Hi all. Over the last few days my little bugger has turned away from the breast. Just refusing it - even when I know he's hungry because I can hear his little tummy grumbling. I've checked out the breastfeeding naturally book (endorsed by the ABA) and it can be for a myriad of reasons - I could be ovulating, I've eaten something he doesn't like, he's just plain fussy, he could be teething...... anyway you get the picture.

Well anyway, what I wanted to share was that I spoke to the CHN yesterday at the clinic and she advised me to express that feed (even if I have to end up throwing it out because he won't take a bottle) to keep my milk supply up. She said that in all likelihood he will be back to normal in a few days. Oh and he had a great weight gain of 340g in the past two weeks. His weight is 7180g and he's 65cm long.
