gotta be quick as i am off to the Aquarium today and i am meeting JJ

Kylz - so sorry that you are having to do this alone, it really sucks sending you some today xx
Re the witching hour, MJ was terrible between 5 and 8pm. with A it is a shorter time and not as bad - or maybe it is that i remember it to be worse or was expecting it so it doesnt feel as bad iykwim. She gets over tired/stimulated and wants to feed, but doesnt want it... i find that the only way of settling her is walking around the house with her laying over my arm (superman style) and rocking her to sleep - but she doesn't settle long... trouble is this time around we have to have dinner at a set time because of MJ, so usually DH eats first (i try to eat each night with them but it never works) then when he is finished we takes A and i eat! Over night i am usually up for an additional hour getting the wind out as she wont settle until its gone - i have started tummy sleeping her in the day and she sleeps so much better, i think that i will night sleep her this way soon, but just want to hold off a bit longer if i can as it scares me (though i have a breathing monitor)

Ali - i sent you a message on FB... You are a great Mummy and as the others have said, you are so brave and ultimately a fantastic Mummy as you have taken that step to ask for help - i hope that your appointment goes well, please let us know how you get on... there is nothing but support in here, come in a vent, we are all here for you (and each other) and sometimes i think that it is easier to admit your feelings when you are not face to face withsome one. thinking of you today, you have my number, call me if you need xx

Mskara-good on you for recognising the signs and admitting you need help i know it feels awful to admit you are not copeing but it is the best thing you can do i didnt want to admit that ella wasnt a perfect bub like her brothers with sleeping routine ect and i was getting anxious everytime she was crying and it wasnt until i went to the doctors and said she is a nightmare and i just can not for the life of me work her out there is something wrong that i felt good we got her sorted out with her reflux and now i feel better about myself that it wasnt me doing anything wrong and i also stop telling people she is a good bub when they ask i say no she is a demanding baby who can have her moments and be a shocker when she wants to so i dont feel guilty lying.
So even us 4 time mums can have problems to hun i hope you feel better soon.

Kylz-you poor thing i couldnt handle doing it on my own i hope it all goes smoothly and when you get home you can give your DH an earbashing.

I have decided to just do what i did with my other kids as it worked for them i will give some panadole before the needles and then just see how she is every 4 hours after that.

I am feeling really light headed today and nauseous i am so sick of feeling like sh#t i want my pre pregnant body back no bleeding and feeling normal again i look like a pale sick person at the moment.

    Thanks Jaki.

Ferrals re the panadol, it's an anti-pyretic (which means it brings down temps) which means that giving panadol before hand will mask a reaction so you don't notice it early.
I never gave panadol with MJ and she didn't really need it afterwards with the immunizations that she had.

But totally up to you what you do, just thought I would explain it

Sammie-Yeh i did no that it's just 13-18 years ago when i had my boys it was you MUST give panadole before hand and now it's all changed i relise it will mask a reaction but isnt that the point all babies will have some sort of reaction weather it be a slight redness at the injection site or full on sick with temperatures giving panadole will help avoid the high temp rise and pain.
Anyway i suppose these doctors change their minds like their underwear one day it's you SHOULD do this and eat this and then the next thing you hear it's you SHOULDNT do this and cant eat this is causes cancer ect same as the tummy sleeping it use to be recomended years ago and they still do it in NICU'S and now it's a big NO NO.

Sarah-my mum and stepdad gave me flak for not getting my boys done and my mum only had girls so whats it to her i said why should i put my boys through something not nessersary it is not done as much these days as it used to be and most boys today are not done my mums reply was it is dirty not to be done WTF! how would you know you have never been with anyone with a foreskin i have been with both and to be honest the sex is better with men who have foreskins they are more sensitive and if a man is clean he is clean all over it's like cleaning your ears if you dont they will get dirty and then i just said they were born with it so it stays unless they chose to have it done when they are older so she has not mentioned it since.
Sorry to hear your having a rough time with bub.

MsKara - You are a great mumma to get the support you need to take care of your little one.

Kylz - my BIL is pressuring me to get DS done, every time I see him he mentions it.

Went to the LC today. She suggested that i actually take DS off the boob for about 4 days and then re-try. The opposite advice to the last LC I saw. Seeing the paediatrician tomorrow which is great because DS is still only taking half the volume of EBM as he had been. DS is having a bit of terror time at the moment but I think he is tired and probably a bit hungry but can't drink anymore...bring on the appointment tomorrow.

Kylz: I'm not too fussed about getting C done. mostly because im a lazy cow LOL also DH isn't done so he can teach C how to look after it properly. How is J now? Has he forgotten all about it? I love baby memory, they get something done like a needle and an hour later they are happy again

Lisa: GL with the paed tomorrow, maybe he can give you better answers than the LC's.

Ali: you are awesome. Hope all goes well with the dr.

And just to prove Im super lazy, I gotta go but hi to everyone

...well I'm not really lazy but busy since Im cooking dinner and DH is sleeping with C...yeah DH gets a sleep and I get to cook dinner even though I was up with C at 4am this morning I tried to dream feed last night but I think I didn't latch him properly cos he only lasted till 4am, gah, will try again tonight if I get him to sleep earlier than usual.

Thanks for the support everyone I saw my GP and am starting on meds and will go back in a week to discuss whether I want counseling etc. I barely made it in to my GPs room before I burst in to tears again, but I feel much better already just getting it off my chest. He has also ordered me out of the house twice a week without H for some Ali time, which is what Matt has been pushing me to do for the past few weeks but I just haven't felt like going out anywhere. My bestie is sending me out for High Tea with his gf on Sunday for Mother's Day, so I guess that will be a good start!

Anyway, I'd better start something around here. H is finally asleep after fussing all day. He has mouth thrush and has been unsettled for days, which hasn't helped!

He is ok now Kittz. He had a bit of a meltdown when we visted Iona n Jack today but he is ok. The dr told me he shouldnt be in any pain but i have given him some panadol anyway. He is asleep in his swing at the moment *smacks hand cause the chn told me off for it last week* but he is happy there and he isnt screaming like normal at this time of night.

Oh the Dr today did tell me that he heard J gulping down air when they laid him down to do the procedure and asked what his wind is like. I told him and he gave me a script for some wind drops that are only made here in Bris at the Wesley Hospital. They are the same as a medication that started with a D that was taken off the market 12 months ago but do you think I can remember what its called. I called to check how much it was and its $32 Guess that will be waiting till payday on Monday.

ALI - Im glad you are feeling a little better after seeing your GP. Im off to see mine tomorrow for a few things and im sure I will be the same. Im stealing your strength.

Ali: Me time sounds like a good idea, i might even indulge myself this week or next Glad the GP made you feel a little better, thats one hurdle crossed already. enjoy your high tea, i went to one for a bridal shower and it was really fancy, felt all ladylike lol

Kylz: $32 that stuff better contain flecks of gold LOL jks. Thats good that he isn't in any pain, I was seriously thinking about getting C done but I told DH and I think DH was offended lol. men. Does W doze off in the swing?? C has his eyes wide open in it like its the ride from hell, but he just sits there and stares at the toys dangling down. I think it stimulates him more than makes him sleepy.

Today I took off C's nappy because he loves being half naked (seriously the kid loves it, starts talking and smiling as soon as it comes off) laid him on a towel in the living room and just let him go He loved it sooooo much, kicking his legs around and gurgling happily. Best idea my mum ever had to keep him happy during the day

And C woke up at 7pm had his feed and is in bed now sleeping hopefully for the night. I'll wake him up for a dream feed around 11pm, unfortunately its on the right boobie which he hates so hopefully i latch him on properly this time and he gets enough milk to help him last.

What is everyone doing for mothers day? I've hinted to DH that breakfast in bed wouldn't go astray and that i want him to print the book ive been writing and toying with for the past two years so I can proofread it again.

i got told off for the same thing, only her rocker, not the swing had to get rid of that befor she was born so her bed had a place to go! not that she sleeps more than 5 mins in it i hope that it works, for 32 it would want to change him and tuck him in to!!

i just rememberd someone mentioned expressing..... i have never been able to with the other 3, but i got 25ml out of each side (pain-free to i must add!) about 2 weeks ago.. havent been game to try again since, keep thinking it was a fluke and it will hurt like hell if i try again...

can not belive how quiet it is, krystal is actualy asleep, seth is sleeping, trent is out partying with dad (probably asleep on granpas couch) and i cant do a bloody thing cos if i put allyssa down, she will wake up and scream for cuddles typical!!

La la la la. I knew letting him sleep from 5 was a bad idea. Now has woken at 11 for a feed but I will let him off since had s hard day. Went back to sleep now awake at 1140 and just wants to cry. Gave him some panadol and I think I've got him down again but now I'm lying here staring at the wall. Grrr

OMG my face is still burning giving it 10 more min then I'm getting in the shower again.
