Oh now I get it LOL I seen Dory's post first saying congratulations about the purple which totally had me confused... now it makes sense lol.... so

    CONGRATULATIONS Jen and co

So glad to hear everything went well with your scan. Wow - your half way there Jen... Were you expecting a girl? I was expecting this one to be boy... but now I'm not so sure... maybe because of the responses I get when I ask people what they think... ! We'll see, time will tell. You have probably already mentioned this in the thread but I want to ask when you first started to feel baby move. I have read that it can be anytime between 15-22 weeks, most people I think are actually feeling it closer to the 15 week mark??? It's been so long since I had a little one in my belly that I felt moving around. 15 weeks is going to be a bit hairy for me and mine, so I am hoping we will start to feel movements by then. But my ob told me at my appointment you could have to wait until about 20 weeks. But the sonographer at 20 weeks with Jayden thought I was nuts for thinking that I had to wait that long.... hmmm confusing.... So c'mon help me out here, I thought I felt something the other night, but it must have been just wind.

Dory what were your dates when you started to feel bubs moving... Dexy you too... ? ? ?

Trying to stay positive myself... staying busy with getting ready for the BIG move (well I say BIG but we're only moving a few streets away lol) so yes that helps to keep my mind from less constructive thoughts, but gee its tiring getting everything organised. I was debating with myself weather to continue with another room today or take a rest... Opted for the first choice, just want to get everything done, then relax about it all... so planning to scrub the laundry and kitchen today, and box up what I can. I have done the lounge room and apart from the lounge suite and the tv/cabinet, there is not much else left, it looks so bare... and done the garden yesterday... hi ho hi ho its off to work I go...

Look forward to hear more from everyone...

    ...until then, take care... !

    Thanks guys

Gem - I was *hoping* for a girl lol we DTD at the right time even though we didn't plan it that month (Silly me thought I'd O'd early not late lol). So now I'll have one of each, and my little family will be complete (hubby doesn't want any more kids... and he has plans to get the snip after this one's born lol)
I first started feeling this one move at 10 & 1/2 weeks... and everyone tells me I was just feeling gas lol and that it was too early, but it was confirmed during my 12wk scan when I saw it move on the screen and felt it move at the same time lol. Was like a tiny little wriggly feeling just behind my pelvic bone.
With DS I started getting a tickling feeling around 14wks, but didn't realise it was him until 16 & 1/2 weeks at my engagement party when he followed the tickling feeling with a little kick.

I tell you what though, this little girl is sooo much more active than her brother was! I get belted up every day (must be those long legs lol) and she has a fascination with opening and closing her hands, so when I feel her fidgeting in there I'm pretty sure that's what she's up to lol. At this stage with DS I was getting tiny little kicks and bumps, but this little girl goes all out and I can already feel the kicks with my hand... kinda scary when I think about it lol. Was talking to hubby last night and he thinks she's going to be a kickboxer lol could get rather interesting as DS has the rugby tackles and dives down pat already lol

Oh, and it seems the heartreate thing to determine gender was correct for me... DS had a heartrate of around 180 for the entire pregnancy, this one had a heartrate yesterday of 139, and the highest she ever had was 156 at 9wks, so it seems my boys tend to have higher heartrates than my girls lol
Also makes me think that I was right about my first angel being a boy as his heartrate was 189 at 6 & 1/2 weeks, but that could have also been because of his heart issues.

Hope everyone is doing well - won't be long until there is 3 little girls earthside

Oh Wow Jen, these fluttery feelings that I have could really be bub, I try not to get to excited about it because I am not real sure, interesting you say about 10.5 weeks too though. I felt it several times the other day and a couple yesterday but I haven't noticed it today, maybe coz I haven't had a moment alone today? I'll see if it happens tonight when I am relaxing as that was what I was doing the first time I noticed it the other day. I told DH what I felt but didn't indicate that it was bubs yet. So now he gently pats and rubs my belly and says hello butterfly cute. I hope if it is bubs that it gets stronger quickly as I need all the reassurance I can get. So when my parents and the in-laws ask how things are going I can be reassuring to them too.

Thats interesting what you say about the heart rate. I'm pretty sure I have all these details from my older 3 children somewhere, but I'm not sure which of the "kept for later" boxes it is in. So mostly I am going by memory with all the details. But this bub had a heart rate of 163 at 10 weeks ans 153 at 7 weeks.

Did you get a DVD of your scans? I had one made of Jayden at 13 weeks, but I don't think they are doing it anymore. Plus I will be going into the hospital in town for these scans rather than the local hospital as I did with Jayden. The last reassurance scan we had at 10 weeks, we didn't get a picture to bring home but was glad to see bubs happy and growing quickly. I think our next scan (NT) is monday week (12 weeks). Then we have another scan at 15 weeks booked. We have our scan at 20 weeks booked too but if I am not feeling movements between 15-20 weeks I will hound them for another one.

Anyways, been dribbling on a bit haven't I lol, hope everyone is doing well.

Dory you have reached the 6 week mark ! !

Dexy how is things going with you and bubs?

Gem - that is awesome.... GL with your SCAN next week...

Dexy - how are you going?

Jenna - hello there - so nice to see your ticker.

I just wanted to let you know I have finally posted a pic of Hannah in my sig - yay. I am proud as can be of myself and our little girl. She is having a grand day today - very sleepy - the past 5 have not been, so this is bliss! It is so nice when she wakes up and just lies cooing and gaaing to herself, and when I pop my head over the side of the bassinette, she breaks into a great big gummy smiles that even makes her eyes crinkle in the corners. OMG, my heart just melts with pride and love. I didn't realise it could be this awesome.

    Belly rubs.

    Cool

    Darlings!

How naughty am I?!? Its been almost 3 weeks since I have dropped in to share my love with you all! I'm expecting the little man to wake any second but desperatley just wanted to drop in....

Motherhood has had me running off my feet to say the least, but I'm loving it!

Jen - A GIRL! How super! Congrats!

Gem - How are you precious? I felt movements at 14 weeks - Only 1 but I suspected it was an early bub wriggle & they progressivley got more obvious from there

Dory - My darling! How is our sweet little Hannah? Kiss the gorgeous girl for me! Certainly didnt have the birth we had 'planned' & had a scary moment there too, but god the outcome was super! The birth plan never left the suitcase! DH asked me once all was said & done what we should do with it - I said BIN IT!

So long story super short - 15 hour labour! (after 2hours 56 minutes with DS!) & ****! was it labour! ( Excuse the french! ) A much loved epidural - Almost an emergency Cesar & 2 hours & 40 minutes of pushing! But goodness, it was well worth every minute! I cried when Tait arrived & then the reality hit me of how long the road had been & my thoughts were shared with our little angels - So I cried a little more...

Taity Cakes as he is affectionatley called, or Nooshi, is just beautiful. Feeding well, sleeping well & thriving! We had a few day with major wind issues, but I have changed him to an anti colic formula & things seem to be on the improve

My only advise to you all - Trust your own instincts! Health Nurses & GP's dont know everything.

Love to each of you & I will do my best to call in again very soon

Dexy - good to hear from you and that Taity Cakes, is going so well... you sound super happy and content. Hannah Bear is now smiling and cooing, it is so impossibly cute and melts my heart. She is unsettled this arvo and I can hear DH shusshing her and that is also impossibly cute. What's even better is she is responding to him..... but I am not taking it personally. I am just glad he gets the chance to do it as I do it most of the other times....

Gem - good luck tomorrow with your scan - thinking of you.

Jenna - how is the purple little bump going?

Dexy interesting about the anti colic formula - I might try that - Hannah seems to have periods of being unsettled that last for a few hours and I wonder what causes it. It's hard on her and on us, as there is very little that seems to help. Can't wait to see a pic - but it took me 6 or 7 weeks to get one up ( and to work out how to do it). Oh and Hannah smiled at the prospect of Dexy & Taity cake hugs too! Sending some back to you.

    Take care all.

Aww Dexy how beautiful. I am sitting at the laptop trying to hold in those tears. What a special moment when Taity Cakes was born. It is so good to hear from you and from your words you sound like you are enjoying every moment of your new journey. Yes I have learned not to take doctors words to heart. I don't know why but I am finding that it is very difficult these days to be a pregnant women and dealing with the many medical staff. I look forward to hear more about how you and your wonderful family are getting on.

Dory enjoy your moments when DH is doing his bit, how wonderful for you! He is really looking after you and bubs, it is great to hear.

Jen how are you getting along? I haven't been in for a bit but wow how our tickers are ticking along...

AFM I went for 12 week scan on monday. I was dissapointed that I had to drive so much further this time and I couldn't get a DVD. I was busting badly for the loo, it was actually hurting, and they made me wait. But we got to see bubs which is the main thing. Gee where do I start lol. Well for 35 minutes of scan time I think bubs stopped for about 1 minute to rest, other than that he was actively cart-wheeling, rolling, waving, flipping, putting his hands up by his face. He made it very hard to get measurements, but think they got what they need in the end. I was expecting that bubs would be just under 6cm crown to rump, but he measured 7.1cm and for 12w2d he measured 13w2d. HB was 153bpm, measurement for the back of the neck was just under 2mm which is great. Not sure if they will change my dates, I am thinking they will probably just leave it as it is.

Won't be in much, moving this w/end. Hope all is well. Take care.

Gem - hopefully not too busy... but bet you are exhausted. It's exciting setting up in a new house but takes a while to remember where everything is. lol.

Is it bed time yet? Aww I just got out of bed a few hours ago and my eyes keep trying to close already. I am sooooooooooo tired from this move. We have done so much, still a little more to go but most things have now found a home. OMG I can't believe we fit all this stuff in our old house. Where did it all come from? We have a much much bigger house and we are struggling to fit everything

It is my boys 9th birthday today, so we gave him some presents to unwrap this morning. Cars, cars, and more cars, and a childs encyclopedia which he absolutely loved. It never seizes to amaze me how many cars my son has, yet he still gets so excited at new ones... lol funny.

I was surprised this morning when I looked at my ticker, with everything going on I forgot how far along we are. Someone asked me the other day and I stared at them blankly for a moment lol how embarrassing. It's funny how when things get really busy, you can forget about your pregnancy. As soon as I started wondering how our little one was going in there I started to feel sick... grrr

Glad the weather is a little cooler today we had two days in a row of 35, not sure where it came from because we were having an extended winter until the heat decided to hit, and what a time to hit. I must have jinxed us because I kept saying how it was going to rain all weekend, as that was what happened last time, I think we had forgotten what rain was before the last move lol.

Anyway ladies, I really must go and get these few last things sorted out, and I have to go to the shop for an ice cream birthday cake and we're getting pizza tonight so I get out of cooking hehe... hope everyone is doing well. Take care. xxx

    Hey,

Just came in to check on things, look at everyones tickers ticking along... I'm wondering where everyone has been as no one has posted in here since I was here last and no one posted in my BB group either, thought I might have scared everyone off lol... Is there something I don't no about? lol

How is little Hannah Bear and Taity Cakes and there beautiful mums? I hope everyone is doing fine. Jen how is your little bundle?

I am looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, we have a scan at 4pm... hoping everything is doing just fine in there with our little one. I think I feel movements but I'm not 100% sure. It will be interesting to see if the feelings I get correspond with bubs moving on the screen...

I finally started my christmas shopping today. I know I told everyone that I cancelled christmas this year but it never really works that way does it. It just seems like it has come up so quickly again, each year seems to get shorter and shorter.

The kids break up from school at the end of next week  that seems to get earlier every year too. Well my eldest DD basically finishes tomorrow. I honestly don't remember getting so much time off from school. I certainly don't remember so many christmas parties and the likes either. They're each having atleast 2 christmas parties at school for various reasons... and I'm getting hassled from the teachers about having an appointment next week before their christmas celebration. Teacher wants me to cancel my antenatal appointment so that my DD will be at the christmas party on time without any doubt. I suppose it was a good try, but no I won't be cancelling. I already cancelled an appointment for this afternoon so she could go to their choir this evening. I know we're leading into christmas now but does anyone else feel that when something comes up, everything comes up at the same time. My baby brain can't keep up lol.

Anyway, once again I think I have rambled on enough lol, hope to hear from you all soon.

Hey guys, just stopping in briefly as I realised I haven't posted for a while D'OH! lol I really have baby brain something chronic at the moment, took a bit of a break from BB again because of ongoing family issues and then when I did get back on couldn't remember where the thread was.

Things are going good here, had my OB appointment last week and found out my fundal height was measuring at 28wks... Not sure if I should be happy or sad, because I know my body definately won't be able to make it to 40wks with a bub THAT big lol

I'm getting regular kicks in the ribs now, she's head down and usually facing the front - she doesn't have much room to roll over at the moment, and hasn't done a somersault for about 8 weeks now lol.
I am sick of the punches and head butts in the cervix though, feels like she's going fall right out every time she does it lol and apparently my bladder makes a REALLY good punching bag lol

Very very different from DS, he was laid back and quiet compared to this one lol, his favouriote thing was kicking me in the kidneys though.

And no MS anymore, though I've been sick for 2 months now, first the flu, then the flu again and now a viral infection in my tonsils that has spread to my right ear causing inflamation and retraction of the eardrum... basically I've lost half my hearing in my right ear and what is left sounds like an echo lol it was funny to begin with but now that I've had it for a week I'm over it and it's driving me nuts, every time DS talks it sounds like he's using one of those kids microphone toys lol

Dexy - Good to hear from you darl, and Taite is just gorgeous! You're doing a wonderful job from the sounds of it

Dory - I can't believe Hannah is over 2 months old already! Time really is flying!

Gem - Glad things are well with you too.

If I don't post for a while, don't get worried lol If anything happened I'd force hubby to come on and post on my behalf, I just seem to be getting really distracted with Facebook and my Jewellery making at the moment lol

    Hi Guys!

So heres the deal - This kid leaves me time for nothing!!! Lol
My hair looks like crap, nails are unkept & if I dont get waxed somehow soon - I'm sure I will break a law of some description!

Gem & Jen my little baby ovens - So glad to hear your both getting along just great!
I know I'm not here often, but I love seeing how your going & hearing the latest when I pop in... I'm always thinking of you all.

Dory - How is my little Hannah Bear???

Tait is a handful to say the least! Just like his father was as a baby... Fights sleep all day long! But geez my Mr. Naughty Pants is cute!

    Love to you all,

Dexy - hang on sweet - it does get better... the 6 week mark is less than 2 weeks away! - DUH - Tait is 6 weeks!!!!

Gem - how did your scan go today?

Jenna - how's our purple grape?

Hannah is going really well. She is a bit like Tait - fights sleep most of the day, but I still go through the motions of our sleep routine, just in case. I might get an hour out of her if I am lucky, but she is great a night. I am loving this parenting thing now - after some really rough times at the begining. She is being christened on Sunday so lots of running around at the mo, and lots of fam about to descend... but then it will be over! Then christmas....
