Which school did you end up going with Cass? The little one further away or the bigger one close by? DD does the active after school thing at after school care - 2 different activities a week. She's really enjoyed all the different sports they've done.

Arte - so you didn't really need to make a decision about moving, it was made for you.

Looks like there is an improved offer coming...

Cass, it probably won't take long to adjust to the new school, but if you think it might never quite sit right then I would suggest having a look at the other school asap, before she invests too much time making new friends.

Arte - I can't remember with Miss K's bottom ones, but her top teeth are currently wobbly and have been since September/October. I tried pulling one out this morning so she would be gappy for the school photos, but it's not quite there yet.

That is 5 months of wriggle!! OMG, I so want it to fall out lol. I have been waiting ages to do the tooth fairy thing. Got so impatient last week that the fairy left them all a note thanking them for all their good brushing. Glitter and everything.

So the potential employer matched and even slightly bettered the current package, with a fast track to South Island manager and subsequent pay increase. Swirling head. I don't want to say goodbyes and I love the area but we do have to move before high school and this is DH's dream job. With most of my regular crowd moving away from the kindy scene it sort of feels like an ending anyway. And if we move we could get a few acres, a pony for the kids....and is it insane to want to hatch an emu?

An emu???? I like the sound of a pony.

She would have looked better for pics with a proper gap - her jaw has grown heaps in the last month and her top teeth are sitting there with massive gaps next to them ready for the new grown up teeth. Looks weird.
