Tanstar - hun, massive hugs! I've had weigh ins like that - it's like a kick in the guts huh?
Please, let it roll off your back and keep yourself on track. Stay with the program Hun. It could be water weight, it could be that you have a big poo (sorry for tmi) on it's way. You have been doing all the right things Hun, so I really doubt you've gained one kilo of fat!

How did everyone go with the stepping lunges challenge last week?

Lovely L. Still upset but determined. My main goal this week is to track EVERYTHING. I was a bit slack last week with tracking and I think it will make a difference because things add up and I don't realise it.

Tanstar- massive hugs hun!!!! I've had a gain this week too- and it's more than yours!!! I've actually put on 1.4kgs!!! Like L11 said, I'm sure there's a few reasons for it, but at the end of the day, this journey is a rollercoaster. Not gonna let it get to me either. Just going to continue on my way, and keep going as best I can. Meh. Can't help but feel a little disappointed, but it's a great opportunity to refocus on my GOALS and start tracking again.

Ladybird 11- what's the lunges challenge? I missed it? I've been lunging though LOL./

    hi girls

dh convinced me to reinstate my ticker to keep me accountable i guess he's right.

don't worry about small gains, we'll all get there eventually- remember this is a long term thing, not a short term diet.

i had a small loss of 0.5kg- that's ok, spot on what i am aiming for every week.
gotta go and do the supermarket shopping with my 2 kids. total nightmare!!! might have to grab a coffee on the way LOL

Mildez... Good luck with the Michelle Bridges Challange today!!!

Krystals... Very nice healthy food court choice there!!!!

Belfie... I hope you all feel better soon!! It really makes it hard when your not feeling 100%!!! My house hold has JUST gotten over a cold, DD and I got it the worst!! It wasnt fun!!

Ginger... I have a love hate relationship with my ticker... being a major weight yo-yo-er (i will lose weight and then gain it back and then lose more weight and gain a little back) I get really frustrated and i hate adding weight to me weight loss ticker!!! Its bad enough when the wii tells me i have gained weight!!! I am thinking of ditching it too, but then i figure - nah its good to have, I just wont update it for every tiny loss and gain!! I will wait til i have maintained a weight for a while first!!!

LadyBird... I have been a major slacker this week- i didnt even attempt the lunges!!!! Its just been me and my bike this week, I havent even turned on the wii!! But I am feeling much better and I am ready to power on this week!!!!

TAnstar... Little gains suck!!!!! Like LB said though- its doubtful that you have put on 1kg of fat!!!! Have you done your measurements lately??? When people told me to do that I was like measurements smeasurements.. but then I checked them and found out that in three weeks I had lost a massive 6cm off my gut!!!! Which I had kind of noticed.. but it was really nice to have the numbers there infront of me!! If you have been doing everything right, just keep doing it!! It will pay off!! It will pay off HEAPS more than giving up or going backwards!!!!!!! If it makes you feel any better, I had a loss that still meant I still really had a gain!! ( coz thats how I roll!!!!) I am 81.9 now!! So less than I was yesterday, but more than I was during the week and last week!! Its just crazy!!! Maybe neither of us should weigh for two weeks. Just keep doing the good things, keep keeping track of our food and doing our excercise and stay OFF THOSE SCALES FOR TWO WEEKS!! What do ya reckon??

So yeah as I said to Tan.. I had a little loss that still meant a gain for the week!! Was still nice to see i was back in the 81's (just) but frustrating all the same!!! So this week I am on excercise overdrive!! lol Well, at least something everyday!!! The bike for half an hour during the day and again at night and some wii during the day!! And I have slcked off on my situps and stuff too, so i will start doing them again and incorporate some lunges and pushups!!!

BUT first.. I get to change a stinky nappy!! WOO WOO!!!

to everyone lurking (or who hasnt found the new thread yet!! )

    Hi Guys,
Yet again i have been MIA!!!

Got a bit going on at the moment... https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...g-long-167848/
and like a few of the other girls i have been suffering with sickness in the house and myself... i got a flu (not a cold) and now that i am over that, dd2 has given me her cold so exercise has been very minimal last week, but i have kept eating well and i guess that paid off as i was down .....

    wait for it

    wait for it

(is the suspense killng your or annoying you yet)

    1.7kg in a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you add back the 600 grams i gained the week before i am 1.1kg down in 2 weeks
I really couldnt believe the scales yesterday.... Belfie I think that you said you go in cycles and are not consistant each week, well i guess the same with me as i have a small loss (or a gain) one week and then a huge of the week after!

I am sorry for the lack of personals, i will try and get on a bit more now, but my computer is in DSS room, so i can only use it during the daytime and then i am limited y a toddler!

Take care all and i hope to catch up

    Unhappy

    Hey everyone!!!

I have had a very slack week for excercising!!! Eating has been good, but my motivation to excercise has just been completly non existant!! I am feeling very blah at the moment!!! I am much too scared to hop on the scales for fear of a rise, so ignorance is bliss for me today!!!

DH has been home - he is trying to find a job closer to home, and not having much luck. For some reason I just lose my excercise umfph when he is home!! So last week was kind of like on long weekend!!! I think its just cause I get out of my routine and everything!!!

I have also come to the conclusion that while I am on these meds, the weight is really not going to shift the way it would if I wasnt on them (lol does that make sense!!) Which personally can be REALLY disheartening!!!! Putting in so much effort and excercising soo much and getting jack all results is really deflating.. but thats what happened a few months ago, and as a result I put on a good 7-8 kg's because I got all mopey about instead of doing something about it!!! So I really need to stay focussed, and be ok with the fact that the weight may not shift, but that at least with all my hard work, I'm not getting heavier!!!!

I hope everyone else is having a better time!!!!

    Happy excercising!!!!!
