DH and I got married in Las Vegas Dec 2006. We stayed for 9 days which in our opinion was too long maybe 5-7 days would have been fine for us. We both lived in the states previously which is where we met and had done a lot of travelling and sight seeing then. We are not big gamblers but saw a few shows (Jonathan the Amazing?? ( I'm a Brit never heard of him lol), Tom Jones, Beetles Love - Cirque du Solei) and had a look at every hotel/casino. There are tours you can do and helicopter rides you can take out/ over the Grand Canyon etc. There is also a discount retail centre about 10-15mins away from the strip. The hotels are amazing. There is one for every taste. We stayed at Circus Circus and next time we go maybe for our 10yr anniversary I will be definately staying at a different one. It wasn't bad but it is the family hotel (we were marrying and honeymooning lol) circus acts running upstairs every 15mins. Which we saw quite a few of lol.

Good Luck with deciding. If taking the children from what I saw/remember they are not allowed on the casino floor. Can walk around the edge but can't be on the floor with the machines and tables.
