My AF was fairly irregular comparatively. When I was a teenager up until when I had the depo provera or whatever it's called injection at 21 my AF was always always 30 days on the dot and 6-7 days in length with 2-3 days of heavy (need maternity SN), 2 days of medium (need super SN) and 2 days of light petering out. Now (before I took vitex), my AF could be anywhere from 30-35 days in length with a comparitively light flow (only need the blue SN now for light flow!). This has been happening for about 18 months ever since I came off the pill (was only on the injection for the first 6 months, then went onto the pill when I was still 21). I took vitex last cycle and had EWCM at CD13, 14 and 15 and then AF arrived on CD29! Textbook - assuming EWCM indicated I had ovulated, of course. I took vitex until I had the EWCM this month and the O pain I've been getting for the last year and then stopped it this month. Will wait and see if AF arrives on Wed or not (CD29).
Thanks for the ray of home Nurse Dan. I'm cutting out junk food and going back to the gym now (I stopped 3 weeks ago because i was horrendously sick andhad to take a whole week off work... unthinkable! And then the following week I was still a bit off, so thought I'd best not push it. Then last week I had all the docs appointments and tests in my lunch hour so I couldn't go!). I'm hoping to shift some weight quickly - at least 10kg I think. I'm not obese, but shedding 10kg will help me a lot I think.
