    Well I think I've been doing pretty well. I did 2 15 minute powerwalks and have also been on my exercise bike every morning. I might do my 3rd Powerwalk this afternoon when DP gets home from work. I did a bit of reserch on the net last nigth and found a pretty handy site on weightloss and exercise so might start doing the exercise plan on it.

    I would carry around 20kg but don't know if I'm supose to. I have a hernia and was told not to lift my kids because the strain will make it bigger. Who knows. Great idea but.

    starting the challenge today, what a cool idea and just what I needed ok here goes,
    1- to get back some energy to keep up with DD toddler
    2- feel healthier than I am at the moment
    3- help my furbaby feel better about himself(a little over weight)
    4- to stop wanting to fall asleep during the day at work.
    5- so I can look in the mirror with out cringing
    6- to be able to wear clothes that don't look like something my grandma would wear
    7- to be able to take DD to swimming lessons
    8- so I can feel sexy about myself again
    9- So I can feel confident in the bedroom (we have mirror doors on the wardrobe yuck!!!)
    10- to do something for me!

    oh i nearly forgot to do my 10 reasons

    here goes
    1. because i need to
    2. because i have pre diabetes symptoms that i want gone and never to return
    3. because i want to live to see my kids grow up

    5. because the pain i live in every day will be a whole lot less with less weight
    6 because i want to feel healthy
    7. because i want to enjoy playing with my kids
    8. because i want to look great in anything i wear
    9. because i want the confidence to look good in anything i wear

    I've lost 2 kgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even with all the bad food I've eaten due to DSS being up here last week!

    Woohoo... Way to go Sharon... Awesome chicky

    I had a really slack wekend on the exercise front... was so hot... i did 10 mins on the bike & almost flaked... so flaged that idea & did house work instead LOl...

    i was also naughty & had 8 beers over the weekend too ... but they were goooood lol...

    Back on track today though... off for a walk for lunch & having a salad for lunch!!!

    Anyone else fond that they come off the rails during the weekend... iam good during the week while at work... but come the weekend I need to padlock the pantry LOL...

    Well apparently I weigh 69.9kg today!!!!!! Will check that again (cause it may mean I lost 3kg last week) cause I think it may be cause I'm dehydrated.

    aw I think you all look nice Kaz.

    Well Iam really happy becuase I just got back from giving blood today and my haemoglobin levels were 13.5 (11.5 or 12 I think is the minimum you have to be to donate)
    I have had trouble in the past with my iron stores, and being on TF I was wondering how it was going but I was really happy.

    I'm in.
    Joined the gym today. I am 39% body fat and I am committed to getting it to 30% body fat in 6m.
    I dont actually care about the weight - all I want is to be toned and the flesh I show to be toned flesh.

    Here we go!!

    yay mrsmac, way to go!!!! I did my walk today 25mins of power walking and I'm no where near as sore as I was Fri night after my first walk, I've even eaten cruskits for lunch today (oh I still hate them)

    wooohooo christine i measured today too it is a lovely feeling isn't it
    i have lost only 1.5 kg since starting
    but 7 cm off my waist 5 cm of my hips 2 cm off my arm 2 cm off my thigh so all in all pretty happy so far wooohoo

    Its really good to see results. It makes saying no to cake and junk worthwhile.

    MrsMac - 5cm is HEAPS!
    Shazz - 7cm is even more HEAPS!! you and MrsMac will be shopping for new wardrobes soon
    Schaz - 2kg is great!
    Mitch - weekends are definitely my danger time - they can be an absolute nightmare if I'm bored or procrastinating because I have more time to eat and greater access to food
    Fi - well done for joining a gym. You sound heaps motivated.
    Kaz - you look fantastic and pip is a sweetie. 3kg is a big loss too.
