My DD1 was conceived about 4-5 days before ovulation. I thought I had missed the boat that month but here she is.

Sucks about your mum. Let it roll off you, she is a negative nancy and if it wasn't that it would be something else. Some people are just like that. xx

Ok so I don't know if I have ovulated this week? But I still feel really wet, like I feel yukky and I just want to shower and clean up.
I havn't gone dry yet like I would if I did ovulate, and I've been thinking quite often "What the heck is going on down there?"
I even put a pad on last night just too feel dry for a little while.

So today it is weird- its like egg white, but its not quite egg white, and it doesn't stretch, well it kinda does but bounces back to a glob and its milky colour.

Either I have a bad case of Vaginosis after we DTD last week or I still have,'t Ovulated and its trying again due to failure to launch? I have had EWCM since last Saturday 20th
and Im begging to feel dry...
Just for a giggle- I made my friend laugh when I told her I didn't like having sex right at the end of my period-like the very minute you finish and hes been asking "Are you finished yet?". When she asked why, she nearly killed herself laughing when I said "Cos I've just had stuff coming out of me for 4 days, I want a break in the weather!". It must have been they way I said it cos we both just laughed and laughed.
Oh boy.....but Im beginning to wonder if I am going to get a 7 day cannesten treatment every time we DTD. I have actually been google searching the phenomonon.
If I have got a dose, I'd better get it in the next 2 weeks before AF shows up- presuming that we missed the boat again and AF will turn up as scheduled.

But my Blood sugar levels have been fantasic this week, makes me wonder if you have conceived if your blood sugar levels lower because your body is busy doing something else?
Anyhow, I guess I will let you all know what happens ....but at this stage of planning I'm stocking up for AF. LOL

Hi Everyone

A fter really bad the last few days I knew A.F was on her way. But I kind of knew earlier before the 2WW started we missed again.

See I now my CM so well that I didn't even have to even hope that I was pregnant. About 4 days after suspected ovulation I saw the tell tale mucus. I was a little confused by the creamy CM but it was a different ovulating mucus to what I normally see. But apparently its still very fertile.
So, I just happened to look down during a visit to the lav, and I was upset with what I saw. "Oh great I said 'Period Pus'!" Sorry to be so graphic but you know that stuff that looks like snot! YEEEUP! I call it P.P because it maeans A.F will turn up in 2 weeks!

And yes- she turned up last night. You can't imagine how angry I felt, so devistaed at the same time even though I was expecting her! I just stared at the paper so fuel with hate!
I never thought I was feel such resentment growing for what my body does- or lack there of what I want it to do! ( A BFP!)

But anyhow, I had a week from hell I was a sick as a dog! I went up to the hospital after days of cramps, vomiting, and sheer agony.
I was greated by a charming Triage nurse who asked me was there any stinging or burning when I pee, No I said who then flatly stated "You probably have thrush!" Man was I furious! How dare she try and diagnose me, how dare she insult my body!
I polightly told her "Umm, I would like to see a Dr please" But I felt like saying "Thank you for the diagnosis DR!" Unfortunat;ly thre is a poster on the wall that says abuse will not be tollerated and you will not be seen rar rar rar.....

After sitting there for 5 hours I saw a Dr and Im telling him the story....

"Last week my DP said he went to the Drs because he had a sore penis and he thought Id given him something?
I have been doubled over with cramps laying in bed trying to go to sleep, vomiting, sweats,...and my Vagina feel like its on fire!
I've either got thrush, an upper UTI or both..."

"Oh dear, we better see whats goin g on!" so in goes the speculum.
"Well, you have no sign of Genital Warts, but your Cervix is very inflamed!...there is a discharge so we will send a swab away, but there is always the possibility of a Clamydial or Ghonorreah infection!"
grandually went to...............Has that bastard been r***ting around behind my back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then I was almost in tears. HOW HOW HOW!
'I will be back in a few minutes with an nice HUGE injection for your butt'......he said he would give me antibiotics to cover all bases, he was treating me for an STD even if I didn't have one.
So I sweated in uncertaintly until the results were sent to my GP and I could find out a week later what the swab incubated.
I phone the surgery on Monday...Nothing!
I was pretty sure it was an Upper UTI. Ive had one before, there is no pain or burning when i pee, just a burning whole abdo cavity and its contents and vertical pain up the stomach muscles and absolute agony when I walk.
I felt crippled, and mammed.......and then I felt like a total jerk for ever thinking my DP would ever cheat on me.

So it was a week from hell, and not that Im back to CD1, I finally feel human again, and I can go and pick up my brain from where I last parked it before the PMS hit!

Back to the drawing board!...cough cough- or is it back to the Bedroom? (Sorry couldn't help it!)

Hi Danielle,

The Cannesten treatment is a thrush treatment. It comes in differing lengths, I think you can get a 3 days or 5 day but I have found the short ones don't work as well.
Thrush can happen when the flora of the vagina over populate and you get yeast. Can be called Vaginosis, yeast infection, thrush, Candida infection, or Gardnerella, they all mean the same.
The symptoms are itching, in combination with a foul smell. Antibiotics and diabetes can also tip the balance over.
Sometimes I use inner health plus from the chemist, or eat lots of yoghurt. These are also good for control. I think there is also a probiotic called Yukult you can drink but I haven't risked the taste incase I spend all that money and it tastes terrible.

We were trying for a girl, but we were still way out. I've got such varying cycle from 28-32 and a Leuteal phase of 14-16 days so it all drasically changes when you ovulate.
The LP is the days from when you ovulate to when your next period is due. Those 2 weeks between ovulation and AF.
Generally in a normal cycle if you count back from CD 1 14 days before AF that would be the day you ovulated.
