Yeah, being due so early in the month I never imagined I'd end up here! I thought yeah, there's a huge chance I'll be overdue, but not by 12 days lol.
Belley's one month birthday will be the day we're getting her pics done, I reckon that's pretty cool :)
Hi Everyone, we just fit into this group so wanted to pop in and say 'hi'. Hamish was born on the 30th via c section due to placenta previa. Not ideal, but all went really well and we are loving all the new born cuddles.

How is everyone? I made my first batch of lactation cookies today. They are quiet nice. I also passed the recipe onto a couple of friends :D We are going really well here. Boobs are so full at the moment as Hamish has gone from feeding every 1.5-2hrs to feeding every 3 hours :D Was really full this afternoon and Hamish was a greedy guts and drunk too much. He then threw up a little bit down my top. Was pretty gross, but is kinda nice to know that I have enough milk :D Was a bit worried.

Hudson is sleeping through the night now goes at least 8hrs between feeds then 6-7hrs
cept for last night he just wanted to comfort feed all night :( i got 4 hrs sleep in total
he got his little tounge snipped which he cried more because the doctor had his fingers in his mouth more then the actually snip lol, his tounge tie was long enough to affect his speech but it couldve affected his feeding and my supply (and thats why he did which was fantastic that a male doctor was so keen on breastfeeding, ive found most arent too fussed)
feeding already feels better but could be interesting to see if my milk supply suddendly increases in the next few days
poor bubba is a bit snuffly (which could explain why he was so unsettled last night he sounded yuckish)
my nipples hurt! but its after his fed not during so cant figure it out his attached prefectly
gave him so infacol today after 2 days of screaming! was looking for gripe water didnt have any so used infacol, but i find i only need half the dose as the full dose makes/made my babies chucky,
5 times i did my pelvic floor during pregnancy seems to have helped lol i havent noticed yet but ive already got a screwed up bladder lol.
my supply has settled down beautifully, i keep thinking im not making enough but he seems to be getting enough
his got the worst milk rash :( least it doesnt show up in the 100s of photos ive taken of him lol
his got horrible nappy rash and i cant seem to get rid of it it looks like thrush but its not going away ill have to take him to the drs cause ive tried so many different nappy creams and thrush cream poor little guy, but his only crying during a change not before or after so it cant be burning him
his starting to really focus on whats going on around him and whos around, loves his brother and sister
jhett keeps sharing his bears with hudson to make him feel better
and tahtah loves burping him, makes my hand do it too lol
so over the amount of washing its over a load a day!
im still roughly 12kgs heavier then before pregnancy but would love to stay this weight for once, even if it means my guess jeans never fit again
Hudson did so well with his first cold too poor baby but the older 2 gave it to him through thier affections lol
OMG i stink! like baby chuck poor hudson keeps throwing up when burping

Lol yes! And I had to laugh at a status MoT posted the other day about stinky poos - I too was told breastfed babies don't have stinky poos. But Annabelle held on for three days, and when she finally did one it sure did stink! Thankfully she's avoided that again, but has a habit of waiting til I'm changing her nappy to poop on absolutely everything lol.:

MoT, I'm getting sore nipples too. Not during feeding, and they're not cracked or anything, but just after they're tender for a while. I think it's because she's been unsettled, she's been sucking for a lot longer than normal so they're a tad 'overused' right now. And Annabelle has some milk pimples too, I'm hoping they don't show up in the pics on Saturday!
Tara, how are the lactation cookies? I'm not game to make any, every time Belley has a decent sleep I wake up with massive sore boobs and I don't wanna make that worse lol.

AFM, we had two really unsettled days here. She wouldn't sleep unless she being held - I had to feed her standing up and jigging her. She'd finally fall asleep, but she'd wake up so easily. So she's been up pretty late, and then getting up more often. Yesterday she barely slept at all, and then my parents came around. She'd had maximum two hours sleep all day, and it was 4pm by then. So I was feeding her, almost getting her to sleep, but Mum just wanted to hold her. She reckoned all bubs wanted was to "see her favourite Nana" (who she's only met twice) and that she had stayed awake just to see her. She reckoned she'd be able to get her to sleep just by holding her. So that was frustrating, she did eventually get to sleep and Mum was put out, but oh well. No way was I going to wake her!
Today she's much much happier, and just caught up on some sleep. She's having a little chat with DH now, so cute :)
KT- jhett was like that for months! and when people came round if he was asleep it was sorry but im not waking him!
Hudson poops at every nappy change, im yet to change a just wet nappy
we had 3 nights are screaming baby, last night he slept a little better but still unsettled and woke up for a feed at 3am, he was going 8hrs overnight! hopefully i can get him back into that routine.
went and did kmart and big W toy sale today, very dissapointed hope Target is awesome!!!! but Hudson is getting a few small things, plus ill go to PP and buy clothes for him.
as im sitting here typing his just FILLED his nappy!!!
BF babies poop doesnt smell compared to FF or solids!!!!! i always remember after they start solids lol

Haha, go Hudson :) The other day Belley was sleeping in her cot so we were... "busy"... when she coughed a couple of times. DH looked over, she was fine & still sleeping. Couple more coughs, DH looked over and said oh she spewed a bit... hang on... Moved her head to the other side, and she'd got it everywhere! In her hair behind her head, in her ear, everywhere. Best part was she just lay there and grinned at us lol:

I was lying next to Lilac at 3am, it was dark but there was a little night light on the other side of her, all of a sudden I see a stream of vomit projectile across the bed. It was like a fountain.

Hi ladies. How's everyone going?
We are going well. Took the boys for a trip to Sydney over the weekend to see my parents. Both boys travelled well.
We have Hamish's 4 wk checkup on Wednesday. Looking forward to finding out how much he's grown. I don't think that he's reached Noah's birth weight yet but will be interesting to see how close he is to it. I'm slowly getting used to the lack of sleep again thankfully.
Pz I hope you are going ok. You've been on my mind alot recently.

We had our 4 week check- our 1st check since we left hospital at 3 days old so we were anxious to have this 1.
Sophie is now 5kg and 56cm long, think thats okay. I wish it took me a month to put on a kg I seem to put on a kg every time I think about chocolate lmao
Thought we'd have a few more ladies pop up in here by now!

Everybody is busy I guess or trying to sleep.
I have days were I get emotional from being tired, but all in all its not too bad- perhaps cause I havent had a full nights sleep in years, not since before I was preggy with DS1.

Hey everyone :) I've been lurking around BB but finding it hard to actually write a post lately - Belley has turned into veclro bub! Had a few rough nights - she sleeps for 4 hours first stint, then two (just) then she doesn't really get to sleep properly at all and is awake an hour later. Yesterday the longest sleep she had was half an hour, and that was on me. If I moved the slightest she was awake, and no way would she go anywhere near a bed! She spent most of the day feeding and just being awake - yawning a lot though, so I know she was tired. Then last night, finally asleep about 10:30, but again wouldn't stay in her cot. Wound up taking her to bed with us, she finally slept til 3, then again til 6, then again til about 7:30.
Her other problem is still wind - last night it was really bad poor mite. She's finally old enough for infacol, so I've started that today and it's working! Does massive burps right after a feed, so hopefully the gas won't have a chance to move down and become painful. And, bonus, she's sleeping on her own!
DT, I've had emotional moments too. The worst was a couple of days ago, I'd spent the entire day with Annabelle on my boob, she wouldn't do anything else. But she wasn't actually drinking, she was pulling all over the place and scratching me to pieces. If I took her off she cried. I was a wreck by the time DH came home. At about 6 it got too much, I swore and put her in her pram - and she was happy! I just burst into tears, she'd beaten me up all day, and I just felt like she hated me - she was happier to lie there on her own than have me hold her :( That was definitely my lowest moment, and then I just felt so guilty that I'd sworn and couldn't figure out what she needed :( Thankfully DH took over for a while and I had a long shower.
Sounds like Sophie's growing really well :)

Tara, how long was your drive to Sydney? Our longest trip so far has been 45 minutes, but in a couple of weeks we're taking a 3 hour drive to SIL's engagement party. Thankfully Belley sleeps in the car, but still dunno how she'll go for that long.
Hope you're all doing well, and hopefully everyone's getting some sleep and we can all find to pop in a bit more lol
