Thnak. So it's eat what you want, counting cals to just under your TDEE? A higher calorie Cal in Cal out thing??
She's more into breaking the whole "diet" concept and if you want a cookie, eat a damn cookie. If you have issues with bingeing on cookies and can't stop at one or two, then she says its usually because of restricting yourself for so long, and you need to sort of be reprogrammed to think that all food is acceptable and there is nothing off limits so to speak - so when you take the restriction away, you don't need to binge on anything because you can have it at any time that you like. She does mention calorie counting, but more in the essence that you are getting enough to support your energy levels. She also says that most people when they start ETF they do go on little binges and that its ok, because pretty soon you realise that junk food makes you feel pretty crappy and you start to crave healthy food instead.

Which I know from my own experience if I have a few weeks of eating junk food and nothing else that I start dreaming of eating salads and craving them instead. I do have serious issues with food though, and I'm the type of person who buys a packet of lollies and has to eat all the lollies once they are opened because I feel so guilty because I shouldn't be having them that I eat them all to get them out of the house as soon as possible. Which is disordered eating.

I don't have a healthy relationship with food at all, and I'm looking to fix that. I know from being pregnant now and letting up on all restrictions, I do have lollies left in the cupboard at the moment and I don't feel the need to eat them. The other day I went to a family dinner and I knew all the lunch options would be fatty stuff like meatloaf and curries and I didn't want any of it - so I made a huge salad at the lunch and I ate that instead.

So I think it might work for me?
