Hi everyone and Merry Christmas! Sounds like those that have posted had a reasonably good day. Mine was pretty good but full on as all of DH family has been here... 2 brothers, 2 sisters, partners, his mum & dad plus there are 2 kids and of course my little Leila. Most of them only stayed one or two nights but we still have his parents, one sister her husband and their 2 kids here so it is a very full, busy and noisy house! Leila is doing surprisingly well with all of the noise and stimulation. Everyone adores her so DH and I have to fight everyone else just to get a cuddle! Lucky I am breastfeeding so I still get plenty of time with my little girl.

Rach, hope you are feeling better and great news on the big sleep! Leila has been a really good sleeper for the past couple of weeks, usually going doing anywhere between 9-11pm and then sleeping for at least 6 hours straight but often 7 and once we got 8 1/2 hours! Makes a huge difference. Usually she wakes up between 4-6am for a feed so at that early hour I can go back to sleep again afterwards which is nice and keeps me sane!

Well I was mightly shocked today when AF arrived! Didn't think I'd see her for quite a while. I have PCOS and rarely get AF so I thought for sure while BF that I wouldn't have to worry about it. Guess I'll have to start on the mini pill that my dr gave me now

Rach - aww hun, hope ypu are feeling better. yay on the sleep. Ive been pretty lucky to, Evangeline sleeps usually 8hrs from the moment i put her down.

DD - lol, gotta love kids hyped up on sugar.

Stevie - your a good girl, im still yet to exercise, i really can't be bothered.

A big to everyone else. well the kids got spoilt. Evangeline toys have taken over my lounge room, i had to pull down the xmas tree to fit them all in Last few nights she has been very unsettled, not sure why, but DH has been really good and takes her in the morning so i can get an xtra hr zzzz. He is such a good man, Other then that we all had a good xmas.

Rach75- You poor things! A little medicine is ok in cases like yours and Lukes The more sleep he gets the better he'll be you too woman! So when Dh gets home take some time out.

rach2281- Hope your xmas was as good as it could be You would have been thinking of your angel princess no doubt yet have Eva here with you, my heart goes out to you. My heart was breaking all day for my dad so I cant even imagine what it was like for you.
Good to hear babies got spoilt! If you're anything like me you'll be broke now haha wish santa was true. So he could spend all his money and put all those damn toys together!

fi- Sounds like you had a full on xmas! You're stronger then I am couldn't deal with all those ppl in my house let alone the il's! haha
Im amazed I have af back too!

Girls I haven't stopped bleeding???? Its as if I have blead after giving birth for weeks! Then now its turned into my af??? Is this normal? I cant quite remember what happened after having Annabelle.
Lucy is doing well growing VERY quick!
Xmas was sucky and seems it may from now on. But the wine helped I got spoilt and so did my girls.
Nothing was said about my girls looks at the inlaws which blew my mind...maybe I was to drunk to realise haha

Kass: im so sorry to hear your chrissy was tough i had a very emotional and terrible christmas last year ( i ended up drinking a whole bottle of barcadi by myself ... SOO sick the next day )
Im QLD here... will have to make a date sometime to catch up with Boomba, i dont live near anyone else (oops and shades )

Speaking of Shades, how you goin there sweet? havent heard from you in awhile. xxx

Rach75 im sorry to hear of you and your little man being sick its sucks when its just one of you let alone both take it as easy as you can xx

I must be the WORST mother on the planet.. but Miss A got nothing for christmas off us she got spoilt by the rest of the family, but we are so broke and really she doesnt know... im super excited about next year tho

also Kass, Im with Rach, you shouldnt stil be bleeding, i bled til just over 6 weeks (and by then it wasnt even heavy, i didnt even have to wear a pad just a liner) i havent gotten AF yet and i know its been THAT long since ive seen her that ive kinda forgetten the little hints she gives just before her arrival but the last few days just been feelin a little bloated and crampy every now and then. one of my girlfrends got hers when her son was 2 months and she's got it again since and he's only 4.5 months, but she said he gets really fussy when she has AF, is this the same for everyone? or only some people? Ali hasnt been any different, at the moment im trying to get my supply back to normal and not giving her as much formula and so im feeding her more often but not as long (apparently this is better at boosting your supply than just haveing her on for ages and ages like i was doing last week)so far so good with that too btw i am feeling fuller sooner, i emailed ABA yesterday afternoon and explained my situationa and a lovely lady emailed me back this morning and gave me some really good info that has really helped me see things better
Im clearing out Miss A's cot today (its full of stuffed toys, ill take a pic and put it on FB, its all reptiles hehe except one bear that was DHs when he was little- which i think is soo cool) anyway so im clearing it out coz im thinking of trying her in her cot tonight, now she's only in the next room but i dont have a monitor yet, sometimes even when she's in the bassinet next to me i dont wake up right away when she yellingout that she's ready to be up (terrible i know) so should i wait til i have a monitor before i put her even further away from me coz i dont want her to have to start screaming and get herself all worked up for me to have to hear her and come in, thats not a good start to the day for either of us lol.

anyway am off to do a little housework, gotta love that lol
    xxx
