Megs, not sure what affect B6 has on acidity???? Hadnt even thought about that!!!... but I will research it now. Some pre-natal vitamins already have B6, but not enough for lengthening LP. Mine have 750 micrograms but I am taking an extra 50 milligrams. Info I found said 50 -200 milligrams for LP. So i will start with 50 this month and see what the effect is, then up to 100 next month if it has done nothing.

I know its a lot of info to take in. And now I am taking 10 tablets a DAY! I hate swallowing them, it feels like it kind of contradicts the whole NATURAL conception/pregnancy/childbirth philosophy. But all except one (prescription drug) are natural things. I just have to keep reminding myself that these are good things, that my body really needs, and I just dont get them through natural means otherwise. And without them my chances of having a precious and healthy little baby (boy) are a lot lower.

GL Megs. Hope your TTC journey is as short as possible.

    New Here!!

    Hi,
Im new here and i will be trying for my DD in May. I already have 3 boys. I have been on the girl diet and taking supplements for the past 8 weeks but am extreamly nervous about my attempt. I can't decide weather to do a 3 day cut-off or a O+12 or maybe both just to cover my bases. What do you ladies think has better odds - a cuttoff or O+12??

Not sure Ezza as I am concentrating on 'boy techniques' but welcome, GL with whatever you choose.

    Hi Ezza,

I am also trying for a girl in May, at this stage I am going with the 3 day cut off, and have been changing my diet and taking supplements. I will have to read up more on the O+12 method. Although from what I have been reading on these forums I am thinking that the environment plays a bigger factor than timing.

Good luck, I am also TTC a girl in May.

Hi Ezza, I have been TTC a girl. If you read back on the posts you'll see I have ended up ditching the cut off bc I have been TTC for 6 mths. I really think cranberry capsules - 2 x 10,000mg daily make a huge difference to making you more acidic. I know it worked for me bc first month of trying them I didn't get EWCM, it was cloudy/creamy when I would normally have EW. I just take them from AF to just after O, then rest for a couple of weeks. I also favour BDing on O day no matter what you are TTC bc they chances of conceiving at all are higher, so I think O+12 is better and should give a quicker result. Just my opinion though. Good luck, hope you get your little pink bundle soon!

Oh, and welcome and good luck to Megs too!! Spreading some pink

Hi girls, sorry I've been MIA but my internet connect has been dodgey to say the least.

Well I'm just over 14weeks and I've heard bubs heartbeat twice once at just over 12 weeks and last Friday so 14 weeks, my uterus is measuring two weeks ahead of what I am, so the Drs mention the word twins, so will have to wait until the 20week scan on the 30th of May.

Ok better go and get the kids finished for school and go.

    hugs xoxo
