Joey - you're right the longer sleeps at night are brilliant. Its helping me catch up on many many lost hours over the past 5 weeks which are much needed due to the problems we had. My general well-being has taken a big dive becuase of the stress and sleep deprivation.

Ali - I think it will take me a while to get over the guilt thing, but I will get there. TIme is too precious to waste on those things, but I know it will linger in the back of my mind for a while yet.

Thrush for me was excruciating. My nipples were very red and had a shiny, raw appearance. The pain was like people sticking pins into my nipples ALL the time, not just when expressing. And the cracks / blisters I had were not healing - it will slow any healing down a lot. Sounds divine doesnt it. They treated me first with Daktarin Gel, and then with Gentian Violet which is a purple topical paint - its a bit old school, but a very effective antifungal agent. It just stains your nipples bright purple for a few days. Lucky my partner & I could have a good laugh about it!
