You know people on normal low carb diets like Atkins or protein power have just as good results without having to restrict their calories and food so much. Personally I would try one of them first before a meal replacement program.

Sherrie, i have wanted to lose this weight for quite sometime now and i think that TF will give me the head start that i need. Of coure once i get closer to getting to my goal weight then i probably will do one of the things you suggested but for now TF seems to be the best choice for me.

    Thanks, I'm on WW now.
The issue that I have with the aitkins diet is that there is so much focus on meat, and the studies that have been done on people who have fololoweed have generally coe to the conclusion that whilst its great for weightloss, its less good for heart health.
I do agree though that non meal replacement diets do a better job of teaching you how to eat/shop/prepeare food - but them MRs arent designed for that. I see them as a short term kick start not a long term solution.

    Hi,

I went on the Tony ferguson diet for two weeks to lose some weight after having my first baby. I did lose a couple of kilos however i'm a very active person and got really dizzy and sick from having no carbohyrdates. I have since changed to Herbalife's shapeworks programs and have lost a further six kilos and have increased my energy levels alot. It works similar to the TF, you have two shakes a day as a meal replacement and then your main meal can be whatever you like (in moderation) there is also vitamins, minerals and energy supplement tablets that you can also have to aid in your weight loss and general well being. I have since started selling the products, one of the girls that i have on it is doing really well, she has lost 14 cms off her waist & 5cms off her hips in the first two weeks.
Hope this helps you. Good luck with acheiving your weight loss goals!
How are you going on this diet?

I've managed to lose about 12kg since the beginning of the year on my own, I've had some knee injury which plays up every now and then which forces me to rest more than I like to!!

I'm waiting for my first shipment to arrive this week - even though my diet is excellent, its going to be a bit of change for me, but I'm only going to use it for a month, like I said for a bit of a change and keeps me in check for the times that I feel that I can't workout as much as I would like because of my knee!
