Well I lost 300g when weighed in yest, which is a milestone for me, because am JUST back in 60's (he, he, 69.9 is still under 70 in my book) also means I can fit back into most of my pants, but not my 10's, well I could technically but not comfortably, and I don't want to be one of those trashy girls that has the muffin top over the jeans (of course I'd have to wear the midriff with the too tight pants to get the full effect of what I see at the local shopping centre
) Pet peeve.
Prob weigh more than that today though, feeling bloated and crampy. Thought was getting AF's return this morning as looked like the start this morning and plus cranky as hell at everything all day- and now nothing. Am sincerely hoping that this start stop business is due to bfeeding, even thought only feeding her once a day now rest bottles, and not due to skipping the contraception once this month. Eeeeek.
Hi girls, been soooo long.. after the sick kids cam more sick kids!!! then the computer went to the docs using a borrowed soo slooowwww one, so not been on much, i have no idea what has happened with my stats I sent them in but they do'nt seem to be up??? So will wait until next weeks weigh into be sure...What week are we up too???I really was hoping to lose half of my 18kgs before the end of the challenge, it wAS LOOKING GOOD until I lost focus now it's hard to get it back...must get on more often you are an inspiring bunch..

.....I fell off the wagon like Humpty Dumpty!
Buuuuuuut, I joined Step into Life! The first week was my trial week and I have done 3 more since then!I am doing a toning class one night a week but would like to do more but DH says it is to $$$.
Pffft...I don't think it is. I would like to have done a cardio one on another night.
Anyways, DH is on hols atm so every morning I have gone walking with the dog...just a 20 minute fast paced walk but includes either a short very steep hill with a slight less steep short hill after it or a longish sloping hill which has the calf muscles ouching abit by the time I make it to the top.
I have lost about 2kgs in the last week too! With guidance from my PT I am keeping a food diary and having my carbs in the morning and increasing protein in the arvo.Hope it works!
Hope everyone is well and sticking at it better than I did! I am also keeping a blog on my SIL programme and it can be found at www.imdoingitoutdoors.blogspot.com - mods if that is not allowed, no worries, I understand but if it is, would love to have more followers!
Have not read any posts but just wanted to stick my head in and let people know why I fell off the wagon.....which was basically because I needed to be answerable to soemone other than me and that is DH and my PT! So, Yaaay for me!
Remember - MOVE MORE TO LOOSE MORE!!!!!

I assembled 4 flat-packed bookshelves yesterday afternoon. I think it's the equivalent of doing 3 hours of gym workouts... I'm feeling some muscles today! Woulda been really good for me apart from the chocolate I was snacking on...
How is everyone else going? I sooo want to lose another .5 this week, it'll take me past a personal milestone (and to the half-way point), but I'm petrified it won't happen... cheer for me pls!
Cheering for you Belfie!! I want another .75 at least to get me to 4kg down which averages at 1kg a week - weigh in tomorrow eeek!!
ended up losing 200g, which is piddly for the effort I put in, but hey, I lost .5 kg between yest and today, must have peed out some of that fluid (TMI), so am pretty chuffed was not a gainToday I was transferring my cards to my new wallet and discovered that my licence expired 8 months ago
Phew, just as well I didn't have an accident in that time!!! So I got a 5 year licence this time, and actually don't look heinous in my photo for once, glad I've at least lost my face fat
I am so sorry everyone for not keeping this up to date - We've had a shocking run of sickness with all of us getting either a cold or the flu and I struggled to keep up. I will update everything now though. Again, I am so sorry and need my bum kicked for it LOL
Trillian, maybe if you run and we can all chase youSeriously though - don't stress about it.
This week I lost 1.1kg so am now 5kg down and a third of the way to my goalI went away for the weekend with some girlfriends and we drank and went out for dinner etc. I made sure I saved up points to use and made good decisions when eating out. Plus I made them go for a big walk each day to get the babies to sleep but also some exercise for us. It seems that it paid off - yay!
can i join in here? i got alot of weight to lose does it matter that i am a male?
Champion effort Nai!
ooooh, I don't know . . . we're a very sexist thread
The more the merrier ay!
Well, I did a jillian biggest loser dvd today and almost died - I haven't done since dd and didn't realize how totally custard I had become! All that walking might be good for me, but not enough for me to be fit IYKWIM. I then tried to convert our rumpus rooms guest portion into a gym and almost gave myself a hernia moving heavy furniture, and then I went for an hours walk as I'd promised a friend already - so I am going to be soooooo sore tomorrow and soooooo cranky if I haven't lost anything.
Hi guys. Just a quick one but have lost 1.3kg this week. Yay! Getting there, Just wish the cms moved as fast. Anyway will be back later!
in that case to bad you have a male in here![]()
Oh crudd .. I'm walking BIG circles around this thread *hides*
Nai - Goodness ... your doing well
krys - You too!!! Just under 4kg to go.
Mr Squid - Welcome to the secret mind of women on weightloss
I've managed to lost another few grams. Down to 77.9kg. A loss is a loss right? Now if I can only suck it up a bit moreMe and DH is starting Mauy Thai next month. Can't wait. It's being taught to us by our new Personal Trainer *ohhh-aahhh wink-wink* Sure it's going to cost us a bit, BUT BIG BUT we are going to get personal motivation and I need that. I need someone to stand there and shout at me "Yu can du it!!"
I have a good feeling about this. Can't wait. I'm also seeing my dr sometime next week or so, going to ask him to prescribe me something to help me kickstart my weightloss, just so that I can get real motivated again. Any ideas on what?
Nadine216 - ROFL too funny - at least if you're walking circles... that's exercise, right?![]()
I've been doing the same. Put on some weight last week so was way too annoyed to send the info to Trillianbut now I think it was mostly AF! I weighed myself yesterday .4kg UP. Then today... .5kg DOWN so I'm back where I was a few weeks ago! Onwards & upwards. Did a 30 min cycle yesterday then a 30 min walk (to settle DS). Then today 2 walks, both 30 mins... YAY! And I was HORRIBLY unmotivated yesterday am, but started writing down my food anyway, and in the end, didn't do too bad! So... by next Mon, I want to have lost that .5 kg! or else! My weight just varies SO much by day. I have to weigh each day or I get too discouraged by an aberration on weigh-in day. Whereas if I have the whole week, I can see which direction I'm going. I even got on the Wii Fit - haven't done that for yonks, so of course it thought I was 1.9kg lighter teheheehehe that was nice (even if it was after like 3 months!
Mr Squidipa - welcome! Always nice to have new faces, and a male will help give us a different perspective
krysalyss - that's awesome!congrats
Nai - oooh you're doing great too! OMG sometimes I wish I could try lose quicker... then I think... slow & steady I can do it.
Trillian - lol I don't think you need your bum kicked! I think you do an awesome job running this for us all - so thank you very much! As for being slack, well we're all human and getting back up & keeping going is the very heart of this challenge methinks.
I HUUUURRRT getting out of bed this morning - it may have been a mistake to do another hard DVD on top of already sore muscles the next day. Takes me a few minutes to be able to walk straight, on my calves as they freeze up all sore whenever I am still for a while
On the bright side I jumped on the scales before brekky this morn and was 0.5kg down for this week. Anyone else too cold to take their measurements? It's bad enough stripping down to jump on the scales quickly, I am too much of a cold wimp to stay that way to tape measure it upEh, I can tell by my clothes anyway.
It's been quiet in here of late. What's everyone doing to stay motivated?
OMG I think you got the answer Sas... I don't think everyone IS motivated! It's been sooo quiet! WEll I was .4kg up at the start of the week. Then back to status quo on Tues. Then .3kg down today! Woo hoo I'm so excited. Just deciding whether to walk or Wii Fit today (I cycled 40 mins yesterday and my legs are dead). I really want to make my mini-milestone for next week (yeah, the same one I was hoping to get a fortnight ago
better late than never huh).
And all I can say to everyone else is... COME BACK! It doesn't matter what you did or didn't do yesterday or last week... it only matters what you do TODAY!!!
