To be honest I would move with DH I dont know how I could libe apart from DH for weeks on end we like each others company so much, but if its working then its up to you. Have you discussed this with DH I know the beach sounds great but you wouldnt be living there all the time and there will be times that you need your DH company. The beach isnt everything. You have to think of the family until itself rather than move just because the area is better does your DD miss her dad and most of all do you miss him maybe list all the pros and cons of both moves and then discuss it as a family and think of all the money you could save to do things as a family when he isnt working.
good luck with your decision I hope my comment helps

Thank you so much for your quick reply

I think the decision it made, i want to be with my dh every night, the last few years has been so hard without him and everytime he goes back to work i always cry! i am sick of crying, i am sick of being alone, i am sick of missing him, i am sick of having to defend for myself, i am sick of being mummy, daddy, protector, fixer and running this whole house and family on my own! i am a married woman but most of the time i feel like a single mum

i am moving to where he is

thank you for your kind words they have helped heaps!

Sounds like all you needed was one person to agree with you. I would move to be with DH too.

    Good luck with the move!

    its very hard being alone
everyone kept telling me " it will get better as time goes on " ........yeah no!! it hasnt gotten any easier it breaks my heart everytime he has to go back!! DD misses him heaps to but she is sort of use to it IYKWIM, he has been doing it for so long that it doesnt really affect her that much.......plus she loves sleeping in mums bed when dads at work lol

i just needed to hear from someone that moving to a s*itty little town "is ok" and that dd will be fine, with the small school and nothing to do in the town! i grew up in a small town and it was that bad! plus on dh days off we can go to the beach

I was going to say I would move to DH too. Missing DH and Daddy is different to missing friends/shopping centres/the beach... You get the idea. If your heart says to be with him, then that is the right thing to do. And especially if you feel that DD would benefit from being in a smaller school too.

Good luck with getting everything moved! And you wouldn't really be alone, you've got all of us here on BB!

And moving to a s**tty little town and run down house is okay too. DD will have a ball, and you will all enjoy going to the beach together as a family.

same. we hated working apart, and that was before kids!
id move to the work town, then holiday at the beach when his week off and school holidays match up.
