It is especially hard having a premie (my sis had my niece at 34+4) and she struggled to breastfeed, for many reasons... I am so pleased for you that you have been able to make this work.

Thanks I'm so determined this time because it didn't work out with Brendan (I expressed for 5.5 months for him, but my supply was just never really there)

^ I had the same problem with DD1, I struggled to express for 6 weeks and then it just dried up on its own Wish I'd known about these cookies back then!! I'm going to gather ingredients this afternoon so I can bake some tonight and give them a go

Oh, and dont forget that flaxseed meal is also know as linseed meal... And you can usually find it in the fridge section of the local health food shop.

Now, by 'thick cut' oats, what does that mean? Can I just use 'traditional' rolled oats (ie not 'quick' oats?? Or are they some special kind of oats that I'd need to track down?
