    Mother Goose is a nurse
I gather someone was asking my credentials... I am currently a Registered Nurse (Div 1) in Victoria and before that I was an Ambo. I have a total of roughly 8 years (give or take) experience.

Jen, how is he? Did you end up back at the Dr? what did they say? I know you're worried hon, it is awful when they're sick. Hope he picks up soon.

He is still not much better, he picks up for a few hours and then hits bottom again. I thought the vomiting might be temp related, as he only does it when he is roasting, last night he got a bout of dihorrea, nothing yet this morning so i think it may be turning into gastro.... (me thinking the worst).
I will see how he goes today and if it comes to it will call the ambos!!

Thanks for all your help.. Oh not to mention Zhai has a horrendus cough and no other symptoms, where as Jett has everything else.. Wacco kids LOL

    Hi Scorpiomum
Tepid baths are a great way of bringing the temp down. Make sure that you keep the fluids up. Also you can alternate the panadol nurophen. Givew panadol then 3 yhours later give nurophen then 3 hours later back to the panadol and so on. If the temp stays above 39 for more than a few hours I would suggest another trip to the Dr/hospital

    Thanks Alan.

Well we worked out the problem, only coz i got a bout of it too, I think it was either a 24/48 hour bug. I started vomiting saturday, wasnt feeling 100% sunday, only just feeling a bit better today. Jett has a little touch of dihorrea, but seems to be eating and stuff now.

    Thanks heaps for your help!!
