doodlebug - snap ... J man, DH and I all have coughs and colds, courtesy of Melbourne's mecurial weather ... 35 degrees one day, 18 degrees the next (and 8 degrees when I'm standing waiting for my train to arrive!) etc ...

so J man is a snot factory with a nasty cough, and DH and I are bother pretty under the weather ... and J man has discovered squealing this week too, much to DH's delight ... ah me, must be Christmas ...

anyone got any tips for beating colds and coughs? from what we hear, humidifiers, nose suctioners, vaporisers, cough medicines etc only treat the symptoms, and don't actually lead to bub getting over the cold any quicker ... and so letting the cold run its course might be kinder in the long run, as their immune system gets better, etc ...

what do you ladies find/do?
