My DD was 9lb 12oz and sometimes I wonder how big the next one might be, but I have heard of people delivering bigger and being ok. My labour was just under 3 hours and I had 3rd degree tearing but It was a great birth. You're right, even when I look back at photo's, my daughter doesn't look 'tiny' to me. It was great though, because I guess they're a bit easier to 'handle'. I don't think there's anything you can do to make them smaller but were you overdue last time? If you were, that might not happen next time and if your Dr is concerned about size they might offer a ceasar?
