Hmmm. Apparently I weigh 68.9 again. I'm sure that's not right!

Anyone seen the "pharmacy choice" weight loss shakes? I'm thinking of getting some to have for brekky.

I seem to be going steady at 70.5kg - but at the rate I am eating that in itself are a wonder!!!

I have decided that from Monday (it's dd's birthday tomorrow and party on Saturday, so I don't want to set myself up for failure) I am going on a fruit & veg only for the week (5 days) Then I'll add some lean meat for three days and THEN I'll try some carbs (bread, pasta) again. I hate going off a food group - but I am desperate and I just need a change in the "eat-healthy" routine. Sounds silly, but I need to reboot my system.

Also I was not in the gym this week, I have a flu-sinus-throat-virus-thing brewing so I am still blah-blah from that

I agree - don't you just love the way you loose weight first in places you did not really want or notice?? Like your face, neck, bb's, wrists and ankles. BUT you have to BEG your arse and thighs to shake some of that fat!!!

    Yay for Kazbah!

Congrats on your loss too Mitch - 700g is really good! Enjoy (or at least complete) your 12k walk. That's massive!

Nadine, good luck with your strict diet and hope you feel better soon and can get back to the gym.

    Hey everyone!!

I am NOT happy with my weight loss... I have seriously hit a wall!!!

On Saturday night I weighed 70.4kg but this morning I weighed 71.2kg!! AHH!! I dont think I am going to reach 69kg by this Sunday I'm starting to question if I can get down to 69kg or is 71kg my weight.... I am still breastfeeding so maybe my body is holding on to some fat? I do feel great and I look great. Well there is still a lot of fat/flab that needs to go but other than that, I am the skinniest I have ever been since meeting DH nearly 4 years ago!! Hopefully I will get past this wall soon...

Alrighty, going to revisit my stats..

    Weight after pgncy: 96kg
Weight back in September when I started to get serious about it: 84.5kg
    Last weeks weight: 71.4kg
    This mornings weight: 71.2kg
Mini goal by 3rd of Feb: 69kg but dont think thats going to happen!!
Ideal weight: 65kg, hopefully I can get there but if I dont, I am happy where I am!!

OK.. just thought that I would humour myself and jump on the scales again and weighed 70.9kg.. hmmm weighing first thing in the morning just doesnt work for me!! So MAYBE just maybe I can get down the 69kg by sunday.. I will be happy with anything between 69 and 70kg

    hi all,
hope you dont mind if I join in!
I have put on about 28kgs in the last 5-6yrs, and about 10 of them last year (found out I was pg and just let it all hang. the mc made me emotionally binge on lots of choc etc....)
anyway, I decided new year, new me, I bought some of the optifast shakes and bars and for 2 weeks have been replacing 1-2 meals a day with them.
I currently have no operating scales so dont know how much I weigh or how much I have lost, but my bra doesnt fit so well anymore and my pants are definately looser!! yay!!
I have been reading your posts and you have all inspired me immensley!
I hate exercise, have only ever been to a gym once, so I try to get as much incidental exercise as I can, luckily I dont drive, so I have to walk mostly everywhere.
good luck with your goals everyone, you all seem to be doing very well!

Hi starrysky - welcome and all the best for your weight loss journey. I've got around the same amount to go to my goal weight - so we may both be hanging out in this thread for a while!

Tonight is my end of January weigh-in! I'm hoping to have lost 4kg in January. I think that going back on my thyroid tablets and getting my implanon removed have made a big difference (mind you I'm still waiting on AF to return!).

My most recent discovery - low fat creamed cottage cheese. If you use your imagination it kinda tastes like cream cheese!

thanks for the welcome! this has got to be one of the worst times of the year for me, most of my extended families birthdays are in the first 3 months of the year, you know what that means, lots of dinners, cakes, dips, crackers etc......I have resisted temptation with the cake so far, not easy with my family, they are definately feeders!!
anyway, hoping to have some new scales this week, I think I need the reality of seeing how much I do actually weigh, and hopefully the boost of seeing it come off.
last time I weighed myself I was around 76-78 kgs, but I may have put on since then, and lost some too!
wishing you all well with your goals.

    Welcome Starrysky!
Ruth, fingerscrossed for your weigh in
VERONICA!!!! Congratulations!!!! Its amazing, you lost 26.2kg in just over SIX MONTHS!! That is a healthy weightloss of about 4.4kg a month. YOU GO GIRLFRIEND I am sooo excited for you. How do you keep your DH's hands off you

After a shamefull weigh in of 71.4kg on Monday (flu, dd's birthday party, NO excercise and bloated) I just got off the scale 70.1kg! Sounds impressive, but it's purely just water I think. I am waiting for AF on Monday, but am hoping to be at the 69.4kg mark for Monday morning's weigh in.

I have discoverd the amazing wafer biscut Am gorging myself, but I keep telling myself it's bettter than chocolate

January Weigh In Result: 3.6kg in January! Yay I'm happy with that! Now I'm down to 98.9 and I'm aiming for 95kg by the end of February.

Eating has been going quite well and exercise is getting there too. Work stress is creating a bit of a problem - on one hand I'm nauseous because I'm stressed so don't eat, but then I want to eat when I get home to deal with the stress!

Hubby wants to start TTC even though I'm 20kg away from goal weight!
