200g gain for me this week. AF is here plus i have the foulest head cold... as does DD & DS. I'm soooo tired. Need to make sure I don't just wallow in comfort food while I feel like crap. Also looked at my overall progress and oh my goodness I have really slowed down in the last month. I need to up the ante somehow. I think I'll just try to maintain while I'm crook then get back into it once I feel a little better. On the bright side, lost another 1cm from my waist & 0.5cm from my hips. So that tells me something. 3cm to go till i'm 80cm... I just finished my "4 weeks, no diet coke" and I'm still consistently losing 1cm off my waist every week even though my weight loss has slowed heaps... so maybe there is something to it? Hmmm .
3LM - it's hard when it's not moving yet. I reckon if you can up your protein that should help, also try to drink plenty of water.
Mildez - AWESOME work on the bike! You go girl, and nearly 10kg gone now, that is fantastic .
Sterla - great loss, well done! I agree that BF'ing totally helps, I noticed a huge difference when I tried whilst feeding DS and then after I'd stopped feeding. So it was such motivation to do it while I fed DD this time. It's great incentive.
Tinsel - eeww gastro you poor thing, that's the pits. I have fingers crossed that 75 is gone on Monday too.
Ginger - you can do it. I've had weeks with gains/falling off wagon (this week obviously!) and just pick yourself back up & try again - then you've got a chance. If you don't try again, you'll just be annoyed at yourself. Don't pretend it didn't happen, we ALL have times when it happened and the key to success is to look forward to what you want, not backwards at what you're not happy about.
Tan - Yoga meltdown? Lol that sounds scary but good I guess . It's hard around birthdays, good on you for keeping on keeping on!
AFM, DH is on board now. I'm really noticing a difference in his behavior - am daring to hope that it'll really stick with him this time. He even cycled friday night after a huge week at work. Wow. He has a lot of trouble with his back (really needs to lose weight for it) so the challenge for him is to stay motivated & disciplined through the setbacks that inevitably happen. . He has 15kg to get rid of.
Ok well I'm feeling more motivated after writing this. Minestrone for lunch, a fresh home made juice packed with goodies then dinner at the IL's (feeling strong about that cos it sticks it to my MIL when I eat well ).
