As for there being more risk than benefit with vaccinations, I think that is entirely untrue. Vaccines have been proven to reduce the RISK of many deadly childhood diseases (although they are not 100% effective...but is anything?). They are effective enough though to warrant government subsidies, WHO recommendation and vaccine programs in almost all developed countries. In fact, if more children in undeveloped nations had access to the kinds of vaccines we do, they wouldn't be such a high morbidity/illness rate from diseases such as polio.
