Trish the twins are doing really well!
They're slowly catching Alex in height but they're still tiny where as he's a big chubba!!
Big gummy smiles and cute giggles and Charli has just started to roll over.
It's so odd to see them with alex becauyse while they look so different they definitely share some of the same of my family genetics
And mum's still going with the BFing and I'm so proud!! She's comp feeding because of low supply but with my brothers and I she gave up at 6, 8 & 10 weeks... and now with twins she's still going at 20.

Hi, I had my daughters ears pierced at 5months, I would have had them done earlier but hubby was to scared that it might do damage.(an over protective dad of his first born LOL) They've never had an infection and were always commented on how cute they are, my daughter is 5.5years now and her school allows a pair of studs or sleepers to be worn(something I never considered). I think little studs look great on baby girls and your friend could get different colours for her girls which would help her tell them apart.

Sounds like your mum is doing an awesome job. Good on her. Is she taking anything to help with her supply ? Like Fennogeek (sp?) or blessed thistle. They are both suposed to be good for milk supply.

i done some research regarding ear piercing, my mom had my ears pierced when i was 3 years old but he that was a long time ago but both me and my sister had some problems with the earings because we can only were gold or silver earings, so when my daughter was born i wanted to pierce her ears so badly but i kept on thinking about how much pain whe had when our earce was pierced, so i went and asked several people that does the ear piercing and al of them said that i you want to get your bubs ears pierced than you should do it as soon as possible al though it is still up to you but the reason why they said that is because if they are younger they do not have any pain the only reason why they cry is because of the noise of the gun that they use to pierce they ears so i then after thinking long about it had my daugthers ears pierced at 3 months old. she did grey but honestly only for 10 min. i did feel bad when the first earing went in and wonderd still if i am doing the right thing but then again the first one was in so had to have the other one done to. but if i know look back i am glad i did it, she slept well that night and so far had no problems with it. i will suggest that you use earings for sensitive ears or if you want to go for pure gold or silver. and go for studs and not the loop earings for the loop earings, well there tiny fingers might hook into it and well you can probably figure out what might happend when that happens. the orther thing if you do deside to get the ears pierced is that to keep the ear cleen where the studds are, clean it with spirits or those liqued that you used to clean bubs ambilical cord with when they were born. it is still up to you what you, but if you have earings your daugthers will def want to have some at a later stage so on that hand i will have they'r earse pierce know. hope that this will help you make up your mind. i know that it is very hard to deside. but on the other hand i read that someone said that piercing an ear is like an tactoo but honesly that is not really the case. if they do not want the earings on a later stage they can take it out and the hole will close at the end and if not no one will be able to notice that they had there earce pierce for they do not have any earings in.
