clare-omg! how scary, you poor thing. i didn't realise tonsils could cause so much damage. keep us posted with what happens.

arte- i've gotta tell you, i was sooo tired the whole time this pg. it never ended for me...in fact, i'm still tired now! lol

jaz- my baby making days are over too now! tbh, i'm actually happy about it. i've got 2 beautiful boys and so much to look forward to watching them grow up. sometimes i feel sad that i'll never have a dd, but lewis looks exactly like me so that makes me feel better LOL

pap- we are in huge wind/fire danger. i've already evacuated with the 2 boys and the dog. dh is hanging around doing some work on the house but staying vigilant of course.

md- well done on your sale..i think there's a couple of items i won't be able to let go of...mainly oobi items! lol

mm- can't wait to hear all about your wedding, it's so exciting. you and maddie are going to look so beautiful.

girls, jimmy has been really unsettled last night and today. i'm pretty sure he's got wind pains..is there anything i can do about it? he will fall asleep on my boob but then when i put him on his back in the bassinette he just screams. it's making it very hard for me to get any kind of sleep.
i'll be back late with more birth details if you like, are you sure you guys wanna hear about it? i can't be bothered doing a birth story aor anything but i'll def give you guys a quick run down if it interests you?

RAINY - I AM DYING TO HEAR ABOUT IT! SPILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
glad you are evacuated and safe - will be thinking of you honey
re the wind pain - gawd i dont know!! I think N had it a bit at the start, he used to wake screaming at 4.30 every morning for the 1st few weeks. he grew out of it - my solutuion was that was DH time with him LOL! i remember leemar also telling me a great burping tip - hold him under arms and twist a bit - that helped get a lot of it out after a feed. maybe prop him up a bit? sorry honey i dont really know.
    how is L reacting???

Rainy, glad to hear you are well out of harms way. xxx Your pg seemed super-quick this time (to us anyway LOL). Re the wind, massage his tummy in a clockwise direction, bicycle his legs, and any holds that put a bit of pressure on his tum will help too. I had a run in with an oobi stall at the market, lucky for me I was there to sell and not to buy LOL.

Clare, I think you are well entitled to be very angry - it's the way the hospital system works unfortunately. Take a ticket and move along the conveyor belt. Unfortunately it's hard to be assertive when you're in dire need. All it takes is that extra moment of one staff member *really* paying attention to you and suddenly you're in good hands, kwim?

Arte I'm so glad you got to spend some time with your Nanna. I hope she gets through the transition soon enough and can enjoy the care that she gets there that she wouldn't at home, kwim? My Nanna was really against giving up her independence, but when she finally did she eventually got to enjoy things like being able to have a proper bath (with their assistance) and having a hot cup of tea brought in, etc. BTW I think that's hilarious that you're into Twilight! I quite enjoyed the read, not sure I'll be running out to get the rest of the series though.

I don't think we'll hear very much from MM this week, she will be very busy, and then Noni only a week later!!! I think Noni was going off for a dress fitting today. How exciting ladies!!

PAP - enjoy all that cute early walking! How are you "slowing-down-a-bit" plans coming along?

I forgot to say until PP reminded me, yesterday I met cousin's little DD who is 6 weeks younger than Missy E. Just gorgeous and a real little champ despite her vision problems. She has only just a week or so ago started walking too (much earlier than her sister who was a speed bum-scooter LOL) and ti was so cute to see her tottering around. It was fantastic to catch up with my cousins - haven't seen them for years!!

Arte - I just saw that I missed writing about your Nan, I am so sorry... I am glad you spent some time with her and I know how hard it is watching them go through tough times - so big hugs to you. Thanks for asking about my grandfather too - he is ok - well as ok as he can be. he has moved into a high care unit, it seems every day something else happens but it is less like a 'crisis' at the moment. i am not sure when i will see him again, he has advanced altzheimers now and after watching my grandmother go throguh the same thing i am not sure i can face seeing him like that. i have always been v v close to him (his fave if i am honest) but last time i saw him he was v agressive towards me and i know he doesnt want to be like that and i dont want to see him like that (this was a few mnths ago). I feel most for my mum who deals with it all alone...

oobi fans - babys got style has the new winter range online now - c-ute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be buying some....

MD - so gorgeous meeting your cousin, she sound delightful!!! must be so nice to be home - i also saw your post about walking inthe rain -you sound so happy hon.

AHHHH been trying to get on BB for half an hr but it kept stuffing up, almost gave up lol.

I will try pop on this week but I have appts every day from Wednesday. Have spent the whole weekend cleaning, gardening, fertilising & basically preparing. The boys put up the huge marquee, looks awesome & actually makes it look weddingy instead of just a boring backyard iykwim. DP & I are crapping ourselves with nerves & we are so excited too. We had our combined bucks/hens night on Sat which was a good night, had a dance at the casino.

Now to the most important news, M has all of a sudden had red spots pop up all over her chest, abdomen & back...we are so scared that its pox. So fingers crossed girls, we should know by tomorrow morning.

MD - Have been thinking of you & wishing you all the best for Thurs.

Rainy - Definately tell us the birth story, I'm hanging out for it! Thinking of you with this hot Vic weather & all the fire warnings.

Clare - hang on whats this, you came close to permenant damage!? WHAT!? I hope they whip those tonsils out qucik smart. I am now also a twilight addict, I've almost finished twilight & will take the next one on honeymoon with me.

PAP - We get married this Sat & leave on our honeymoon first thing Monday morning.

Arte - Ohhh I am so sorry to hear of your nanna, she has lived a good life to make it to 94 just remember that. They are well looked after & cared for in a home, my sister is an aged carer & she really genuinely cares for them as do all the nurses there.

Jaz - Ohhh really, you are still young! However you are blessed with 3 beautiful girls so I can understand that you are satisfied.

Kate - An ear & throat infection, thats rough. Poor S, sounds like theres not much sleep in your house atm?

Ok fingers crossed girls for M, I am trying to be positive but I am thinking WHY NOW!? 4 days from the wedding & a month off from the vaccination lol.
