pinny woot on the 8 hours!!! thanks for the chat this morning!
kaz  at teh happy dance!! hope you got to group today!
nai were the same, she sees the cot and her body goes stiff, then screams! we have good days and bad days, good night and bad nights! last night was bad as is today but wedensday night was great as was yesterday, cant win!
meg wnat to do my housework  glad E's throat is better!
ellie  hows the m/s going.... going i hope!
as i said, sleep issues here too! doing my head in :( took me 5 hours to get her down today and i bet she;ll be up any minute now!
still no teeth, but got my teething necklace today so fingers crossed it helps as we think she may be teething! *think* my house is a pigsty but im too scared to make any noise to clean it up!
-
:grouphug: I hope Santa brings us lots of sleep for Christmas.
Kaz- I love you, you brightened up my day today!!!! Thankyou so much
Pinny- Woo hoo on the sleep.
Olive-Thinking about a teething necklace as well. no teeth yet, but I think they are coming. How much was it and wwhere did you get it from. I dont want to get a dodgy one.
Lilima- My house looks like a bomb as i havent done anything all week. My floors are shocking and i need to do them today as A is crawling all over them.
Shell- awesome work on the Christmas presents.
Nai- that is heaps of teeth!!! WOW!! Must be so hard for them to cope with hug. hearing them scream is so hard
AFM- well it was my Stepdads bday yesterday and we went out for dinner then I came home and was sick. I think I had a bug or it could have been the disgusing heat yesterday as I hadnt felt well all day. Feel fine today. DD slept in bed with me this morning from 5am until 8am and it was so lovely. She must have been tired as she doesnt like to co-sleep with me anymore, just likes to hit and kick me and roll around. It was so lovely and I spent alot of time just looking at her sleep so peacefully.
We need to put the cot down now as she is pulling herselfup on furniture. Not done it in the cot YET but worried now. She does sit up in bed now. As of last weekend she has learnt how to go from crawling to sitting up which is fantastic as she doesnt get as frustrated. Its all just happened really quickly.
We are having a special Christmas at home on Sat night and letting Ashlyn attack her presents except a few little ones as we are going to the gold coast for Christmas and I dont want to take them all with us. There wont be room in the car anyway. Then on Monday night we have Christmas at my real dads house and then are driving to Gold Coast over 2 days on Wed and Thursday.
Hope everyone has a good nights sleep tonight
-
ali i got mine from selkie design, wasnt cheap, i did find one for $23 but they wanted $9 postage and i refuse to be ripped off like that!! mine all up including express postage was $42 so on the dearer side, i think det got hers from charlie something.. cant remember the name but i did look them up too, i got a honey coloured one!
we put the cot down a few weeks back due the exact same reason! the constant pulling up on furniture etc..
well M finally went down at 1pm and slept to 3.15pm so im happy with that!
-
*Freak out*
Just saw olive's ticker, one week til Christmas! Freak out!!!!
Good thing I'm almost organised...
Hi all,
Sounds like we are all struggling with sleep issues at the moment! We still have screaming at night time, last night it was til about 9pm, we had her up and down, cuddles and rocking, gave her some panadol, more cuddles, in the end it was back in the cot and she just had to cry. Sigh. Feel like a terrible mother but nothing would comfort her...
We've cut a second tooth though so that might have been why she was so upset.
She's having a good sleep now which is good...
Can't stay much longer, must do some housework. Hi to all, hope we are all getting geared up for Chrissy!
-
I did get to group - last 45 mins of it anyway  Twas ok though cause at least I didn't go and buy any cake!!!
Got my hair cut this afternoon - always fun with DS stuck in the pram. He was pretty good but so tired his eyes were out on stalks by the end of it. He just won't sleep in his pram, even with the cover over :( Hairdresser was telling me that her and all three of her siblings slept through from a few days after birth. I was like :o and wanted to call her mother a total liar but didn't think it would be very polite. Just said, "Wow, I've never heard of that before". Seems to be the no. 1 question I get these days "Is he a good baby? Is he sleeping through?" Like the two are synonymous! I actually hate the "good baby" label, it makes my skin crawl. Like any baby is "bad"!!!! I've decided to stop whinging about his sleep (not that I was whinging today, she only asked so she could brag about how good her mum had it  ) - it doesn't help and I end up feeling more down about it. I'm going to enjoy him for who he is, 3 hourly wake ups and all!! :)
-
I hate the "are they good baby" question. Of course they are no matter what they do. They're not bad just all different.
Kaz- Emily hates being stuck in the pram now, if I'm moving its ok but as soon as its stopped she wants out, food and toys won't distract for long like they used to. I'll get round to getting my hair done eventually!
Op- Hopefully it was cause of the tooth and now she is gonna sleep well for you!
Ali- The way you're doing xmas is good cause you get to drag it all out. I reakon these bubs will enjoy the wrapping paper more than the presents. Are you going for long up the gold coast?
Olive- its funny how scared we get to make any noise when they're sleeping badly. I actually find having double story house great now cause that way we won't wake Emily with all the noise. Stuff housework anyways.
Nai- lets hope the cot sleeping continues, can't believe all those teeth and we have none! We'll prolly swap rolls then, Emily will be up all the time and J will be settled with all her teeth thru.
Pinny- yay! Hope it continues.
Ellie- Has your m/s settled at least? How have you been feeling? How long til DH back? Its so hard when you're on your own and they're not sleeping.
Det- I hope you have a great xmas, it prolly will feel bit odd with all the changes but make sure you all enjoy the day. Gonna be funny bit too for ours as its the first xmas without FIL. So gonna be hard on DF and MIL.
Not much here, been great with Df being on school holidays only have to do half my usual work. And he bought me our Dyson, woohoo. We decided we are like an old married cause we were so excited about it, lol.
-
Hi girls,
Well I finished my xmas shopping last week - I have absolutely no idea why I'm that organised - last year I was buying things on xmas eve.
Alex isn't sleeping very well, although last night he went into his cot for the first time in 2mths, and we had the bedroom door open with the a/c on because it was so hot. The cat decided that she would co-sleep with me.. so instead of a baby I had a cat! I was so exhausted I just fell asleep anyway.
Kaz - Thanks for the card, u made my day!
Olive - thanks for the necklace info.. DH was asking me what I wanted for xmas (I told him that he had already bought me a CD and a DVD) but now I've sent him the link for the necklace.
Nai - 7 teeth wow.
-
Malyna - Glad to hear you had a reprieve with As sleep last night. Hope it continues tonight.
Shell - LOL!! DP and I were the same when he came home with our Dyson. He vacuumed most of the house trying it out. It was awesome. You'll never look back! I agree about the pram. Next hair cut is for a Sat so DP can mind DS, there's no way he'll tolerate that again.
Ali - Thanks darl. So are you!!!
-
sorry didn't get 2 finish my last post - alex woke up.
shell & kaz - might have to buy a new vacuum to get dh to use it .
ali- take care
merry christmas to everyone :grouphug:
-
Hi all,
We didn't have the best of night last night either, but I know exactly why. We had a BBQ last night and didn't get home till about 9:30, and E had been up sice 1pm, so she was so tired. Then went to bed and woke about 3:30am. Tried putting her in with us, and she just mucked around, so put her back in her own room and she HOWLED for near an hour. I too just had to leave her, as there was nothing that I could do. She was not hungry, sick or anything else, she was just pi$$ed off with me!
THe cry was like "Don't you dare leave me in here, come and get me now!"
Then she slept till 9:30 this morning, so everything is out of wack. I hope we don;t get a repeat performance tonight, as we are staying at my mums!
-
I cant believe that every time I go on holidays I get sick with some bug the kids have going around at school!!!!!
I was still sick last night with gastro. I havent had gastro in about 5 years. Poor DD has it now too. No vomitting just heaps and heaps of runny poos. She is holding food down and drinking lots but is really whingy.
She woke up at 5am this morning so got her up and she got every single toy out in the lounge room while I felt sorry for myself on the lounge and then got her back to bed at 8am and then we both slept until 10am.
On a positive note I have lost 1.5kg in 2 days!
Is there anything I sshould or shouldnt give DD to make her better and do you girls know how long gastro lasts???
BBL
-
Ali most importantly, keep the fluids up (water and milk) If she doesn't want to eat, don't worry too much. Also keep the food plain and simple.
-
I've always found plain food important too! Stay away from dairy, offer feeds lots and water! Diluted Gastrolite too if you think!
Make sure you look after yourself too! Poor thing big hug Ali, hope your better soon!
-
 Ali, look after yourself.
Lilima  hope it was just a one night thing.
xxoo
-
Ali- that sucks, so hard too when you have a baby to look after. The others have given good advice. Keep up fluids is main thing. Are you still having your home xmas tonight?
Meg- I hate late nights with the girls cause I always find crap sleeping with it. How is your sister doing?
Tarkine- Are you still booked in for sleep school? When do you think you'll get in?
Emily been waking way too ealry for me last few mornings, wakes between 5.30 and 6 and ready to play. Not me!
-
Ali - for you and DD darl. Sounds horrible. Usually gastro only lasts a day or two right??? Not sure but I'm hoping you both feel much better by now.
Lilima - I hope DD sleeps better for you tonight - even though you're at your mum's. DS went to bed 90 mins later than usual tonight because it was DP's christmas work party and we went for the first bit and then I got talked into staying to have a meal and I'm freaking out that we'll have a rough one now. He's gone down ok but sometimes he will sleep alright for 40mins and then wake howling.
Shell - Yeah, not a fan of early wake ups here either. DS liking the 6am start lately whereas his mum much prefers the 7am!!
Malyna - How is DS sleeping the past few nights?
AFM - I went out this morning for 2.5hours without DS!!! It's so rare it's notable. I got heaps done but STILL have christmas present shopping to do. Starting to get annoyed at how long it's taking!
-
oh no ali :( hope your both on the mend soon
malyna how did A go in the cot last night?
shell yuk too early!! M was up at 6am this morning too!!
kaz woot onthe 2.5 hours! hope you grabbed yourself a coffee and a sit down alone!
meg hope tonight is a good one for you
pinny how did L go last night???? repeat performance??
AFU sleep sucks here!! M fed at 10.30pm and 2.30am (i think) but took a few goes to settle, then up at 6am, so was ok, tonight didnt want to go down which is very very rare, i had to stay in her room and continuously lay her back down as she kept sitting up, she gave up after about 15 mins so i hid at the end of her cot til she went to sleep, about 20 mins then snuck out, can only imagine what tonight may hold
-
Even tho she wakes early I refuse to get up at that time! Give her a bottle let her play and eventually she goes back to sleep. Luckily she is happy to do that. So then I can wait til 7.30 to get up!
-
arrh that all right then!!
sigh... sophie just fell out of bed and is whinging, i can only bet millie will be up soon
-
Ali - hope you are on the mend soon hun!
Hi everyone! Sorry we are so sleep deprived at the moment that I can hardly think - and I have to drive to Adelaide on Wednesday! Not sure how that is going to work!
Argh! J just woke - sorry got to run!
-
i hope not by yourself nai :o !!
missy was up 4 times last night *yawn* but at least she settled well everytime, she was soooo sleepy on the boob though
-
Olive- That is alot of wakes. Is it a wonder week or more teeth? Hope she has some good day sleeps today
Kaz- Its so weird going shopping without them. I feel naked without my pram now! I have actually found it has come in handy on occasions to get through crowds and also store all the bags in. I am pretty sure all the extended trading starts now so hopefully there is some near your town.
Nai- How long is the drive to Adelaide? Will DP be with you?
Pinny, Malina & Lilima - thanks for the tips about the gastro.
We were going to cancel last night but as I was feeling better late arvo we told them that they could come (it was just DP's dad and sister) but it would be at their own risk!!!! It actually went quite well. I just had a plain bread roll as didnt want to risk anyhting else. WE finally got a family photo with DP, DD our dogs and myself which is great. But now I know why they say never work with children and small dogs!!! Trying to get everyone to look at teh camera at the same time was hard work!!
Poor DP is so so so sick! I have never seen him like this. He was throwing up all night Cant even keep water down. I am goign to go to the chemist soon and get him something as he has it worse thatn any of us had it. I just really hope we are all better by Wed!
Thanks for all your lovely support :grouphug: BBL
-
glad your feeling better, sorry DP has it now!!
we dont have any teeth yet!! thinking though that is the issue
-
Hey all,
Ali - you poor thing, you guys are having a rough time at the moment! Hope DP is feeling better soon and still not sick sick. Just before Chrissy and your trip up to the Gold Coast too!
Olive - yawn, four times! I'd be delirious... Any ominous white lines on her gums??
Nai - take your time on the drive. Have lots of stops, and sugar in the car!! Had a family Christmas lunch today in Essendon and on the drive home to my house near the end of the Ring Rd DH fell asleep, DD cried the whole way home and I was almost beside myself. Not a fun trip and only 40 mins! Can't imagine going all the way to Adelaide or somewhere like that!!! Get some rest!!!!!
Shell - sounds like what I do, Isabel has been waking between 4 and 6am, I give her a quick feed and put her back in her cot, she chats a little bit then goes back to sleep til 8am... bliss.
Kaz - woooo on the free time without DS! You wouldn't have known yourself. Hope you enjoyed the time alone!
Lilima - I hear ya. Isabel gets that howling thing going on too, where she just won't be comforted. It is so tough. Hope last night was better and that tonight has been too.
Malyna - lol @ co-sleeping cat! My cat gives me the irrates sometimes and I just boot her off the bed. Sorry A is still having sleep issues - when is the sleep clinic? Hang in there hun!
Hi to everyone else!!
AFM: going ok here, feeling exhausted (as we all are!) and a little stressed about scan on Tues. Will let you know how it goes.
Can't believe Christmas is Friday!!!
:grouphug:
-
Last night wasn't too bad with E. She went down with a few tears, but I accidentally woke her at about 9pm, and she was SO upset, and cried for about and hour. Cuddling didn't even seem to help. After that, she slept till 6:30 this morning so that was OK. J on the other hand, has had too many late nights, and now we are struggling to get him to bed before 8pm, and he is sleeping till 9am. (He is usually up between 6:30 and 7) *sigh*
Shell - I ignore E too. I can usually manage to ignore her till about 7am ish, she just chats to herself.
Olive - How did it go last night?
Ali - Hope DP gets better soon.
Nai - How have your kids been sleeping the past few days?
My sister has been put on anti D's as she is struggling with anxiety. She is currently in a MBU. I visited her today. She is very tired, but feeling well supported. I think that there is a fine line between depression and sleep deprivation, and honestly, I think hers is more sleep deprivation. she is exhausted. The bub is basically up all day, then up every 3 hours overnight I have said that I will take bub overnight so that she can have a rest, but the bub won't take the bottle, and her hubby thinks it would be strange for me to feed her. I think it would be sort of weird, but would do it if it meant she would get a rest. what does everyone else think?
-
:hello:
Im trying to catch up....bear with me :hide:
-
Ali - hun I hope your DP is feeling better soon. Sounds horrible. I'm glad your pre-Christmas Christmas went well though and :leap: on the family photo!! They are hard work!
Nai - hun I hope you get more sleep before the big drive!!
OP - Be thinking of you tomorrow hun. I'm sure all will be fine
Lilima - I'm sorry your sister is having a rough time but glad she's getting the support she needs. I completely agree with you about the sleep/depression link. A lot of the symptoms or side effects are common to both. In regards to the feeding, I wouldn't hesitate to feed my sisters baby (if she had one) and I wouldn't think it was weird at all but I would be guided by her and her partner's thoughts on it (as I'm sure you will be). The only other thought I've got is to wonder if that might muck around with your sisters supply at all? From memory that bub is only a week or two old? As long as her supply is established and she expresses before bed or something there shouldn't be too much of a problem for one night. It must be hard to see her like this. I hope things improve for her soon. Take care.
Hi to everyone else!!!
AFU - Had a good start to the night last night, DS stayed asleep until after midnight but then kept waking and fed three times in three hours :o Then he slept til after 7am. So random. Not sure what the problem was, doubt it was teeth though. He's really started rolling round and moving on the floor the last week or so. I'm starting to realise how much stuff he can get to that he shouldn't have now!!
-
kaz - My sis's bub is 4 months old, so Bf is well established.
I will give her a call in a minute to see how she is today.
Nai - I was wondering if you could give me some tips about what I should be doing with Emilia in the pool for water awareness? It has been so long since I had J in the the pool at that age, that I have forgotten what i should be doing with her. she will start lessons at the start of next year.
-
Meg- how long do you think she'll be in there for. I agree about the fine line. After all sleep deprivation is a form of torture. With the feeding have a chat with her and her husband, as long as you're all comfortable with it.
Kaz- as the start doing more and more you realise how much more you need to move. I remember we used to put things up on the bench then she started reaching and we'd have to move them further and further, lol.
RR- Hi! Lots to catch up on in here, tho prolly half of its been on FB, lol.
OP- Good luck with your scan tomor, I can understand why you'd be feeling stressed, I'm sure all will be fine, you'd be pretty unlucky to get a worrying report again.
Ali- how are you all doing? When do you leave for gold coast? You'd want to be feeling pretty good for the drive. Hope you're all well.
Nai- you going for a holiday there? Do you have family there or something? I so hate long drives. No way could I do it!
-
Lilima - Sorry - it must have been someone else from this group that became an aunty again more recently than you. I still haven't recovered my baby brain! I hope she's doing better today.
-
Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA with sleep deprivation and trying to get packed to go away... Shel, we have relatives in Adelaide so we go over every 2nd year for Christmas. Anyway our news is that Juliette is finally on the move - not quite crawling but forwardly mobile nonetheless. I have put a video up on FB :D
Meg - how is your sister? Have you decided on the feeding thing? I would feel weird but I would do it if needed. The only thing is that your milk is for a 10m old and her baby is younger so it might be different nutritionally for her needs - although people tandem feed without that being an issue :dunno:
With the water awareness I would start with a cup of water in the bath and do the "ready, 1, 2, 3" and tip the water over her head and face quickly. She will learn to hold her breath on the 3 and it will prepare her for submersion in the water. The other thing is to have her in a big bath where you can hold her in a float so she gets the feeling of weightlessness - or take her to the pool and do it. Also get her splashing so she gets used to being splashed in the face etc.
OP - good luck with the scan! Let us know how you go.
-
Hi all! I feel like it's been ages since I last posted! Sounds like we're all having sleep issues! Lets see how much I can recall...
OP, good luck for the scan today :)
Ali, how is DP? Have a great time away!
Pinny...I know this was a while ago, but woohoo on L's sleeping through! Can he teach my L please!???
Megie, how is your sister doing? Is E's croup better? And J's behaviour? I think it's really lovely of you to offer to feed your neice. Is it just your bil that has an issue? I know my dp would be weird about it too if someone else fed L. I guess they may think it's too much of an intimate thing? :dunno:
Nai, woohoo on the moving! Go J!! Have a great time in Adelaide, hope you can rest up before the long drive. Sorry if you already mentioned...but will you be trying to do it all in one drive, or you stopping somewhere to sleep on the way?
Kaz, yay on J moving :D Time to baby proof!
Shell...have you been engaged for some time...or have I missed something big?? I just saw DF in your sig before but I always thought it said DP!!?
Olive, how is M going with her sleeps? I have to do the sneaking out of the room too!
Det, wow at L cutting a molar! Hope xmas isn't too hectic.
Eek, can't remember much else off the top of my head...hi to everyone I missed!
AFU...umm L is pretty much same old. Nappy changes and bath times are like a huge battle though and I don't know why :( He just screams like something is wrong... when I bath him he won't sit down he stands...and screams. I have to hold him up while dp washes him down with a face washer. It's ridiculous! He just stiffens up and won't sit. Nappy changes the same deal...I lay him down and he automatically starts screaming and kicking or rolling. I don't understand!! He use to love both of these things!
What else...he's pretty much eating what I'm eating now, just cut up smaller, so that is one thing that makes life easier...I don't have to prepare separate meals! His 6th tooth is almost through, he has 2 bottom and 4 top.
Oh and some exciting news...my mum (who we live with) is getting renos done and has just signed a contract to get a pool built :D I told her we will never be moving out! It will hopefully be done by end up feb so L might have a pool party for his first birthday! Sooo excited!
Anyway, that's all from us. L has been asleep next to me that whole time I was reading catching up on posts and while I was typing this. Any bet he wakes up now! We are off to Chaddy when dp gets home from work to finish off the xmas shopping. Then going to his dad's to see his elderly grandparents (L's great grand parents) that are down from the country for christmas. If I don't get back here sooner, have a great christmas everyone and happy first christmas to all our bubbas! xox
-
A selfish post- just need to get it out!!
I have had the worst 48 hours with L's sleep! He just won't settle, last night did not go to sleep till 1pm!!!! Just shocking, a velcro baby too , doesn't want to be put down. Cries when I put him down and is just not himself. Not sure what is going on!!! I'm tired and just don't have the energy to do stuff!! The thought of cooking dinner seems just too hard, might have to get Dh to do it. Feel bad though coz he has been at work all day..
I think the 8 hours sleep in a row were a once off here!!!
Sorry for the winge just feeling so crappy atm!!!
-
Oh Pinny, you poor thing! You must be going slowly insane. Really hope things improve for you!
Holly - have fun with Chaddy, if that is possible at this time of year! Good effort on your post, I was impressed :D We're trying to feed Isabel the same stuff as us too... but sometimes we eat later and I'm stuck for what to do for her! Get more organised I guess!!
Oh by the way we are having massive nappy change issues too. We have to distract her with a special toys that she's not normally allowed... like keys, or a tin of mints that is all sealed up so she can't open it but it makes a good noise. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I feel your pain.
Nai - the end is near, two mobile girls now!!! :D Yay though!
Meg, how's your sis? I hadn't thought about feeding another bub TBH! I know it is common all around the world and I think the Mercy were looking to or might already have set up a breast milk bank. I think it is a lovely thing to offer... just remind your BIL that we all drink random cows' BM!!Let us know what you decide.
Kaz - how's J's sleeping going?? I agree, it does seem very random with their patterns. I'm so glad there are other bubs in here doing the same as Isabel - ie, doing whatever they want and not having a pattern!
RR - Hi!! Nice to see you :D
Hi to everyone else!
AFM: Our scan went really really well. Same sonographer as last time and basically as soon as he put the thing on my belly and found bubs he said it looked much better than last time. He couldn't get an actual nuchal fold measurement but he could see it was small so we were immediately relieved!
Bubs was doing a headstand for some reason so he had to do an internal to get a good picture and do the measurement. I was like :o "never had an internal!" So that was an experience! But he got beautiful measurements - measured around 2mm which was less than a third of what it was with DD. I was worried that was still high but he said it was good - and I've just phoned through to find out our risk rating which is 1:4650!
So all good - apart from the internal thing, ick!
He also said he had a good idea of the gender... but he said it is only 80% accurate... he doesn't like to tell people because people don't like it if it is wrong... so he may or may not have told us... ;)
-
OP- Yay on the scan!!! I got told with DD at the early scan too and they were wrong, out of the 4 ppl I know who have been told at 12/13 weeks the gender of their babies 3 out of 4 were wrong, so just keep that in mind if he did or did not tell you;)
Holly- Have fun at chaddy, hope you get it all done!
ANd I just had a bath with L and can see another two teeth almost ready to pop through, he only just got the top ones so I wasn't really looking for anymore but looks like he will have two more very soon, may explain the past few days though!!
-
Pinny - that sounds like a nightmare couple of days you've had. Hopefully it won't be long before he's back to himself though if the teeth were causing it.
OP - Yay on the scan but bluurrgh on the internal!! Great news.
Holly - no idea on the bath thing with L. Sorry. Not heard of that before - hopefully its just a phase though. Resisting nappy changes is common at this age so maybe he's just really getting into it during baths too? Have fun shopping!
-
Pinny- how did last night go? I hope its just the teeth and then things settle.
OP- Ooh are you going to share? We got told with Ash at 12 week scan that she was a girl, he said he thought 90% accurate and he was right. Glad the odds came back great, must be such load off your mind now.
Holly- not sure on that, maybe try showering with him? See if he is better with that. My nephew was the same for ages he would scream and my sister had to resort to giving him sponge downs instead. Maybe his penis is sensitive or something? I don't know much bout boy bits.
I feel 2 big bumps on Ems lower gums so maybe finally we will see a tooth.
-
Well girls we are off very soon to Qld.
All of you have a great Christmas with the bubbas and other chidren and family of course. Will be tinking of you all.
May be in touch on FB as I can access that from my phone but I think BB could be too expensive as ithas too much download to access from my phone.
Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you for all your support and friendship this year :grouphug:
-
Ali - Have a great trip.
OP - Glad the scan went well. A good relief for CHristmas! Was DD's measurements high last time? I'm betting on a boy this time.
Holly - Hmm Don't know about the standing thing. Maybe just shower him for a while and give the bath a break?
my sis is really nit doing very well at all. She is having severe panic attacks, and is not sleeping. She looks like a zombie. The bub os doing ok though. So it looks like it may be an non issue as she is going to have to stay in the MBU for a fair while yet. She is coming home for Christmas and her DH is staying there Christmas night, but she is really not well.
Pinny -Looks like teeth are the issue.
Shell - So Em looks like having a few chompers soon.
E was up for over 2 hours last night. She keeps standing up. GO in and put her down, and then she is up again howling! She seems to do this about twice a week. I try and put her in with me, and she mucks around, laughing and touching me, so I put her back in her own bed, only for her to howl. In the end I just have to shut the door and leave her. (sorry if I offend anyone who doesn't believe in letting a baby CIO, but honetly there is nothing else I can do for her. She's clean, she's not sick, not in pain, not hungry, she just wants to play with me.)

Lilima - Sounds frustrating that E does that. J doesn't know how to pull himself up yet but I think we'll have the same shenanigans here when he works it out. I'm also really sorry that your sister is not travelling so well. It must be hard to watch her so unwell, espeically at this time of year. I hope she is able to get the treatment she needs in the MBU and that she makes a full and speedy recovery.
Ali - Have a good trip darl! Drive safely (I know you will).
Shell - ooh teeth in time for Christmas??? J doesn't have any either and people are amazed that he can chew without them - no idea why they find that fascinating! I hope they come through with a minimum of fuss.
AFM - Going to wish you and your families all a very merry Christmas now. Got family descending tomorrow and heaps to do this afternoon when J wakes up so I'm not sure if I'll be back in here for a few days. I really REALLY hope you all have a magical first Christmas morning with your bubs and a very special day. Drive safely on the roads too girls. xx
