Hi Girls

Warning - need to vent about christmas. Months ago I put it out there that we were having christmas lunch here at home & all were welcome. We wanted to do this for Alyssa's first christmas. I know she doesn't understand, but photo's will tell her in years to come. Anyway, the outlaws weren't coming as they were going to SIL place in brisbane due to child changeover times (divorced parents); so that annoyed us alot as there was such a big deal made about said SIL's son's first christmas and now it was like ours didn't matter. So anyway, my family are coming & that is nice. So today (a week out!!) we get a call from FIL to say that everythings changed and now lunch is at their house with SIL + kids, + grandma + aunts & uncles. WTF??!!! I am ropeable at the moment. They were asking what our plans are for christmas........well refer to your emails in September people. Seriously do they think I'm just going to say sorry my family, we have changed the day around now. Unbelievable. Sorry, end of vent. I'm quite sure DH will be on the same page as me and just as mad.

I think it must be time for a routine change for young Alyssa. She is having barely any of her first bottle of the day & then today refused to eat brekkie (not like her). She has started really mucking around with the bottle during feeds and not drinking much milk, so I think I need to space it out. I'm trying to work out though whether it would be best to keep food at traditional food eating times (eg brekkie at 6am, lunch at noon & dinner at 5pm [for her]) & bottles in between + water, or whether to just drop her 530am bottle and keep the other 3 where they are (10am, 2pm & 6pm). What do you all think?

Sunshine I hope you hear back about Sheridan soon. That's great to hear that she's crawling. Maybe it will make her sleepier and she will get better on her own. You can hope.

I'm off to make a slice while the LO is asleep. We have visitors with their 2 kids arriving at 9am tommorrow. Might fit in well with their schedule but not so much with ours!! Oh well, what can you do. Work christmas party this afternoon. Hopefully there's no bad storms like yesterday. Catch ya xo
