passed out at the front door so everyone had to step around her...the house didnt sell funnily enough).
also the smoke here is getting stronger. i can only imagine how it is for those further out like rainy. but we are inner-city here, so didnt expect it to travel that far.
the smell still gives me shivers of the time we were stuck under a concrete bridge for 4 or so hours in the gosford fires a few years back.
Morning Girls,
MD- Good Luck today and I will be thinking of you.
Art- Good to hear the move went well.
Talking- Livi is talking more and more every day and its very cute. I am sure she will be like Xavier and never stop. OMG I am sure that boy can talk under water...lol
Rainy- I am getting really really excited for you and actually I am so excited for all you ladies that are PG how truley wonderful.
AFM- I got the cold again and my nose is a tap. Still have heaps of work to do and my house is like a bomb has gone off in it. The boys are getting there much in need hair cuts on sat but I am holding out for livi. Going to try and have a very relaxing weekend after I clean the house...lol....
Well better go and do some work.
Ange- HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR YESTERDAY... HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD DAY.:happybirthday:
hi girls, still here, still pg
i was wondering where noni has been lately. anyone know?
thanks so much for all your concerns about me. we are not on any type of alert or anything, so looks like we're safe for now. i'm finding it very hard to relax though.
arte- after i read your post, i just rang up about acupuncture. i left a message so hopefully they can do something tomorrow? that would be great. thanks for all your support. i wouldn't come out right now either if i was this baby. it's very stressful circumstances and dh is giving me the absolute ****s atm.
md- best of luck for today and hoping for a quick recovery.
mm- i wonder what your sickness could be. kinglake is not that far from melbourne, i don't know for sure (ange would know a lot better than me) but i would guess about 60km?
i'll keep you all updated with any news, i'm still feeling really down and out about everything. last night i had a horrible dream that dh went to jail for 2yrs for the assault charges, then i got woken up at 4am by the fire warning alarm going off.
Rainy- you sure need heaps of hugs love.
Rainy you poor love, I am sending you loads of really squishy hugs. I hope you got in to acupuncture.
MD thinking of you today, hope all goes well.
Leanne I hope you feel better soon.
Clare I hope you get better soon too.
I feel so icky today, MS is horrible, it isn't as bad YET though as it was with L.
Shopping ... Jack is pretty good thought lately I turn around to catch him climbing from the seat into the back of the trolley!
Had Alex's ADHD app't this morning ... he's too young to be tested for the attn side of things but as for the hyperactive side of things ... I answered yes to all the Q's & he's "text-book" hyperactive ... he's hasn't been put on the standard type of drugs (thank god cause I wasn't too keen on them) but has been given another one to be issued at nite to hopefully get him to sleep better. Have another app't in 6 mths.
We then got side tracked & went shopping (instead of me coming home to clean). It was a nice day, just the two of us.
Jack had his first nite in his toddler bed last nite. took me 45mins to get him down to sleep though, but then he had a restless few hours till he crawled in with me & cuddled for hours watching MASH.
Gonna get Alex some arvo Tea & make me a coffee ... ttyl
edited to say ... ps. we aren't having visitors this weekend, apparently the roads are too "fkd" to come down ... wanted to come next week. had to say no cos my sister will be coming up from adelaide on sat for a few days.
andie: how come the roads aren't good?
i didnt realise that you had concerns about jack and ADHD. i hope that they can give you some answers.
Rainy: am thinking of you sweet. tough times...where are you meant to be having bubs (ie out of fires way?) or are you home birthing? sorry cant remember...i'm sure you mentioned it...
Oz: did you get icky m/s with L? hhope this bubba is a bit more gentle LOL!
yeah i was wondering about Noni too! hope she is ok...
Noni: where are youuuuuu?????
AFM: all good here. still sick, so thats a bummer but getting by. the smoke over us has not abated.
went and bought DH a valentines today. this will be our first as a married couple and with a kidlet. so although we dont nomally celebrate it, i felt that this was special. went to koko black and bought the most tacky chocolate couple holding a love heart today...te he he soooo awesomely tacky it aint funny.
hi ladies,
a wet afternoon here - wish i could send it down South.
rainy - are you ok? noticed your fb status. I'm pretty sure why i know you're upset, but just wanted to check that nothing else has happened.
clare - you're a nice wifey. :) I bought dh a new belt and some Bed Hair - to keep his 'do' in place. ( god i hope you know what i mean!)
andie - Have you ever checked out Sue Dengate's 'fed up with food additives' website. It has lots of fantastic information. Great news that you get to have the weekend to yourself now.
oz- ms is no fun- especially when you have a little one to look after.
Rainy, I feel so bad for you atm. When does your DH go to court? If he writes a letter to the judge explaining where you live and offering to do some Saturdays of bushfire clean-up they might let him do that instead of a fine, at least that way he is helping out? Did you get an accupunture appointment?
Oz, MS is the pits. I have been really lucky this time, I have felt a bit average but nowhere near attempting to spew out my spleen like last time.
Ange, we will corn-off again next year, I have put in an order for a bit more rain and a bit less catastrophe! I have been wanting to write something in the other thread for you, something inspirational and helpful but I just don't know what to say. I can't even imagine how difficult things are for you at the moment, I wish I could do something practical to help you out. How is your DH going with the stock?
MD, hope you are in a happy drug induced daze eating as much chocolate as your DH could supply
Clare, sounds like you found the tackiest valentines present ever! How is everything going with DH now? Have you been to the fancy new psychiatrist yet? You are more than welcome to join the next corn off, next time someone might actually get some corn lol
I suspect my new baby is going to be a health nut! I feel sick if I eat greasy food and *crying a little bit* chocolate!!!
hi girls!
JaZmum: ROFL...i had to giggle at that a little bit!
i think i have forgotten what rain actually is...it's wet right?
MD: mmmmm chocolate.....mmmmm
Arte: things with Dh are back on track (yay!). we have been seeing my psychologist together for couple work and it has been amazing.
i wouldnt count on my corn actually working! DH and i have had trouble adapting to a terrace lifestyle. the soil here is shot and full of building debris from the 1800s. but bit by bit we are building it up thanx to the handy work of our worm farm...
AFM: well leila came home with the runs today. (yay for us ) the poor wee thing had a bath and was doing a nudey rudey through the house and then BANG she had her big poop accident. i felt so terrible for her as she was mortified and tried to run away from me and was crying and trying to clean it up herself. i dont know why she reacted like that, but i guess she is really developing a sense of self about that kind of stuff...dunno... how would you guys read that?
so tonight she demanded to go to bed at 6.30pm, refused to eat and didnt even take her bottle of milk. i feel terrible as now my baby hasnt eaten anything and has gone to bed hungry.
Rainy: you're a girl who likes retail therapy....i have found the BEST site for bubby clothes in like ages!! called eternal creations. the clothes for boys are just the sweetest!! and it's all fairtrade and the like....i think i will have to splurge for Leila this winter!!
Clare - how is Leila's nappy rash? could it be that it hurt and she didn't want you to touch it? I wonder if it hurt while she was having a nappy change at daycare? Has she got some big teeth coming through? Hannah has had the same thing and her molars are coming through.
arte - i wish i felt off after eating greasy food and chocolate....might help me to stick to my diet:rolleyes:
Finding the words in a crappy situation isn't my forte Arte, so don't worry, i'm right there with ya. Just knowing you are thinking of me is more than enough. So thanks. ;) You put a simle on my face witht he new corn off challange, that is more than i can ask for.
I havn't read any posts really, but i will as soon as i can concentrate for longer than a few minutes. Thanks to all of you for your words of support. It helps more than i can tell you.
Clare:
No idea about the roads but I do know he doesn't use the coastal road until Grafton. He comes own the middle between the coast & the new england.
Alex & ADHD but by looks of things, Jack mite have to be checked over. Their D/C mum is a bit concerned for Jack. It does run in our family though.
Noni is around, she was on f.b earlier.
Jazmum .. never heard of it. Do you have the website handy? Mite google it shortly.
As soon as I got the txt I could feel the stress & tension leave my body.
Didn't get far ... googled it & found a site ... There is a talk in Alsonville on the 16th March & I'm bummed. Would be interesting to have gone & Alstonville is great as that is whre my mum lives :( Will just have to read it now
Arty  o no on the chocolate, i can't live without it at times. Hope you are feeling good otherwise.
AFM: I"m sitting in Jack's room w8n for him to go to sleep. he loves this new found freedom & I want to do deal with it calmy so I'm trying what I can ...
Picked Jack up from d.c this evening ... the mum was telling me he chucked a wobbly for nearlly 3 hours after I left, making himself sick numerous time (shoving fingers down throat) & bashing on things. I didn't think he would be that bad. Really need to do something bout getting him used to Alex not being around all the time.
Hi guys just a quick one to say that it took me forever to catch up with everything.
Wanted to say congrats to Arte and Katie and best wishes to Ange and Rainy
All going okay here, Sarah is cracking tanties left right and centre as well as getting into everything. Her words are really non-existent but she understands heaps. I think shes also getting her eyeteeth...on second thoughts thats probably the reason for her 'painfulness'. lol
Hope MD went well today and that everyone is going well :D
Ohh Rainy wish I could give you a big hug. Did you get an acupuncture appt? Just in case I dont get the chance to say it beforehand, good luck with the birth I'm sure you will breeze through it. We are all so excited for you. Please dont be sad, I know with everything thats going on around you atm its hard not to be, but think of the precious gift you are about to be given. This should be an incredibly happy time for you. You are so lucky!
MD - Was thinking of you today, hope the op went well.
Kate - Hi & wb! We have eye teeth coming through atm too.
Andie - Sorry to hear about the ADHD, hope they can give you some more answers and ways of dealing with it.
Falguni - Still thinking of you!
Clare - Ohhh poor bubba, is she teething atm, could that be the reason for the yucky poos? I wonder if it was embarrassment, or maybe even like Jazmum said she was scared of having her bottom cleaned due to the rash?
Arte - LMAO at you looking like an 80's hooker on your wedding day, what a disaster, did it upset your day at all? This is why we are doing our own makeup, but hair is a bit trickier! Ohhh well maybe not being able to eat bad foods is a good thing, I was terrible for chocolate with Maddie. Just think of all the extra weight you wont gain hehe.
Oz - Hope the ms doesnt get too bad...
Trill - I was showing DP your place on google earth. Some days we would love to live that kind of a life too. It must be so great to have a huge place, out there on your own. I'd love to live in the country one day.
Jaz - lol at the bed head to keep the do in place, dont worry I know what you mean ;)
Leemar - O sounds like she is doing well with her talking. Are you getting back into the flow of working yet?
We've had 3 yucky nappies this arvo, a terrible nappy rash & a slight temp....would you all put that down to teething?
MD how did the Op go? I hope that when you jump back on your consuming copius (sp) amounts of Haighs.
MM sounds like teething to me. L is teething too and I have had to nurse him to sleep almost every night this week.
Kate good to see you.
Andie poor Jack thats sounds awful.I would have thought the carer would call if he was that upset???
Ange glad you popped in. Hows Miss Lu doing?
Oh Clare poor L sounds like she might have a tummy bug or teething?
Arte all I want to eat is junk, greasy junk. DH and I had a spat about my terrible eating habits tonight, it is the first and last time he will argue with me about food while I feel like crap let me to tell you lol.
I am feeling better now, seems to be bad in the morning, hangs around all day and worse in the evening before dinner. At least I havent had to make friends with the toilet yet. I guess I should go and get ready for bed, I feel like such a nanna lol.
Katie - Congrats!! Very exciting news. Tell DH that your body is telling you what it needs and that's what you will eat.
Arte - oh no, don't feel like chocolate!
Rainy - hugs out to you at the moment.
she just woke up, better go.
ETA -
MD - I hope everything went well yesterday
Ange - Happy Birthday for Thursday. Let us know if you decide to celebrata again when you're more in the mood for birthdays.
MM - hope you feel better soon, wonder what it could be? Have you been to the docs yet?
Andie - sorry your ex didn't make it down for you to talk. At least you didn't rush around cleaning for them and can do it in your own time.
Hi girls!
Ange: dont worry! we understand that things must be whirling around you atm. we'll be here forever and always with open arms when you are ready to BB again like there is no tomorrow! ;)
Andie: oops sorry, got the wrong kid! Thats the prob when my brain doesnt work! (like always).
ah i guess they must be doing road upgrades...always the case with the inland roads up there, and yet it never seems to get better.
oh bummer about poor jack. i guess this will just take time and lots of cuddles at d/c for him to transition to this new situation.
JaZmum: you could be on the money there...she did do a runny number about 30 minutes later. so maybe her tummy was upset. the girls at kindy told me that she had a 'loose' poo...whatever that's meant to mean! is it runny or not? urrrghhh
and i *think* it is related to teething. i can see a molar busting to get through and two eye teeth...poor wee thing.
Oz: that was how i felt with Leila. when i woke up it would be gross then kind of fade to a general 'turn off' during the day and then whack me in the evening. hope that it passes in good time and order!
MM: No rash. but later that night she did have the runs once. so i think that maybe she was a bit freaked by the impending poo! poor thing though i felt so bad.
normally i would say yeah it's teething, but the fever is something to question that. maybe she has something similar to you (unless your pg!!! LOL!).
Kate: we are the same here. not many words but the comprehension is amazing. one thing that i am perplexed about is that the majority of her words are the italian ones. so weird as i thought the english would win through as i *think* we speak that more often. so strange...
AFM: still all good here. leila had a some runs last night but appears to be over it and woke up ravishingly hungry after going to bed without ANY food or drink!! and she back to being happy go lucky again.
one new thing that she has started is to come into our room when i am still snoozing (DH does the morning duty) and she'll crawl into bed with me under the covers and we'll have a small cat nap together or simply just a lie down where she cuddles me for 20 or so minutes. i just love it! especially now that the b/f is over and i dont have that quiet one on one time much anymore IYKWIM.
So what was it I was saying about not tantruming in public? Well it sure came and bit me on the ass yesterday I can tell you LOL! Lindsay had an opthamologist appt yesterday and I had to take Pand A with me cause DH had to go to a funeral and I didn't have anyone else to look after them at short notice and OMG he laid it on. He was still happy enough to sit in the stroller, but just crying or squealing or yelling the whole time with impatience. Even when we went and had lunch he carried on for a bit until he got some OJ in his cup and then refused to eat any lunch. But it did make me feel better when a lady was leaving and she told me I had gorgeous children and she couldn't believe how well behaved they were! I almost said, 'well lady, you sure must have seen some shockers in your time' ROFL. L and P were fine, but just The Boy. Once we got home he was fine of course. But right now he's sitting here with the poos cause he can hear DH on the motorbike and he wants to go with him, so he has a thong in his hand wanting me to put it on - nevermind that he's wearing trackies and socks
So anyway L's appointment went well - he now has 20/20 vision in his right eye and his left isn't quite there. So we've got a new prescription for weaker lenses for his left eye (they were a +7.5 and now we're down to a +6.0). So he'll never be a pilot, but he wont ever have a problem with driving or anything like that.
Hmmm is it our rainy who has welcomed the valentines day baby??
LOL Trill, had to have a giggle at that!
I know who it is and it's not our dear G ;) but I'm not fessing up *mwa-ha-ha*
Wasn't going to post but decided I will. I am off to the Dr shortly, have been bleeding and cramping all morning. Fingers crossed all is still good.
Oh Sh it Katie! I hope it's all going to be fine
oh katie i hope it's ok
what's this about me having a valentine's baby? think i might call him romeo LOL
Oh Katie thinking of you, hope its nothing. I had cramping & bleeding with Maddie too so I'm sure its just something similar.
Rainy - There's a post in birth announcements today, a mystery mama has had a v day baby & I was wondering if it was you. Obviously not! lol. Hey I love the name Romeo, but I dont know if I'd be brave enough to choose it.
i wish it was me!
nah, we've spent today setting up lewis' bed, cleaning the house, getting prepared for little romeo. i'm in the middle of packing my labour bag. 000 wondersuits are so small, i can't believe it!
I am back. Dr wants me to go and have bloods done today and Tuesday to check HCG levels but all Pathology labs are closed already. I am going to go and see my regular GP tomorrow morning and see what he says. I have an ultrasound booked for Tuesday and was meant to have the full bloods done then anyway. I only went today as DH is freaking out lol. The bleeding has stopped and the cramping isn't to bad. At the moment I am not to worried and am just making DH wait on me hand and foot ;)
Rainy Romeo is so cute. 000 clothes are just adorable arent they. Let us know how L goes in his big bed.
Trillian had to laugh at A, always seems to be the way when we say our child isn't doing something...bam they start.
They are aren't they? You get them all out and you can't believe that they ever fitted into them *sigh*
Katie, glad you're home and resting up. That's about all you can do at this stage. I hope that it all settles down for you though and you see a nice healthy HB when you have your scan
Katie - Ohh I'm sure it will all be fine. If the bleeding has slowed thats a good sign!
Kate:
I hear you on the tanty’s! Jack was rolling around on the floor throwing on cause I wouldn’t give him my wallet.
Hayley:
They gave me some tablets that will hopefully act like a sleeping tab & help Alex sleep. The Dr wants to try that to see if regular constant sleep patterns will help.
Could be teething. Alex has bad nappies if he eats too many grapes.
Katie:
The carer did try to call me. Due to the rain & the overcast skies my phone was playing up & I had to keep turning it off & on just to get reception to send a txt.
 hope everything is okay & the Dr confirms that too.
Clare:
aww, so cute on L’s morning cuddles. I love them!
Trill:
. Glad Lindsay’s app’t went well though.
MD:
how's the recovery going?
Sitting here not doing much but watching Charmed & the boys play. Been listening to rain 4 the last 24hrs ...
hope your Valentine day has gone well ladies xox
I guess things just have a way of working themselves out Andie - can you imagine if they still came and you were stuck in the house with MIL all day cause of the rain? *shudders* ;) But on the downside it's just pushed it all further back and I'm sure you're just wanting it all to be sorted.
OK, I've been meaning to ask this for ages but keep forgetting - does any of your little darlings have a fascination with drawing on the walls? Alister is a shocker - as soon as he finds a pencil (a texta is even better!) he goes straight over to the nearest wall and draws all over it! It's driving me mental. he likes to draw in books too (and OMG his control of a pencil/texta is amazing! It's like he's been holding them for years - both left and right hand) but his fave is definately the wall. The others were never this bad, but then we didn't have such an easy availability of things for them to draw with kwim? And nothing is working as a deterrent either, we've even had to smack his hand :( so I"m really hoping it's just a phase.
Trillian yep L loves to draw on the walls, only he will use anything that makes a mark like his drumstick or kitchen utensils. Our walls are shocking, we dont have very good paint and the chux magic erasers have made the marks even worse. L also has prety good pencil control in both hands.
No more bleeding this morning so feeling positive. Called mum last night, not the best way to tell her I am pregnant but was glad to talk to her. Dad comes up to visit this week so he can help out with L and I can rest a bit.
I am so over the tantrums, I know that most of them are because he cant communicate but its so frustrating. Guess I should go and have a shower and start the day, its beautiful and sunny and not to hot here today.
Hi girls!
Katie: i'm glad the bleeding has slowed. it must be pretty stressful dealing with that. oh how these kidlets like to make us go grey with worry!
Sherie: ROFL at A's tanty! oh the timing! although fairly lucky that he stayed in the pram. we have a girl that can wiggle out of her carseat....while we are driving!!!
that's great news about L's eyes improving. i feel his pain lol! Although i have been told that treatment is so much better these days for this condition (he has a weak eye no?).
no, no drawing on walls...shhh, trying to keep that option quiet! LOL! we do have an 'artist' in the midst though. this morning she was sticking stars on her drawing...seriously drawing is the only way to keep her occupied while i do the dishes.
Rainy: go with that nesting!! what kind of bed did you get L?
IKWYM about the small suits! Leila spent the first 2 months in 00000's and now when i look at them i just can't believe it. mwah.
AFM: well we had a gorgeous valentines! Leila's Godmother came to babysit last night so we went to this AMAZING italian restaurant in lygon st called D.O.C. they have all these amazing italian imported ingredients from the meat to the cheeses to the olives etc etc and they make it all the proper way. i had a beautiful truffle and porcini pizza with buffalo mozzarella. i always get this when we go to italy so was heaps of fun to find it here. then we went to see changeling. quite a nice film, but omg Jolie is sooooo thin. i found it slightly distracting. i remember her from 'gone in 60secs' and she was the gorgeous voloptous (sp?) woman...
and this morning leila woke up none the wiser! :D
also, as i mentioned to sherie, we have a houdini in the car seat when we drive...does anyone else? and how do you deal with it???
Sounds like you had a wonderful night Clare. I bet you'll be frequenting that restaurant often then? We never had a problem with them getting out of the 5point harness seats, but we had loads of trouble when they first went into a booster with just a regular seatbelt. I know Christy (one of the other mods) had the same trouble with her eldest escaping from the carseat and I can't remember what she used to do about it. From time to time Alister can get ours undone by accident if he forces himself against it, but the clip is getting jammed and it takes a bit of mucking around to get it to catch these days, so we're getting a maxi rider for him because I just can't rely on it anymore kwim? But I suppose it's had 8 years use, which is probably as much as you can expect from a carseat? And yes, I do prefer the Gone in 60 seconds Jolie and Tomb Raider Jolie to all the other ones.
Katie, that's super great there has been no more bleeding overnight  Glad to hear that your Dad will be there to give you a bit of a hand with L. IKWYM about the chux, as great as they are, they really take a toll on your walls. OUr paint was pretty ordinary to start with and this isn't helping.
