AM thanks for sharing your schedule! I'll try do a similar one- sounds like it works well!

CK ohhh I'd have been upset losing that too.. How annoying! It did enter my mind at one point that it's kinda silly having everything in the book being that it could easily get lost..

Mollie im the same as CK- rarely weigh violet cos I can tell she's putting on weight- especially when everyone comments how chubby she is! Ha. But yeah I know what you mean, I worry about everything too, it's so hard not to!!

K&G I know what you mean- it's good to know that some babies are just like this! Did the MCHN give any idea why some babies do this? Or not really sure? I do know of one way to get violet to have a decent sleep but it's a last resort- I let her fall asleep in my arms, then at the 30 min mark where she normally wakes up, she wakes and I can quickly give her the dummy again / resettle in my arms (doesn't work in her bed) and then after a further 10 mins or so, I transfer her to the swing where she wil normally sleep for another 30 mins or sometimes even longer..but yeah not ideal!!! I hope they grow out of it- have certainly heard solids can help... We shall see!

Jan- aaaww that mustve been tough! Poor little leggies. Immunisations are so nasty. Violet has her next ones on Monday! Glad Jess liked the pumpkin! How cute

Question- who here has a pead and who just uses a GP? So far I've only seen the GP ( good cos they bulk bill for children) but was wondering if I'm meant to take her to a pead as well or is that only if there's something you need to get checked that requires a specialist opinion?

Also has anyone tried those numbing patches before the immunisations?

Have been playing some classical music for violet during the day- thought it might be good for her!
