This is going to be a bit of a random post, so apologies for the bits that won't make sense - blame it on baby brain (as opposed to pg brain)

Pam - huge for you, what a hard time you're having. You probably already know this, but just in case you don't, and you were trying anything to improve supply, the combo of Fenugreek & Blessed Thistle tabs, plus flaxseed oil tablets might help. I've been taking just the fenugreek & blessed Thistle combo (brand is "herbs of Gold", breastfeeding something or other on the label), and I reckon it's definitely doing something. The feeding is just mental - Owen doesn't have the weight issues that Tilly is having (quite the opposite), but I've been really struggling to feed him from the LHS, so been just expressing from that side & feeding from the rhs. Has made me completely off kilter, to the point where I can rarely even hear or say the word bf without crying. Have you got a pump to capture the bits that you're leaking, so that you can use that up before switching to the comp feed? That would also help your supply too....It's also still early days too, which I'm finding hard to remember sometimes, so I have to remind myself that they're not even 3 weeks old yet, so not to expect that they'll feed like a 6 month old or even a 6 week old, they're still learning and so are we in a way, in that we've never had these babies before, if that makes sense.

Mum2Bxx - I think I know where you're coming from re the birth issues. For me, seeing O for the first time and touching him was magical, and it hasn't stopped, he's the equal best thing that's ever happened to me (along with his brother), but when I think about some of the aspects of his birth I get really teary. I was really hoping for a VBAC, but he managed to wrap himself tightly in the cord, so was never going to make it out naturally, and even though there was absolutely nothing I could have done about it, it still makes me sad. That and the fact that the only day my OB had off over Easter was the one that I went into labour on, so I had a perfectly lovely but completely unfamiliar OB pull him out, instead of my OB, who I just love. And for some reason, that's also making me really sad, especially as there won't be a number 3... The thing that I would say is that these feelings generally fade over the next few weeks/months, as things become a little easier & more routine, and you're not feeling so completely exhausted. Being tired seems to make the difficult things seem even more overwhelming, but it annoyingly doesn't enhance the good things.

Also, re your little one's sleeping- I'm with Pam, they're way too little to spoil, and they're not capable of putting on an act to manipulate at this age, so giving them all the comfort that they need to settle is only going to benefit them, and probably benefit you as well. IMHO, it's a great way to really get to know them & increase your intuition about what they need, if that makes sense. Again, IMHO, feeding to sleep can often be more of a problem for other people - my eldest always fed himself to sleep, and after a few weeks I worked out how to transfer him into his bassinette/cot to continue on with the sleep, just takes a little bit of practice & trial to find out what works for you, if that's the way you go.

Re the crying - there's a Pinky Mackay book "100 ways to calm the crying", I personally love her style, so would highly recommend getting a copy of it. But like lots of other things, you do learn what the different cries mean, and it does get easier, plus after the 8-9 week mark they gradually start to cry less. Your DH sounds like he's pretty helpful at times - calming him in a sling is great, and really good for Dad's to be involved with comforting them.

well, that's about enough from me - some tool in our street is playing around with a really noisy motorbike. I guess I should be grateful that it's 2pm , not 2am, but I do want to go out an yell at them for being inconsiderate...

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
