hj1981, I can't really exercise first thing in the morning. My kids are up around 5/5.30am, and I can't exercise with them. We don't have an exercise bike or treamill or anything I go for walks out on a track not far from my house. I can take two of them if I have to, and have one in a carrier and one in the pram, but I can't take all 3 because they walk too slowly and couldn't walk the whole track and back home. It usually takes me about an hour to do the whole thing, so with the kids it would be forever!! So I have to just wati til DH is home and I can go without them. It is great me time too, to just be in the silence alone with my thoughts, or have some music blaring to drown out my thoughts, lol!

Niadalla, back on the horse hun. Would AF be due, maybe? Could explain a gain.

AFM, I weighed myself this morning. 93.1kg. Not too bad considering I have been eating pretty terribly, and haven't exercised for about 5days. And AF is here too! So in those terms, it's pretty damn good, lol! But I have to pull my finger out. Hopefully now AF has shown up, I might be able to regroup properly without the hormones giving me cravings and mood swings!

At work so keeping this quick

Doing Yoga on the Wii when I wake up now, about 20 minutes. I know, not huge fat burning cardio stuff, but my body needs to become flexible, it is quite stiff these days. If there is time of a morning I will try to fit in some cardio, even if it is just running around the yard for 10 minutes, or in my case stumbing around the yard trying not to trip on the dog.

Losing so far this week. So aim to keep that up

It's hard, hey? - keeping motivated. It's really good coming to this thread and seeing how everyone else is going. We're not alone ion this.

It's Cup Day here, so DH only had to work till 11am. He came home and we went for a nice long walk with the kids. Bought some salad sandwiches for lunch and stopped at a park for DS to have a play. It's so nice having DH here to exercise with me - much more interesting. We were talking and he is really keen to lose weight too - he thinks he needs to lose about 10-13kg. I wish that was all I had to lose! Having him on board with me is going to make a big difference I think .

3LM - i think the "me" time would make the wait until DH gets home all the more worth it and even more enjoyable hahahahaha

Does anyone else hate doing any form of exercise when AF is around? i hate it and AF is here and im using every excuse in the book not to do anything! bad i know!

Sterla - i would make it more easier if DH came on board too my DH has, but he has turned into a Natzi, makes me feel really really bad for even thinking of something bad LOL

Boo to AF! I'm so thankful she hasn't reared her ugly head yet. DS was 11 months old when AF returned - DD is about to turn 10 months... I'm hoping AF stays away as long as possible! I remember hating to do exercise when I had AF.

    JBM great work there.

Plodding along here. Doing very well, then the weekend hits with kids birthday parties etc. Can't blame anyone but myself, as I could have swapped the chips for veggie sticks *sigh*. Lets hope it does not wipe out the losses I had till Thursday morning.
Ooh, some good news. The local (well only) juice/smoothie bar has a juice that is pretty much the same as renew juice. So if I am out and about, I can grab something that is within the plan as a free food and tastes pretty good.
Now to get some exercise in today. There is the usual cleaning to do and I might fire up the Wii and get the girls doing just dance with me.

Hi ladies. Haven't been doing well but I think I'm back in the game again now.
10km fun run today. Finished in 1hr 36 (yep, I'm slow but I'm also very big) and I wasn't last for once! WOOP!

Hoping that now I have my training mojo back, I can follow it up with my eating mojo and start really kicking some weight loss backside.

I am buggered, so am off to bed. Will pop back in sometime in the next few days and catch up.

Niadalla - good on you for doing a fun run and not coming last

Mak - know to well the desire for a nap over exercise.

Ok, 1.5kg down this week All of it, of course, in the first 3 days of the week, which means at least no gain for the not so perfect weekend
Will start the yoga again tomorrow, was going to today, but Miss 3 had me up all night and then stayed up from 5:30.

yah for everybody who has done amazing things, from weight loss, to getting their mojo back

to those who stumbled or hit a brick wall, today is a new day

I'm doing ok, I think I've lost weight this week, I forgot to jump on the scales last week, will do it this week. I feel thinner and I've been told by one of my mates that he can see my collarbones again and my boobs had gotten smaller (how come gay boys spot things like this more than straight boys do????). I got two weight loss compliments on Friday, one was my niece who hasn't seen me in over a year and she was blown away by how much I'd lost (I was in jeans 2 sizes smaller than what she'd last seen me in), then had a girlfriend stay for the weekend, who was going "wow you've lost weight since I saw you last", which was at a retreat in Bali in Sept (she was also our yoga instructor, so saw me in yoga pants twice a day with my arse in the air)

JBM - Well done, that is awesome work

zarava - have you managed to get a walk in? It's been raining heaps here!

naidalla - Well done you! i bet there was nothing "fun" about that run though hahahaha, but awesome work! very proud of you

Astrid - 1.5kgs!!!!!!!!!!!!! jealous here! that is fantastic, keep it up

Sopdet - LOL your right, the gay guys are always more observant arn't they! and they are always the nicest and most encouraging too. Sounds like you too are doing fantastic.

AFM - Well this was AF week and i only lost 400grams but i guess a loss is a loss and i have reached my first mini weight loss goal (5kgs) i have lost a total of 5.1kgs in 5 weeks so im pretty happy! just wondering though when will it be noticeable?!

Well I bit the bullet and joined the gym near work today. I'm just too exhausted in the afternoons to walk home. Would rather go to the gym at lunchtime and do a workout. At least I'll have a gym buddy with one of the girls at work who goes too.

I go in and get the first part of my assessment/program on Thursday lunchtime.

Have reiterated to them that I'm joining to get fit for a volcano climb in Oct/Nov, that I'm not fussed about weight loss. That way I know that the fitness component will be focussed on, instead of weightloss. I know that as I get fitter, the cms fall off and my body fat % goes down.

    That's awesome Sopdet!

I weighed myself this morning... I've now lost 8kg since I started! Another 4-5kg and I'll be the lightest I've been since before I had DS! I've been keeping up with the walking and cycling... and I've got my hands on a Zumba DVD to do at home. From what I've tried so far, I think the Zumba DVD will give me a really good workout - should work a lot of new muscles . I'm not kidding myself that I look any good doing it - but it's a bit of fun!
