I dunno what to do now, If I should put them in the washing machine even though the tag said not to, I'm guessing because of the bells and rattles and stuff inside them. or put them in the sun like FIL said. I just don't think I can give them to him and feel safe doing so.
I'd just handwash them in hot water with whatever detergent you use for his clothes. I've done that with a couple of Ash's soft Lamaze type toys and they've come up great. I also use a mixture of hot water and vinegar to clean his plastic/wood toys. HTH
