Wow Sarah. After that long wait, it was all quite quick once it started wasn't it!! It is so good that your beautiful baby girl is here and healthy, and that you are so at peace with the unexpected turn of events. Congratulations!

It was very quick in the end once she finaly decided to get her act together! The contractions didn't follow a normal pattern either, just very close together & full on from the start. I am having a few issues now a few weeks down the track that I'll debrief about soon, I'm not ready to do it just yet though.

And thank yu everyone for your comments. I know it was a long time coming, but I just needed the time to sit & write it all out. State of Origin was good timing cos Aaron was out watching it & both babies were in bed!

Sarah, both my labours were like that. Full on contractions from the get go!! I hope those issues aren't too serious - hugs.

Congrats on the birth of your beautiful girl!

I know what its like to have things not go according to plan. My birth plan went totally out the window and its taken me a while to make peace with that. I have made peace with it now but do still shake my head in disbelief over the whole thing.

Time heals everything and everyday when you look at your beautiful Juliette you'll know things worked out for the best.

aww hun I've been waiting for it too, I didn't see it at first .

I know you'll have to debrief after all the research you did & fight for your VBAC. BUT you did do an amazing job & were so much more in control this time.

*mwa* you are a brilliant mummy
