Kat- I agree with everything the other girls have said. Get checked if your worried cos mum's intuition is really important, but you will prob see problems where others don't even worry because of your work.... It's normal. My DH is a Dr and when we first had Jem home he was counting her breathing rate and getting worried and other stuff like that. She was fine but he couldn't help but look at her with a professional eye tinged with the neurotic worries of a protective daddy! He has also gotten worried at times cos she always frowns at him and won't always settle as easy. He still hasn't gotten a smile. I think Jemima is much more advanced because of being so late. She holds up her head and tracks objects and smiles had stuff and I am sure 3wk olds arn't supposed to, but hey that's just her!

KL- that's great about your sis visit!!! And I am really pleased you finally got a longer sleep!! For all the bragging we did earlier, whilst J still sleeps 6-7 hrs straight it now seems to be in the early evening and so we don't go to sleep with her then and so miss the block sleep. oh well

Naomi- happy b'day for yest! Good job with the cleaning, you go girl! and the bread making.... I think we have a new domestic goddess!

Amy- hows your sleep coming hon?? I am in awe of you sometimes.. You sound liike your having a hard run yet you keep your positive spirit. Good going mummy and keep it up! I hope phoebe lets you rest soon tho and Natty settles for you.

Vic- sorry to hear ur feeling unwell, but glad to hear it's getting better! J is feeding the same, almost constantly thru the day, but still sleeps well in the evening, but starting earlier and earlier in the morning.. oh no... LOL

BG- good luck for the baptisim prep! Jemima is doing the same fussing at the boob sometimes too... she seems to want to have 4 courses to every meal... small feeds close together. other times she is on and off so quickly that I realise she is uncomfortable and sit her up. I am usually rewarded with a burp

JwithJ- Sounds like your little one is like mine! Jemima has had great head control since birth... it scares me how fast she is developing.. having her come so late means I feel like I almost missed the newborn sleepy period tho!

Well MIL gone home... yay!!!!!!!! It was great to have the support and my personal washing fairy, but I felt completely smothered in the end. It is hard when you feel ungrateful but you just can't standit anymore. I was really struggling not to be rude oh well. you do your best don't you. She spent her last week here in tears cos she had to leave, I could only cope with a small amount of that.. god I'm cold hearted sometimes!! Have to say tho I had a great day hear with my little girl on my own!! it was fab.

Jemima put on 400g since last week.. she is now 4800g! such a big girl. She has also just started to coo occassionally, and seems very pleased with herself when she does I posted my birth story for those who are interested Also can I ask all those of you who arn't friends on FB to find me or leave your names so I can search you ?
