Eluned - hang in there hon. There is light at the end of the tunnel for the pelvis. I promise. Not that long ago I was taking an insane dose of oral voltaren daily before swapping to mobic (both are anti-inflammatories), taking tramadol, digesic, and panadol regularly every day - it was the only way I could get through a night with any sleep. I was wearing a back brace during my waking hours just so I could walk. I was limping and walking like my pelvis was on a diangle. It was horrible. But through almost 12 months of strengthening my core with clinical pilates and a rehab program at the gym, I'm bounced back. I still have issues but I am a million times better. If I had towed the line much earlier, I would have recovered quicker... but I'm stubborn and wouldn't give up my running right away! I still have bad days and moments when I can't do basic things like bend. BUT, I have just recently began to jog again. I have managed three in the last week! Only short bursts, of about 5 minutes at a time mixed in with my walking... but it's a step in the right direction!
How is everyone else going? Enjoying your sessions?
I am purely training for the routine at the moment. It's keeping me going in the right direction health wise... I just need to pull my eating into line!
