    Hi all!

Well today is a better day, but still not great. It's rainy and a bit cold here and we are all stuck inside with not much to do and all I want to do is comfort eat! I made some chicken curry for lunch/dinner which is fairly healthy, but I also made some bread and butter pudding. Which is not so good! Again no exercise either. Drinking loads though. Trying to do something right!

Christy, congrats on your loss! And good on you for joining the million kg thingo. I have looked at it, but I don't want to join and let anyone down. Mostly myself since I am struggling so much, I don't want to feel obliged to be doing anything for anyone else, itms! It's hard enough to do it for me! I actually think that's the hardest part, to do it for me.
I am plannig on getting all of my medical 'stuff' checked soon. I have no idea when I last had my cholesterol checked! It's probably elevated. I have become so unhealthy. It's scary stuff thinking that all of those things can go wrong simply die to weight gain.

Tan, I'm a terrible self sabotager too. It totally sucks, and I don't know why I do it....
But go you on the exercise stuff!! That is a great effort! I think I would have passed out half way through pushing 40kg in a pram!!

Astrid, when I exercise early, I tend not to have anything in my tummy except some water. But I haven't been exercising very hard, usually just a walk. But maybe you could have a yogurt, a slice of bread with peanut butter, small smoothie, or a breaky bar thing.

JBM, boo on the toothache. They truely suck!! I hope it's better soon.

    Quick one

No paper for printer, so having to write out exerise plans, meal plan for the day and work out the shopping list. Arrghh - would be so much easier to print. No excuses though.

Sassy - well done! I slept in this morning, oops. Love your helpfullness about the scales but no - same ones. I hadn't been eating breaky so perhaps it is an adjustment?? Did you have eggs or beans?
We had an ok food day yesterday with a visit to the IL's. Coffee and 2 weet bix for breaky. Some roast chook but no skin and salad for lunch. A sandwich for dinner and then one choc biscuit. I will get to the gym this evening after Dh gets home. Making roast lamb and baby beet salad for dinner.
Astrid how have you found the meal plans? Acheivable for your family time and $ wise?
Christy - sounds like you have it all sorted! Dh did find his weight was important too - he should get back on track too soon....
Hi everyone else! Kids going berzserk here....BBL

Astrid - it will all be worth it and just think of them mental and physical exercise your giving your brain and hands - how did your plans go hun, i haven't had much chance to sit down and go through the exercises and things but i will this morning and see how i go

Sassy 123 - i'm doing well thanks for asking, i don't count calories and i did start a food diary but the last couple of days i have been very happy with my food choices that i just didn't write it out anymore and know that i have been making ok decisions, i'm trying to be more accountable in myself.. lets see how it goes.

3LM - your doing a great job hun recognising the things you know you really don't need but a slip up once every now and then really wont hurt us, were still allowed to enjoy life and yummy food, we just have to be conscious of HOW it will affect us later, just means making more of an effort the next day right Yesterday i had not 1 but 2 mini donuts with DP and the girls out shopping but you know what, i did 2 laps of the shopping centre and ate salad wraps for tea.... so i think i deserved that tiny piece of YUM..

JBM - how you going hun, hope your tooth is feeling better.. i honestly think a toothache can be worse than child birth

What about 1MKC for the challenge?

Christy - great work on the weight loss hun, being off detox might mean the weight loss slows down but remember they say to be healthy you should be loosing between .5 and 1kg a week, any more and you may not keep it off. I hope you can get all the love and support you need from here and the 1MKC

Tanstar - how you going hun?

Anyone else i have missed i'm sorry i've gone back through all this tiny writing and DD1 is bugging me about whether or not there was a storm while she was sleeping last night

AFM - I'm feeling good about the choices i am making regarding food and i am not worrying about tiny little things, ie yesterday we had a chicken & salad wrap for lunch before going out to do some shopping, then while shopping DP bought a diet coke so i had a couple of sips and then he bought the girls some mini iced donuts, we had 1 each and then there was 1 left and i ate it, but you know what i don't mind, we walked for over an hour in the SC and then i had a slad wrap for dinner so i don't mind.

Tomorrow i am meeting up with some gorgeous BB girls as a late celebration of our girls b'day's and we are having coffee, I'm going to go a skinny latte but wondering what i should have with it (will be mid morning and normally about snack time) - i highly doubt carrot sticks will go down well with a latte.. so any suggestions, i could possibly get one of the weight watchers muffins from muffin break - it can be a little treat ??

I have been lazy with checking the 1MKC exercise & recipe schedule but will have a quick look today and need to work out what i can & can't do (i have a dodgy wrist).

For me i think my farmgirl workout is working, we walk to the chickens and back twice a day (up 2 kind of hills back to the house) then the other night we took the kids out in their gator and i rode the motorbike in the paddock, i got off the motorbike and started walking around beside them instead
We also water out plants once a day so i carry 2 watering cans down the hill to do 3 trees then back up to the tank then back to the other 5 trees which are on a slight incline ON the hill and back to the tank so thats a little workout.
Houseowkr is becoming a workout too, i try and do the vacing as quickly and vigorously as possible, i do 2 loads of washing in 1 basket and carry it out so it's heavier and more work

Well thats enough from me i guess, hope everyone is well.

Hi everyone. Sorry I only post occassionally - I can't seem to find the time to keep up with this thread and write personals.

Anyway - first week in for me and I have lost a kilo . Hopefully another week and I'll be under the dreaded three digits. I've been really good with exercise - bike every night (except one), and went for three walks. Eating is going okay - I'm allowing myself one indulgence (chocolate), and so far this seems to be working. I'm feeling good in my head though - I often find myself saying "I will do this, I am doing this".

Hi to everyone. Hope everything is going well. I hope to find time to post, but if I don't, I hope everyone has a great week.

JBM - You poor thing - tooth aches are awful, hope it is feeling better soon.

Astrid - How did you go writing everything out?!

Mak - Sounds like you had a good day - mmm roast!

Sassy - I wish I could go to the gym regularly! DH leaves for work at 6:10 so mornings are out - am going out for run at night when I can when he best home but once it starts getting dark early I will start doing something else. WOOO for 500 cals!! Wow that is awesome- what are you doing to do that many calories? I burn around 200-230 on my 30 min run/walk - maybe I need to do another 30 mins of something when I get home. I use My Fitness Pal and my daily cals are 1280. I try to stick to that but am blowing our regularly and depressing myself.

3LM - I know, I don't know why I do it. Under a bit of stress here too at the moment with some heavy family stuff going on and that doesn't help. I know I comfort/stress eat but knowing it doesn't really help. I really need to up my water too. I have been a bit better but could improve.

ZF - You are on fire woman!!! Good on you hun and you are seeing the results of your hard work which is ace! Are you following the meal plans on 1MC? I am going to print it out today as well as the My Special K one.

Anyone I have missed - I have a gf coming over and still in pjs!

Weighed in today and have gained around 400 grams. So annoyed and disappointed but not surprised really. Obviously the exercise I am doing is NOT burning off all the crap I am eating, dammit. Back to it today - fruit and yoghurt when I am craving sweets, lots of water, not sure what for lunch yet - maybe tuna and salad, and something healthy for dinner.

    Have a great day all!

I gave the girls a tiny chocolate while they watch their DVD and i do dishes, i unwrapped a mini flake, looked at it, WRAPPED IT BACK UP and put it in the cupboard... once i'm finished the dishes i'm going to have some carrot sticks

Good job ZF! I think thats the best thing, not have it in the house.

On Sundays I chop up heaps of celery, carrots and red capsicum and put them in a tupperware keep fresh thingo... that way I always have snacks on hand if needed. I also do a huge thing of hummous and mexican salsa to dip them in.... If I'm craving carby snacks, I put a tbsp of hummous in a whole meal mountain bread wrap and roll it up...

I made the cleansing salad today from the 1MKC and it was good! I put a bit in a wrap for lunch as I had no tuna in the house according to their food guide... but it was filling and felt good to eat! I had a smoothie for afternoon tea with fresh fruit and thats it in it. YUmmo.... tonight for tea is chicken and salad.

Ok. Wrote out what I needed to, then printed it all out at work today. Must say their shopping list is not the best, think there are some errors.

Horrid, horrid night. No sleep. Just too hot, then DD2 came to bed. Add to that getting up 1/2 earlier than normal, I felt an absolute wreck. Despite that though, I got on with it. Weighed, measured and did some of the exercise (ran out of time and energy).

So here is the bad bit, the Wii had me at 92kg!!!! That is 2 up from the last weigh in, but that was on a different set. I am shattered. Yes there has been some bad moments during the past few weeks, but overall I thought I was much better. I suppose though it is the real kick in the guts I need to take the 1MKC seriously.

Have to tweek things, need to do more of an evening. Like the juice and lunches. Just a mess this morning, with a full dishwasher and juicer to clean

Astrid - I hear you on the gaining, was a kick in the butt for me too. I think the new prep routine will take a bit of getting used to as you have to change things about. We can do this and get off the roundabout.

Christy - will do a big vege chop up too I think! Especially for work.

ZF - WELL DONE - not something I am good at! I agree better to have nothing in the house to talk to you.

3LM - hang in there - hard when there is stuff going on but I always think that managing some good stuff is better than none - as long as you are not beating yourself up about results. Maybe give up on the scales for a bit but try to tweak your routine if you can?

Hi to everyone else! Had beans and walk/jog this am (and last night for a run) and feel pretty full! Off to get some brown rice and more fruit vege. I have 3 weeks off coming up for DD to start school and am super keen to get moving before I go back to work (and the scales lol).

So, just got my blood test results and they are worse than I thouht they were. So bad in fact I need to take iron liquid everyday plus injections weekly. I'm also low in vitamin d. (need to spend more time in the sun) and my cholesterol (fasting test) was elevated! At 24 Gees! Now I'm cracking down on what gets brought... So dissapointed.
