Deana, im so sorry this has happened hun As much as you have to stay strong for your little man you still have to cry and let it out and not hold it inside. Buzzie has given you some great advice and I hope DP comes around. Huge hugs xo Hope Blake is better now.
We are going well here, Isla is well. Still formula feeding 180mls every 4 hours during the day then at night she will usually go down 9ish then wake up about 4am to 5:30am in the morning for a feed. We are actually going to put her in the cot for the 1st time tonight to see how she goes. I've been letting her sleep in it during the day so she gets used to it so will see how tonight goes. Not sure if you all remember but we have been co-sleeping with her and now she's getting too big for the bed insert.
To get her to sleep during the day I wrap her, lie her on her side in the cot, give her the dummy, pat her bum lightly for a couple of minutes then walk away and she usually puts herself to sleep. Im so relieved about this because I always remember having to nurse my Son off to sleep which used to be a pain and very time consuming.
She's only awake for about 1 hour or more incraments during the day then sleeps/naps for about an hour. So we haven't got her into a proper routine yet.
Does anyone else have routines for sleeping during the day?
Loving Mothers Group at the moment, we've started an excercise morning every thursday so that's been alot of fun but hard work since im so unfit! One of the girls is a Maui Thai (sp?) fighter so she tells us what to do. It's really fun and at no cost!
Can't believe it's nearly Christmas! Pretty much gotten all the shopping done, hate venturing out to the shops this time of the year, crazy!
