Rainy!!!!!!!!! - I'm soooo happy for you. Congratulations!!!! I can't wait to see photos of Jimmy - makes me all clucky! Way to go on no tearing - great news.

Pp - that's great that N has taken his first steps. Wait until he's trying to climb the side gate like Hannah was doing this morning. I hope you get some nice sleep ins

Clare - OMG! you poor dear, that is absolutely horrible! Your poor dh must have been beside himself with worry. I hope you're feeling super very soon, and that the specialist can wave his magic wand and make sure you never feel like that again.

I'm feelin unwell, but feel bad even saying it after reading your post Clare. Think i should just drink a concrete milkshake and harden up!

Once again i have missed out on so much, hopefully i can keep up from now.
i spotted a post from Supa - how are you going?

Rainy YAY welcome back from the hospy with your precious new bundle! I am so happy that you are so happy!! Well done on no tearing thats a relief. I am looking forward to hearing all about your labour.

Jaz - I'm clucky too, will you go for a fourth?

Andie - So sorry that your ex and his family feel that way about A. How insulting!

Congrats again Rainy, so glad to here that things went well and that you are settling in nicely.

PP - way to go on the steps for N, there will be no stopping him shortly.

Clare - OMG you poor thing...what an adventure for you. Hope you feel better soon after getting those nasties out.

Andie - hugs...his question just makes your decision extremely validated now.

MM - Woohoo...how was the hens night? And 6 sleeps to go until you're a MRS!

Jaz - Haha on the milkshake. I tell people to take a teaspoon of cement and harden up but might have to borrow the milkshake line just to vary it a bit.

Hows everyone else? Trill...MD....Oz. All okay?

We're good here...Sarah is still not 100%. Dr said a ear and throat infection so will take her back tomorrow to see if its improving or not.

Kate - poor little Sarah i hope she's feeling better real soon. How is she sleeping at night?

MM - 3 is it for us. I think if i was younger (i'm......37!!!!) i'd push for a 4th. Not because I'd have liked a boy, just that i love being a Mummy, and going through pregnancy etc is so wonderful.
I'm so looking forward to hearing all about your wedding and seeing some pics. I love a good wedding!!!

Hannah has slept through the night for the past 3 nights! I get quite a suprise when i wake up and i'm in my own bed! (i then quickly get up to check on her)
I'm a bit scared mentioning it actually, just in case she reverts to waking up through the night again.

Yeah, Jazah, I'm 35 again too - - not getting any younger! Well done to Missy H on her excellent sleeping! I think I need some of your concrete milkshake right now - make mine chocolate flavour thanks.

Rainy - soooo lovely to hear from you hun, sounds like you're riding the baby bliss wave!

Clare - OMG - that is totally awful, that makes me so cranky that the emergency dept dismissed you the first time - but TBH they probably have that many flakey-not-really-that-ill ppl come through...Soooo glad they are taking it all seriously and so glad you've got the specialist appt this week - hope it all gets sorted soon. Really feeling for you re the veins - mine are shockers and it's *always* a drama. I wish I could just get a tap or something implanted permanently in my arm LOL. See I should've just flown over with my kit and sorted you out last week. LOL xxx

Ande - how rude of your ex - what planet has he been living on? I agree it sounds like someone else has been in his ear.

MM well I was having a giggle about your MIL's wedding cake - all gorgeous until you bite into it and turns out in the middle it's.....FRUITCAKE PMSL!

PP thanks for asking, my appt is on Thurs. Trying to keep myself distracted any way I can until then.
Had the CT scan on Sat am - glow in the dark MD - LOL - and you think the GTT drink is bad - it's not a patch on so-not-strawberry radioactive punch. The guys were fantastic even though my veins were a problem (like usual). Gorgeous dr-lady squeezed my hand when I "had a moment". That act of kindness is still sustaining me a day later.

Well I had a HUGE day today, selling all of my baby gear at the Baby & Kids market. Actually must have sold an awful lot because I made over $400 and only had the bebepod, breastfeeding pillow, baba sling, pram (sold it for $50 haha) and no other big ticket items. All the other stall holders complained about not selling many clothes, I think it's because everyone was spending their $$ at my stall. LOL. I was wheeling and dealing and really enjoying seeing ppl loving their bargains LOL. Anyway, only got 2 boxes left over to go to Vinnies, plus the cradle and the ergo (will sell on ebay) so all good there! LOL

Hi Marydean - way to go at the market! That's a fantastic result. Did you feel a little emotional as you were selling things?
PP - you must be so excited about dh being home tomorrow. Sweet dreams

Ange - I just saw your beautiful photos on Chrissy Torney's Blog, they are just gorgeous. You bump looks beautiful, and Lulu is such a cutie.

Yep JaZaH, I did feel a little emotional, esp when all the pregnant first-timers were coming past who had no idea what size clothes they needed etc. LOL But the truth is, the joy your children bring doesn't stop just because they grow older. You just get more of the back-chat factor LOL.

you're totally right MD! Being able to sit down and have conversations or go out on Mummy and daughter shopping sprees is fantastic. (it just seems easier to get cranky at them when they're older - when they're so tiny it's so hard to be cross)

    I'm here

Had to go down to mums this weekend to look after some of her dogs while she took the others away to a dog show. I had to get DH to drive me down because I am sooo tired. I am exhausted. I thought there was supposed to be a burst of energy in the second tri?

I was glad I went though because my Nana isn't doing very well. She is 96 and was living at home but after a couple of hospital stays she has been sent to a rest home. I went to see her and she isn't very happy there. I am glad she is mostly blind, I don't think she noticed that I was crying the entire visit.

PAP, Yay for N's first steps!!! I don't think walkers could be that much harder than crawlers can they? W only crawled slowly for a couple of weeks before he was up, but I have seen speedy crawlers and I think they could get into as much trouble as a walker anyways. How is your grandfather?

MD, wishing you the very best luck for Thursday, you know we will all be thinking of you and sending out healthy vibes. Well done at the market, sounds like you had a good day.

Rainy, can't wait to hear more about Jimmy's arrival! I am still buzzing about it. Thanks for the attempted sms, we are in a reception hole here - half my messages come days late or not at all. Anyways, after Ange posted that things were heating up I was checking every 5 mins lol

Clare, OMG! I hope you are feeling a bit human today. Glad someone is finally going to do something about it, if they refuse I will get on a plane and be MD's assistant for the DIY tonsilectomy! BTW, Twilight is TEEN SUSPENSE!!! DH has been mocking me since I picked up the next couple of books from the teen display (complete with teeny boppers drooling over movie posters!!).

Better go, crackers and dvds only last so long

MD - wel i dont know where i got monday from, but good luck vibes for thu then! the sale sounds great - what a good idea.
Jazah the girls and mum shopping trips sound fun! good to see you - i have missed you!
MM - you are getting married THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY. when do you leave for honeymoon again?
Arte - sorry you are so tired - how many weeks are you now? i only started to feel better at about 18 wks to be honest, i think it is the added tiredness from the sleep deprivation LOL! Yes N is a very fast crawler!!! i think it will be a couple of weeks til he walks properly but it is cute to watch the stage he is at now!
Clare - how are you feeling today?
Sherie - how is your hand?
    Cally - where are you?
I hope Rainy and Ange arent in any fire danger today/tomorrow.

    Hi girls!

MD: dont worry I'm here too...and you're right mondays are usually the hot tamale days, that and saturdays....
wow! how awesome on the market deals!!! $400!!!!! OHH AAHHH! sooo, whaddya gunna buy???? i hope something deliciously norti and indulgent for yourself!!

Kate: bummer that miss S is still not on her happy horse re the ear and throat infection. hope she feels better soon... sending her loads of solidarity get well vibes! lol!

JaZMum: ppffttt. 37?! so many of the mums in my group are first timers at 40!!! you've got YEARS in ya yet LOL! but true, some of my friends with older kids reckon that there comes a time when you know the baby days are done and your cruising happily through the kid stuff and enjoying sharing more parent to child experiences together ITMS? must say a part of me does look forward to girly shopping sprees with miss L!

Rainy: welcome home babe! and i am sooo joining the queue of ppl wanting to know the details baby!! LOL!....no pressure...LOL!

Arte: oh man, that is tough about your nan. i shared a room at hospy with an older lady who was there for an op from her nursing home. she had loads of visitors which was lovely, but it must be tough on them to spend so much time in beds etc. i hope you managed to get in heaps of cuddles. she would have loved the visit i am sure.

oh btw, you are SOOOO addicted to twilight now!! LOL! when you need to bash the teens out of the way you know...my friend had to hide her tears when the shop assistant told her they ran out and she had to wait a week for the new arrivals!

AFM: well, still here. which i have been told by my GP today should be seen as the reality. i didnt really realise how close i came. bit scary really and i am really really disappointed at the hospy for just fobbing me off on the friday. if they had of got the dr to spend 5 minutes with me, they could have probably saved me alot of pain. oh well. i do have a strange cramp in the back of my leg but i'll get it checked out at the gp again on wednesday and make sure there are no clots etc. supposedly i was a day away from permanent organ damage. yay for me! stupid tonsils.

Arte and MD: next time, get on a plane and come over and we'll have a slice and dice party! LOL! i'll supply the alchi-hole LOL! hhmmmm, maybe we should wait until arte has had her baby....LOL!

anyway best be off, got to pick up ma gorgeous gal from kindy...

clare-omg! how scary, you poor thing. i didn't realise tonsils could cause so much damage. keep us posted with what happens.

arte- i've gotta tell you, i was sooo tired the whole time this pg. it never ended for me...in fact, i'm still tired now! lol

jaz- my baby making days are over too now! tbh, i'm actually happy about it. i've got 2 beautiful boys and so much to look forward to watching them grow up. sometimes i feel sad that i'll never have a dd, but lewis looks exactly like me so that makes me feel better LOL

pap- we are in huge wind/fire danger. i've already evacuated with the 2 boys and the dog. dh is hanging around doing some work on the house but staying vigilant of course.

md- well done on your sale..i think there's a couple of items i won't be able to let go of...mainly oobi items! lol

mm- can't wait to hear all about your wedding, it's so exciting. you and maddie are going to look so beautiful.

girls, jimmy has been really unsettled last night and today. i'm pretty sure he's got wind pains..is there anything i can do about it? he will fall asleep on my boob but then when i put him on his back in the bassinette he just screams. it's making it very hard for me to get any kind of sleep.
i'll be back late with more birth details if you like, are you sure you guys wanna hear about it? i can't be bothered doing a birth story aor anything but i'll def give you guys a quick run down if it interests you?

RAINY - I AM DYING TO HEAR ABOUT IT! SPILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
glad you are evacuated and safe - will be thinking of you honey
re the wind pain - gawd i dont know!! I think N had it a bit at the start, he used to wake screaming at 4.30 every morning for the 1st few weeks. he grew out of it - my solutuion was that was DH time with him LOL! i remember leemar also telling me a great burping tip - hold him under arms and twist a bit - that helped get a lot of it out after a feed. maybe prop him up a bit? sorry honey i dont really know.
    how is L reacting???

Rainy, glad to hear you are well out of harms way. xxx Your pg seemed super-quick this time (to us anyway LOL). Re the wind, massage his tummy in a clockwise direction, bicycle his legs, and any holds that put a bit of pressure on his tum will help too. I had a run in with an oobi stall at the market, lucky for me I was there to sell and not to buy LOL.

Clare, I think you are well entitled to be very angry - it's the way the hospital system works unfortunately. Take a ticket and move along the conveyor belt. Unfortunately it's hard to be assertive when you're in dire need. All it takes is that extra moment of one staff member *really* paying attention to you and suddenly you're in good hands, kwim?

Arte I'm so glad you got to spend some time with your Nanna. I hope she gets through the transition soon enough and can enjoy the care that she gets there that she wouldn't at home, kwim? My Nanna was really against giving up her independence, but when she finally did she eventually got to enjoy things like being able to have a proper bath (with their assistance) and having a hot cup of tea brought in, etc. BTW I think that's hilarious that you're into Twilight! I quite enjoyed the read, not sure I'll be running out to get the rest of the series though.

I don't think we'll hear very much from MM this week, she will be very busy, and then Noni only a week later!!! I think Noni was going off for a dress fitting today. How exciting ladies!!

PAP - enjoy all that cute early walking! How are you "slowing-down-a-bit" plans coming along?

I forgot to say until PP reminded me, yesterday I met cousin's little DD who is 6 weeks younger than Missy E. Just gorgeous and a real little champ despite her vision problems. She has only just a week or so ago started walking too (much earlier than her sister who was a speed bum-scooter LOL) and ti was so cute to see her tottering around. It was fantastic to catch up with my cousins - haven't seen them for years!!

Arte - I just saw that I missed writing about your Nan, I am so sorry... I am glad you spent some time with her and I know how hard it is watching them go through tough times - so big hugs to you. Thanks for asking about my grandfather too - he is ok - well as ok as he can be. he has moved into a high care unit, it seems every day something else happens but it is less like a 'crisis' at the moment. i am not sure when i will see him again, he has advanced altzheimers now and after watching my grandmother go throguh the same thing i am not sure i can face seeing him like that. i have always been v v close to him (his fave if i am honest) but last time i saw him he was v agressive towards me and i know he doesnt want to be like that and i dont want to see him like that (this was a few mnths ago). I feel most for my mum who deals with it all alone...

oobi fans - babys got style has the new winter range online now - c-ute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be buying some....

MD - so gorgeous meeting your cousin, she sound delightful!!! must be so nice to be home - i also saw your post about walking inthe rain -you sound so happy hon.
