Thanks for the VV MD!! The painting isn't finished, but all the undercoating (well, almost) is done & it's white like the topcoat, so Noone Need Ever Know Unless They Look Too Hard. The linen cupboard does need a second coat, but I'm not getting up the ladder at this stage and I'm too fussy to let anyone else do it! Actually quite like painting - well, will def like it more when bending down doesn't trigger reflux ROFL! I am intrigued by your DH's DIY talents - surely there has to be a website out there with pics, put together by admiring (or long-suffering) partners! It astonishes me what they can make out of Chux wipes, duct tape and a bucket.
Got cabin fever and felt much better after taking myself out for a delicious cappuccino and evil choc slice at my fave cafe; sat there for an hour chatting with people wandering past with prams and then knocked off some more Christmas shopping, so feeling much more mellow now in an energised kinda way!
