yeah I second the nighty over trackies for the first 24hrs atleast, because of the catheter and it's hard to bend alot to pull down and pull up your pants.
I found that during the day if I was still in my pj's I felt a bit icky so some nice cassual 3/4 pants would be nice. I also found that the dressing gown, socks, jackets, long sleeves etc were a bit of over kill because they keep hospitals at a constant 21c but layering is great so you can take stuff off.
I took a boomerang pillow which was great for holding to your scar while bfing and great for sitting up in bed.
You can get a bulk pack of full brief undies (better known as the granny undies) from coles and Safeway real cheap so you can throw them away when your done.
tissues (if they don't have any in your room) and get hubby to put everything on the bed table close by so if you need tissues, book, water it's all handy and you don't ahve to buzz just so someone can hand you a tissue![]()
I love the idea of a lash tint that would be lovely.
Lip gloss/balm and tinted moisturiser will make you feel a bit more human and you can put that on while still in bed if it's close by. Plus those moisturising face wipes to make you feel fresh.
A nice hair clip/band for bfing as long hair gets in your eyes when looking down.
Breath mints.
Some comfy but pretty nursing shirts.
