Hotaru - enjoy your newborn photo session. Hope J behaves and you get some good photos!
Dory - I just read your post about our freaky matching birthdates!! Woah... *cue twighlight zone music*
Sounds like our babies are going through an unsettled patch as they get used to life on the outside. Also, the day night cycles being all messed up. I know my little one can sleep for long stretches its just during the day and not at night! It took DS1 a good month to sort out his sleep schedule so I expect this with DS2.
I've also got a nice chesty cough I just can't shake. DH has it too and I think DS1 is getting it. Hoping that I don't have to go on antibiotics.. The cough is getting looser, lots of phlegm.. Hopefully that's a good sign.
Anyhoo, hope you all have a wonderful day with your babies![]()

it's been 2 days & my MIL is driving me crazy already! I feel like snapping "just give me my baby!" I feel like I can't say anything to DP coz it's his mum, & he also gets on the defensive about it! Argh, bring on Sunday!!!
PM me if you want to talk in private about how our sons are handling the new additions. I didn't realise how much easier it was to have just a newborn at home!! Haha
I had a day to myself today, which was good. I just woke from a nap with my little man and I think we're about to venture out for our first trip to do the food shopping!
I have dropped 8kgs since my CS - which I was amazed at, considering X was small! So only 5kgs to go for me to get back to pre-baby weight
X has his first visit from the community care nurse tomorrow and will be weighed! I am curious to see what the little piggy has put on, his feeds have been increasing slowly. Night times are getting better, I took the advice (I think it was from BR) about light being day and dark being night. So now at bedtime I try and keep the lights off for feeds and nappy changes. I think its helped as X slept for 3.5hrs between feeds last night!
