It went quite well in the end. We were leaving her for 2-3 minutes screaming at the door and then walking her back to bed and telling her it was bedtime, time for bed etc. Took just over an hour and she finally went back to sleep, then when she woke a couple of hours later it only took about 15 minutes of the same to get her back to sleep. I don't like doing it this way but I think I have tried everything else! She can wake up 3-4 times and won't resettle even with a full dose of Phenergan before bed. She just wants me in the bed with her and won't accept anything else, even if DH is in there. Will keep going for a few more nights and hopefully make some progress.
MD, the lastability of W's tantrums has always impressed me lol His record was nearly 3 hours without a break when he was really in the swing of it - he is nothing if not stubborn! (surely he didn't get that from me!). Thankfully A usually doesn't have the stamina for long wobblies and tends to only last a few minutes during the day.
Is E over the dummy yet?
Keeping myself entertained planning W's party. He wants a Toy Story theme so I will have a look around for some branded party stuff when I go to the city to pick up MIL next weekend.
